Re: COVID19 and Its effect on Bitcoin & Altcoin Price? Your Thoughts !

So what if we are at a global pandemic as of the moment? Does that mean that Bitcoin will have to be falling also along with the stock market and others?

I am bullish for Bitcoin as of the moment because the halving seems to have created a nice hype around the community. There seems to be a very positive vibe on the upcoming halving which should have caused people to stock on Bitcoin. It is also a perfect timing that fiat is now being printed without limit.

Bitcoin might fly as high as $15,000 within 2020 if not breaking the ATH.

Re: Will the Bitcoin predictions by Peter Schiff- The ‘gold advocate’ hit the bull's
by

Another prediction by peter Schiff hit the market amid the recent sudden fall of bitcoin which caused a major ruckus. After the prediction of bitcoin reaching $6k to $2k now, he is so sure that sooner or later Bitcoin will fall below $1k and he is quite confident about that, though the famous bitcoin hater felt the heat of bitcoin community, majority people even moke him for his stupid remarks on bitcoin!

Source: TheCoinRepublic

The man is always confident. And you cannot change that in him. He has an air of stubbornness as well. Well, he's an old dog already. No new tricks will this man learn anymore. But the more he talks like this, going into the area of exaggeration, the more he sounds like McAfee. And the more he will probably be ignored and even laughed at.

Re: Can cryptocurrency replace fiat money?
by

on 04/11/2018, 07:25:52 UTC
This has been a very common question. My answer is still yes, although the fullness of this replacement will definitely take a lot of time. Perhaps we will be counting a few decades before finally seeing the world using cryptocurrency primarily.

Re: How foolish are people who invest in Bitcoin?
by

What do you mean "visual illusion?" Are you totally out of your mind? When Bitcoin reached as high as $19,000 plus, everything was totally real. No visual illusions there. If you had Bitcoin at that time, you can easily convert them to cold cash and you will receive the hard $19,000 cash in your hands. Where is the illusion there? The value did not just exist in the charts or in exchanges. Unlike a mirage, it exists in real life.

Re: I do not believe ico anymore

As for me, I am still with the hope that the ICO market is going to improve. But that is not a strong hope I admit. Year after year, the ICO market is really losing credibility with the strong surge of scam ICOs. And the worst thing is that the scam ICOs are even successful in raising huge amounts of investments coming from different countries around the world. It seems that scam ICOs are getting at par with the legitimate ones in their appearance and marketing. Not good to the market.

Re: Speculation on BTC

The truth is that speculations on the price of Bitcoin is coming from everywhere, and everyone. If you want to know the real bases of these speculations, you might only find yourself smiling while scratching your head or feeling disappointed and just shake your head down. The fact is that anything can happen. The only hope I am seeing is that cryptocurrency is really getting more popular. I am banking on this when I look forward to the day when Bitcoin's price will get back to somewhere $20,000.

Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING?
by
TomUyamot
on 13/06/2018, 02:11:07 UTC
Long term trading goes beyond weeks and months. It is usually done with at least a year of hodling. That is the truth. The primary target of long term trading is the huge increase of the values of the tokens being held. That will not happen in only a week. Nor will it materialize after a couple of months. Knowing that the market is fluctuating, the long term goal should be at least one whole year. But if the market within the entire year is characterized with bearish movements, hodling should be extended to at least 1.5 to 2 years.

Re: Will Bitcoin remain dominant
by

Do you think Bitcoin will remain the most dominant coin both short and long term? Even though it does not remain the most dominant coin, this will not be the same as saying that Bitcoin won’t exist long term.

For now, after several years, Bitcoin remains the most dominant coin. This continues in the face of the very fast growth of cryptocurrency, releasing coins after coins in so quick a time. I guess this only proves that Bitcoin is still the most in-demand and the most trusted coin. In the future, more coins will definitely flock the market and yet Bitcoin will stay in the first rank.

Re: What happen with ETH Price ?

I Confused with the Etherium price When BTC down ETH down and now the price of Bitcoin is up but the price of ETH still down.
is there a reason for it? and give advice to me about Etherium.
Thanks before  Cheesy

They are two independent coins so it is not at all puzzling if the prices of the two coins are moving in the opposite directions. It is happening all the time. Although there are times when the market seems to be moving as a whole, it is not a new phenomenon if the prices are moving differently, some in the green side while other are in the red side. What is important for me is that they will both grow in the long run. Be patient.

Re: How to gain income from crypto 1k$/month
by
TomUyamot
on 08/06/2018, 08:19:20 UTC
I set a goal to reach incom from crypto 1k$/month to live on this earnings and do things that i'm interested in. What would you advise, how could i reach my goal this year?

