It is difficult to filter out... You never know for sure that what you are currently doing. There are plenty of fake projects that you can be aware of when you are attentive.

If I were you, I would shape my portfolio to keep my investments in more cryptocurrency. This reduces your risk of losing money. I certainly would not choose, also invest in all of the three cryptocurrency.

Look .. I think in today's world there is just a few risk-free investment. If a good hacker wants to break up something he will, for example your bank account or your facebook profile .. The cryptocurrency has also some risk but who dares usually win.

I think it will not disappear and it will be strengthened again but this is a difficult question. The market is unpredictable recently. So I'm hoping that the exchange price will go up again and it will stand stable.

Re: the benefits of managing bitcoin

I think it is hard to ignore the dollar value of Bitcoin, but still, if it is going to the "wrong" direction, I always think of the fundamentals, how useful Bitcoin is in some countries, and what it can achieve in the future. I see it will have a great future.

Re: Is Bitcoin a Digital Gold??
by

on 15/10/2018, 07:39:00 UTC
I agree calling Bitcoin the digital gold. It was created to be a currency, that is true, and it can function as one, but for the majority, it is a store of value, a speculative investment, a "safe" asset, where money can be put (especially in countries where inflation rates are crazy high)

Re: US or China: Who do you think will legalize bitcoin first?
by

If I have to choose, than USA. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, which is very far away from a communist country, who actually keeps the value of national currency low purposely, to support export.

As I know, Bitcoin consumes more energy, than my whole country. Yes, it is a problem, but not sure, if it could be changeda, as it also makes the system secure IMO.

Re: How do you honestly feel about the recent bitcoin drop?
by

I have neutral feelings, I do not consider this drop too big deal. 10% price change in one day is OK, 20+% is more scary, for me at least, I have seen a lot.

As I heard, in some countries in Asia there are many places, where they accept Bitcoin for payment, unfortunately, where I live, I am not aware of any. Volatility is still a problem, even it is getting smaller.

Good the see, that the interest of people for cryptocurrencies increase in South America too. Venezuela, Columbia, brazil.. On the other hand, if people have to buy crypto, because their national currency is hyper inflating, it is not that good.

Re: Banks will always be against cryptocurrencies?
by

Banks can not make decisions very efficiently IMO, and accepting crypto is such a big step, that it probably won't happen from one day to another. Especially now, when the regulations are so hazy yet.

I consider it as a success story, all together you gained some money, since you have entered the market. Of course people can always say, I could have done better, but as long as we don't know the future, all we can do is make reasonable choices.

Re: ICO price and Listing price
by
TontomHit
on 11/10/2018, 07:18:26 UTC
Bounty hunters should definitely care about ICO price. But sometimes, it is not easy to tell, what exactly was the ICO price. For example, we can say 0,5$, but if Ethereum was pledged at 1000$, the 0,5$ is not really true.

I am a big fan of Ethereum, and also believe it has a bright future, so with the current price, it is quite tempting to buy, for me at least.

This bearmarket is not easy, non for investors, and neither for ICOs, trying to create something. Bounties are good for for them to make an efficient marketing, and sometimes they need more marketing, thats why extend Smiley

I also like ICOs, and have the faith, that we need them, because continous development is the key of the success of cryptocurrencies in my opinion.
