Winklevoss Twins' Gemini Crypto Exchange Gets Regulatory Green Light for Litecoin Trading
U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, owned by the Winklevoss twins, has sealed regulatory approval to add Litecoin (LTC) custody and trading. The news comes from an official Medium blog post published Friday, Oct. 12.
Geminis vice president of engineering, Eric Winer, informs Gemini traders that they can begin depositing Litecoin into their exchange accounts as of 9:30 am EDT Saturday, Oct. 13. Litecoin trading will reportedly go live Tuesday, October 16th at 9:30 am EDT.
The coin is set to be the fourth crypto supported on the platform, alongside Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Zcash (ZEC). Consequently, LTC trading pairs will be available against all three cryptos, as well as against the U.S. dollar.
Winers post underscores Geminis thoroughgoing banking compliance and fiduciary obligations under oversight from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS). It notes that Litecoin trading support comes as the result of close cooperation with the watchdog, and that the exchange continues to expand with a security-first approach.
At the moment, anything at all good to buy, the only question is whether you can sit on an unloved project at -30%? I personally would not be able to, which is why I do not invest in these 2 projects.
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.
What are your thoughts?
With the right portfolio and selection of assets for investment, hodl strategy is really one of the most profitable. You can say anything here, but millionaires are people with endurance. If you don't have endurance - go away.
The crypto world at the moment is one filled with so many levels of emotion and reactions to varying degrees of loses experienced by people. While some people are sobbing about their little loses, we should also reflect on the fact there are people who bought BTC @ $20K, Ripple @ $3, ADA @ $1.22, etc. Most of these guys are still hodling, hoping the market will bounce back and they'll recoup their loses.
If you feel sorry for them, open a Fund to help these people and collect money. At the moment, all feel pretty bad and it is those who bought on ATH now sit most quietly, as the movement of 200-400$ they do not change anything.

I believe that they can integrate blockchain technology into their processes and create a token on the basis of which their goods will be bought and sold on the internal platform. This situation is quite possible.
I only think that there are not enough further technological development for Blockchain and cryptocurrency to be enhanced in ways that it becomes commercialized.
To some extent, Blockchain is being applied to many fields. However due to the variation in cryptocurrency price, there will be less usage and application to Blockchain servcies.
Millions of dollars are being transferred everyday with cryptocurrency. However, there are not many usage for it.
What do you guys think?
To be honest, I personally do not understand what is happening with this industry. At the beginning of the year, everyone was building Grand plans and goals, there was such crypto-euphoria, everyone believed in endless growth. But it turned out to be much more prosaic.
i have hold some komodo coins in binance exchange but their hardfork is coming up next on 15th of December and also coin rebranding on 31st December you may know it before. i just need advised should i sell them before hardfork or hold it. i am already in loss for that coins. PLEASE SAVE ME!!!
Expect a sharp drop in volumes and a decrease in investor interest in this project. All this gives such loud signals about the sale that it is difficult to imagine. The only chance for a new project, but Hardfork rarely goes well.

I wouldn't be mining right now. For me, it looks more like a waste of money rather than a reliable investment that will bring constant money. I think that it has become meaningless with the March 2018
Which wallet do you consider for ERC-20 tokens and how safe is it?
I believe that the best option for storing tokens is still the exchange. No wallet can provide you with such security. Yes, there are disadvantages in the form of percentages. But the exchange will help you to return the funds in a critical case

I would not undergo any KYC until every team will undergo KYC too. If they are not ready for their personal data could be checked, how can I be sure that project is run by living people? It is double standarts and I hate them. We need them to respect us and be responsible.

I believe that the market should definitely change in 2019 and, of course, for the better. Now this requires a lot of investors and I think that this is an absolute norm. Just so we go up
I just want to share this personal opinion. I don't think that the cryptocurrency will hit ATH this 2018. I might get lots of negative comments from this but at the very least let me share why I think this. We've come from an ATH last 2017 and this 2018, I believe we've reached a rockbottom market. Which means that we're still on our way to recovery. I do believe though that the market will thrive in 2019 (though it's way too early to say at this point in time because so many things are happening to alt coins)
Well, it was bad year, but 2019 may be even worse. The main issue is lack of trust of investors. It slows the development of the market, so we need to unite to fight scams.
Because even tho i got just $4 dollars he felt really good because i know if I could get any money out this, it means it can only get better and I could probably get thousands of dollars from it
I was glad, of course. But I didn't think so deeply and I didn't think it would end up being so cool. It seemed to me that this is a kind of draw in some lottery, not something more

What's going on with big successful ICO projects? Big Successful Projects like Pumapay, HDAC, Cryptosolartech, Bankex. Look at their coin price, every coin price is like nothing and their trading volume is too low! Pumapay raised 117 Million USD, but their trading volume less than 2 Million USD and coin price are just ridiculous. HDAC, Such a promising Project it was, but HDAC ico investors are lost their investment, ICO price was 1.25 USD per HDAC Coin and now it's trading with 0.037 USD! Seriously? And the same thing happened with Bankex, Cryptosolartech. But Why? What is the reason behind it?
Demand for these projects is low. When they attract a lot of money, it does not mean that they will provide the end-user demand draft, so the price is simply falling, and no one can stop him.

KYC for ICO - a very good idea, but I believe that it is too late. Teams will do so only if investors will strongly push them.
