Re: [ANN] -NEW BURST OP- MINE ANY FREE SPACE-(HDD MINING)- ATs, AE, P2P MARKET+MORE!

Is db.burst-team.us meant to be down? My pools BURST wallet found its way onto a fork and I need to resync but the always-up-to-date-blockchain isn't there, hoping I don't have to resync from genesis!

Online wallet says it's on a fork also but I mean balance and blocks look correct, so not sure what's causing the problem  Roll Eyes

Db.burst-team.us is back up and I've been able to resync, at the appropriate block now. This is the second time in the last two weeks my wallets found its way onto a fork, has something changed in 1.2.6?

Could TomPool please be re-added to the pool list? Not sure why it dropped off but its at:

http://mining.tompool.org:82

Running v2 with wallet 1.2.4.

Sure, we can add that for you. It must have been missed, there are a few other pools that need added as well, at least on one of the OPs. I'll make sure this is done for you. Thanks!

Thanks! FYI up-to-date running 1.2.5.

So my pools on block 1 152 443, http://netexplorer.coin-server.com is on block 1 137 898 and https://prohashing.com/explorer/Netcoin is on block 1 158 916... which block count is correct? There are multiple forks around with 10+ connections on each fork!

So after block 555 555 we'll see the standard difficulty number or will it still be between 0 and 1? How do we get a comparable scrypt difficulty?

The standard difficulty will from now on be always between 1 and 0. This is what the PID is programmed to use, and is the target requested by the block at the tip.
1 is the lowest difficulty.
The more leading zero there is after the decimal separator, the more difficult it is to find a block.
The lower the significant figure, at constant number of leading zero, the more difficult it is.
Difficulty zero will never happen, but could be displayed if hashrate reach thousands of GH/s, because in fact the difficulty as displayed by getdifficulty is just a troncated representation of the minimum hexadecimal target to find the block at the tip of the chain, which is a 256 bit number.

I am sure people will get habituated, meanwhile just use the reciprocal, ie 1/difficulty to get an idea.

Otherwise, your miner program will display the difficulty in the reciprocal format.

Ok... so to compare ANC difficulty to other scrypt coins?

Running the latest wallet synced to the same block as https://prohashing.com/explorer/Anoncoin but my wallet is reporting 0.00000135 difficulty?

Since I update to v0.9.6.11-eaf7af2 I am seeing the same thing for all the blocks.

getmininginfo
{
"blocks" : 538434,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 0.00000135,
"errors" : "This is a HARDFORK build for block 555555",
"genproclimit" : -1,
"networkhashps" : 3302921396,
"pooledtx" : 1,
"chain" : "main",
"generate" : false
}

Hi,

Yes that is right. The difficulty displayed is a difficulty number between 0 and 1, relative to the minimum difficulty equal to 1, which becomes more difficult the smaller it is.

So after block 555 555 we'll see the standard difficulty number or will it still be between 0 and 1? How do we get a comparable scrypt difficulty?

Hi all,

Is there some info around about pool setup? Is it possible to run BitSend on an MPOS pool based on NOMP?

Yes this is possible.

https://aikapool.com/bsd/index.php?page=statistics&action=pool

Any info on setup or is it the usual closed shop?

I am having a serious brain fart amigo,,
It has been a while since I last checked the pool and I cannot remember the PW.

user is hitndahedfred
What do I need to do? There is no reset PW option available

Thanks
This is one of the most reliable pools I have used in nearly 8 years of mining.
PM me if ya need any verification to prove identity.

Reset and sent to your email :-)

I sent some EAC from my local wallet about 12 days ago, the wallet is in sync with earthchain.info and has 21 connections. Only problem is the send transaction still shows as having 0 confirmations and it isn't showing on the block explorer.

Has anyone seen this before? Is there a way to force the transaction through or get it to try again?

Not sure if this has been pointed out yet so shoot me down if it has Tongue

I've just done the username/password/pin changes but isn't there a fatal flaw in how this is done? The whole reason we're all changing our details is due to the database being breached and presumably usernames/password were accessed. Therefore the hackers could potentially access our accounts when services are returned to normal as they have our login details.

So now, to secure your account you need to login with your old details and update them, once done there is no confirmation email, you're in your account. Great, but aren't we assuming the hackers stole this information so therefore could login before us and access our account? To me it seems like a strange way to reset account details.

Is anyone good at tracing BTC transactions? Its been a while but I thought I'd revisit this and I've seen the BTC moved in January:

https://blockchain.info/address/1EEERRbx4v6TNxgHJNthgroKBQLhehgdRt

Wouldn't mind knowing where it went, if its gone to an exchange there might be something to trace.