$1,000 a month from crypto jobs is not impossible. But you really have to work hard for it. There are so many opportunities in crypto. You can study and earn a lot from crypto trading. You can also earn from ICO investments. If you don't have much resources, you can join a lot of bounty campaigns, providing different high quality services and get paid with Bitcoin or altcoins. You can also sell various goods for crypto.

Re: The Continuity of Power and Influence of the Banks and the Governments
by
TomUyamot
on 08/06/2018, 07:25:37 UTC
I just want to ask the opinions of the members of this forum regarding the gradual yet obvious turning of events in the world as regards the development of cryptocurrency vis-à-vis the banks and the governments.

We somehow give a connotation that cryptocurrency is a way out of the influential and powerful ways of the banks and the governments. No wonder why crypto first thrived in the underground--in the deep web for instance--
before it came out into the open and eventually into the mainstream arena.

This possibility of staying out of the prying eyes of the Banks and the governments are actually the main bottleneck towards the mainstream adoption of cryptos. The basic nature of government is to control everything within their capability and crypto was directly challenging that capability. That is the reason why a lot of governments are turning blind eye to the cryptos and effectively trying to ban it by various methods.

Quote
However, we noticed that the banks and the governments are now getting into the crypto game. There are news that certain banks around the world are opening up for crypto already. And the governments are also accepting yet effectively regulating crypto at the same time, thus controlling it in some significant ways.

Do you guys think that the with the powerful banks and the governments joining in the crypto development, its revolutionary system will somehow get pulled towards the old kind of system we have right now?

I need your wide perspective on this please. Thank you.

As per one report published by World Bank back in 2016, we now have around 65k regulated commercial banks and Financial institutions around the world who are an integral part of the economy. So you understand how strong their lobby is. Till date we have seen probably 2% of the banks are open to crypto so we have a long way to go. Not all banks and governments are run by visionaries, so they can't predict future and they are more comfortable to function within a prescribed framework.

It's good that the scenario is slowly changing towards the future and few Governments like Japan, Germany and Malta have started recognizing cryptos as a future currency system. I don't think this revolution will be pulled towards the old system that exists now, but the change will also take a longer time than expected. We are seeing the start of it and probably the next generation will see the accomplishments.

So, which is which, is it the old system that is slowly moving into the new system brought by cryptocurrency or the new system slowly eaten up by the old influential players of the world? When you say that there is already around 2% of the banks that opened up for crypto, does it mean that the old system prevails or the new one? Or perhaps it is more apt to say that the two systems met somewhere in the middle and created a sort of compromise?

Re: Bitcoin and altcoin: Who will take control of the market?
by
TomUyamot
on 07/06/2018, 08:10:32 UTC
The market is generally controlled by Bitcoin for now. Aside from the clear data showing that a little less than 40% percent of the entire cryptocurrency market is dominated by Bitcoin, it is also clear enough that when something negative happens to Bitcoin, the whole of cryptocurrency market is also affected. On the contrary, you cannot see Bitcoin dropping in value because a single altcoin is getting pestered with legit cases.

Re: Do rich people get off easier when they break the law?
by
TomUyamot
on 07/06/2018, 07:28:32 UTC
That happens most of the time. Although it is more rampant in the underdeveloped countries, the same pattern can also be observed even in the countries that are as advanced as the United States of America. We know that our society is so hospitable and considerate to rich and influential people. Even the law seems to show its teeth only to the poor and the underprivileged ones. The government can always tame the law for the sake of certain individuals.

Re: Why the crypto is dropping again?
by
TomUyamot
on 05/06/2018, 07:12:54 UTC
I thought the market is recovering, but BTC and most of alt coins are dropping again today.
Should I sell my coins?

Sell them to me a bit cheaper than in the exchanges and I will buy them. LOL.  Wink

Why ask whether to sell them or not when it is you yourself who just said that Bitcoin and the altcoins are dropping? It does not follow. Is that what you learned from your research, that by the time the prices of your coins are dropping, think of selling them instead of hodling them so that they will recover their prices? You need to learn more.

Re: How to trading without capital
by
TomUyamot
on 05/06/2018, 05:13:31 UTC
is it possible to trading without capital?
Without capital here means without money that come out from your pocket as capital.
If possible, i want to learn from very small thing in trading, yes without money on my pocket or my bank account.

If you want to become a trader, you need to have something to trade. There is no exchange platform that will give you something to start trading with. And that something does not come from nothing. It either comes from you or from somebody else. What is sure though is that both involves money. Pursuing trading without releasing a capital amount is like wanting to drive a car without any plan to gas it up. Remember that this is also a form of investment.
