Beste mensen, heeft iemand van jullie interesse in mining hardware? Een vriend van mij stopt er mee, want hij heeft zelf geen ruimte en staat nu bij zijn ouders, maar die zijn niet echt blij met het lawaai wat ze maken. Het gaat om 4x 30gh/s mini singles van BTC BFL.

ik had € 115,90 betaald aan import op de 30gh miner

btw: een paar weken geleden gaf Terracoin meer winst dan BTC, echter is die difficulty zo enorm gestegen, dat die nu onder die van BTC staan. Zelfde gaat gebeuren met ppcoin en dan komen mensen weer terug bij BTC en gaat alles weer opnieuw... hele interesante markt! BTC zal denk ik toch als winnaar uit de bus komen (alt coins worden of kunnen alleen ingewisselt worden voor BTC)

de difficulty is enorm gestegen, maar sinds de nieuwe difficulty is de hashrate van het totale bitcoin netwerk iets afgenomen. Nu zullen dus mensen op zoek gaan naar alt coins, maar die moeilijkheid zal ook snel stijgen. Bovendien gaan mensen die alt coins snel cashen of omwisselen voor BTC, wat de koers van die alt coin zal drukken en de koers van BTC zal doen stijgen.

I got my asic miner from BFL 2 weeks ago, guess I got lucky. I'll hit ROI in 2 weeks, I'm now half way.

Btw, I got 9 BTC the first week mining and 6 the second week. This was an unlucky week for Bitminter. But this is the first pool I ever mined (got an FPGA last year but I got about 3x ROI price until I payed more for electricity than it'll mine), then I ordered the ASIC miners on juli 31 and received them august 14 (2013 instead of 2012). I'll stick to Bitminter.

Ik ben echt een complete leek... ik weet nog de goud prijs toen ik afstudeerde en voor het eerst interesse kreeg in goud. € 300 per oz... echter nooit gekocht. Stel ik koop goud voor mijn BTC i.p.v. euro's. Dit is bedoeld om te sparen (investering) voor mijn pensioen of hypotheek (ik zit namelijk na 30 jaar met een restschuld). Er zijn dus 3 dingen die ik kan sparen voor de toekomst (ik ga niet speculeren)
euro's, BTC of goud.
Ik kan ook alle 3 sparen, dus bijvoorbeeld 10k euro, 10k goud en 10k BTC

Ik kan me hier niet in vinden. Ik heb geen fake ce zegel op mijn BFL miner zitten. dit is mijn track&trace (omgekeerde volgorde), dus 3 augustus verstuurd en de 14de afgeleverd.

Thanx for that. I just noticed you said SHA256 alt coins. I still have much to learn. NMC is a SHA256 alt coin. So with asic miners you can mine any SHA256 coins. LTC being Scrypt(?) you can only use CPU or GPU altough my electricity cost, would still not get me ROI on those. Where could I exchange those zetacoins?

what alt coin would be good to mine with asic miners? Thanx to Bitminter, I also mine namecoins. 200 NMC buys you 1 BTC :-p

you can calculate it yourself... all BFL equipment use 5 watt per gh/s. and you can use a bitcoin calculator to see how far you get with 30gh/s. Now it's a whole different story with the current BFL miners. $ 2500 for 50 gh/s and producs are not shipped yet.

I estimated difficulty would go up between 70m and 78m, but got 65m. Next difficulty will be between 75 and 85, "thanks" to these ASIC miners (mostly from BFL)

I have a 30gh miner from BFL. With current difficulty it makes almost $ 28 a day. I pay a lot for electricity, about $ 0.30 per kwh. The minier puls 150 watts from the wall and the pc about 25 watts (it's mostly iddle as the miner does most of the work), that is 175 watts or 126 kw a month, and that makes $ 37,80 on electricty a month. I ordered the miner on preorder (on;y way to get the 30gh) and you probably paid (just like me) $ 600 for it (upgrade from 4 jalapeños). I've been mining for 10 days now and 12 more days, I'll hit ROI not including power costs, but that is like a few more days mining.

edit: now why as a "senior member" do you post such BS in the newbie section? we "senior members" should help newbies and your post doesn't help.  

edit 2: I hve to correct myself... I paid € 650 after upgrading from jalapeños, + $ 88 to ship to my country and about $ 100 on a pc + $ 150 inport taxes). But ROI should still be possible in about 5 month of mining or 6 due to higher difficulty...

Yeah it's demotivating, but so are long blocks. It's part of the game. I didn't know what stale blocks are exactly. I just mine about a week now.

I could not log onto the site due to couldflare error's (522?). Pressing F5 doesn't help then either. Usually I can log back on after a few minutes. Total downtime I noticed is maybe just a few minutes as I use the site maybe a few hours a day. I did notice that the site works better (less error's) on my mobile i.e. on pc it's down, but works on my mobile (android 4.1.2 and 4.3 on my tablet)

too bad we had 2 stale blocks now... even with the prepaid perk, you get nothing.

I mine with 120gh/s asic miners, but I have a question... In the block statistics I see a block with status "processing" (2013-08-21 06:24)
what is wrong with that block? is it stale (or will it be?)

Goud prijs is behoorlijk aan het zakken, nog even en we zitten onder de € 1000 per oz.

ik kijk naar de mt. gox koers (staat standaard op mijn app), maar is dat wel te verwachten? Koers is nu bijvoorbeeld € 88, maar bitonic.nl koopt BTC voor € 76. Is dat gewoon het meeste wat ik kan verwachten?
