Real world use for smart contracts
by

I am curious about your point of view though.
Could you imagine blending the real world with something like a smart contract?

For example, could you imagine buying a car at a dealership with ONLY a smart contract,
or would you expect to sign additional legal terms along with it?

My feeling is you need both, but that’s because some terms seem hard to automate (like a “reasonable” grace period if you’re late on the loan).
Or, how would you resolve a situation where the car is defective or warranty disputes...

Re: Bitcoin in College???

In my opinion, I think we don't need to have a bitcoin course or subject in college. We could just simply add it to our lesson plan in the Economics subject. That would be enough to know the basic in bitcoin and how to get starte There is always so many unpredicted things that are happening around digital currency and it would be really hard to cover if we were to implement it in a subject.

Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?

Whatever ever type of spreading words from the masses. it is proven effective that one of the most effective ways to advertise something is through showing them on televisions since most of the time people spend their rest period through watching t.v. aside from browsing on the internet which is the best possible option. Television ads had the power to convince viewer through creative ways.

There are several ways to earn a bitcoin:
You can use mining, trader and work in a campaign.
At the mining is not easy to everyone because if you need it you must know complete knowledge of mining..

Second thought is to become a trader.it gives you to earning more bitcoin with profit..
Last is Campaign, You can work in a campaign and get more gain from that.. but the last thing depends on your skill based..

I don't think that's even possible because Bitcoin market is somehow related to the stock market. Even though they are two different things, but still if you can find a way to minimize how to prevent the violation of the price then that means there is even the slightest chance that you can control the share market price too

In terms of businesses, I guess bitcoin is a good business opportunity. Since I was used coin.ph wallet I offered to my friends the services scope of this like remittances, e-loading, paying of bills and bank transfer. I used my bitcoin to my business and it was truly largely help to me to increase the income of my family.

Bitcoin was a good opportunity to small people to have business for their future, that's why I'm looking forward that government support bitcoin in the future.

the best thing they could learn from BTC is the work of the current economy, the demand and supply game and lastly the most important thing: to think like an investor, not a worker. Because so many education places rise children and youth to be new skillful workers for other they don`t prepare them to be entrepreneurs.

Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC?

You should explain them the benefits of accepting Bitcoins as payment. Your transactions cannot be traced by government and so your income will be tax free.Payments once you got through bitcoin  cannot be replaced to customers. You should explain these benefits. Rather you could show them video documentaries about bitcoin to make them understand easily.

If you haven't bought bitcoins, I will tell you that today is a good time to buy them. The bitcoin price is going down now. It hits $9000.
If you have money, you can buy now. In early year, bitcoin price shows a decreasing line. However don't get panic immediately if later you find the price gets lower. Just keep holding and believe that in the middle of the year the price is going to go skyrocket.

The best place to use bitcoin at is on the exchanges and buying altcoins.  If your goal is to accumulate more Bitcoin, trade them in and out of alts until you x10 your stash.   Wink Wink

I don't understand why you think the HF chain (Eth) is the legit chain and that is extra money.
Eth is extra money that emerged from hard forking to bail out their asses in a banker's way. Just the notion of a team controlling which chain is legitimate is wrong.

How can you exist in the crypto world without understanding these concepts? Go back to your stock market

Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2?
by
Tomas.H
on 16/04/2018, 08:12:01 UTC
There are few possibilities at the moment,
and it seems that as time goes by it becomes harder to get that amount in a short period of time.
A few years ago, for example, the best way was mining. At the moment, I think trading is the way.
To get that return in a month, you'll probably need a high initial investment.
To get such gains in two months, then the necessary investment will certainly be something more moderate.
The most important thing, IMO, is the knowledge of the market, that's necessary to make better decisions,
and it's also necessary an understanding of techniques that make it possible to perform the trades efficiently, at the right time.

Re: Are you long term or short term?
by
Tomas.H
on 16/04/2018, 07:50:15 UTC
That actually depends on the coin/token that I am holding but I am more on long term hodler due to the fact that I am only holding small amount of invesment I will set a target price whatever the amount of time will take I will surely sell it on my target but for those that I got in airdrop and some bounty once I see that it is pumping I will release it immediately.

Re: How to sell my house?
by
Tomas.H
on 16/04/2018, 07:41:03 UTC
I wouldn't suggest you to sell something like your house, something that is very important for your living , for bitcoins.

Bitcoin is very risky investment, and unless you have an extra house, I guess that you can't really afford to lose your house.

Always consider risk management, and have a plan B, if bitcoin goes down, do you have somewhere to live?
That's the question you should be asking yourself.

So remove the faucet from the equation, do you really think that selling the coins on a daily biding is the best solution, I mean even me, that don't have much experience can realize the opportunities that this method open for a guy or a group of guys with some economical power, to take control of the coin price, that would be even worse that the problem with the guys hiring slaves to captcha-mine the coins from the faucet.
People need to be able to spend this coin in something otherwise they will keep dumping it for BTC. This is the real problem now even de DEV want to get BTC for his Mrai (I'm not saying this is wrong) but following that road will make this coin just one more pump and dump game for the big players.
Look the coin is cool, transactions are in real time just for 2 or 3 second of high cpu usage that is a huge improvement in this medium, in the short time I have been in crypto I have tried at least 100 different wallets and this is the more efficient and simple that I have used, beside is something new not a fork with some "cool new feature".
You have a lot off potential here and they are being pale for a bad decision on the distribution, just put a faucet like a bitcoin faucet that give you bitcoins but don't worth the time spent that way you get rid of the faucet problem if you want I can take care of every single person that post "when the faucet will be up again" I spend the whole day in the computer so it would not be a problem to do that, and if the dev want to earn money he can sell packets of coins at a fixed price so people can spend it knowing exactly the value of what they are spending not buying some service for 100 Mrai just to see the next day the price went to 0.01 BTC and realize he just spend to much.
