Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin?
by

The best place for you to invest long time beside bitcoin is ethereum. It is the second best coin in the market and undoubtedly the best altcoin so if you are putting your money here you can be sure that your money is in a very good project and the coins you are holding have every potential to do very well in the long run.

If you are planning for the down market then you should know to buy coins when the market is down, avoid panic selling and make sure that you are holding all of the coins that you have bought so far. The down market can be very brutal so be ready for the worst.

Re: Your worst investment decision this year

This year has been a year to forget for cryptocurrency investors.from the hopes and aspirations in January to the frustrations and regrets of August. What has been ur worst investment this year?

I would say that my worst decision that I have made so far this year was to invest in deeponion at the point that I did. I should have known that a coin like that was going to crash but I got caught in the hype and after I invested the price of the coin plummeted costing me a lot in value.

Re: TIME TO SELL AND TIME TO HOLD
by

on 04/10/2018, 12:17:53 UTC
Yes there is a time to sell and there is a time to hold. the time to sell was in january when the market was still in a bull but not now. Now is the time to buy coins and hold for the long term. If you do not have patience and the will to hodl the coins for a long time before selling them then you will end up not making any money from the coin

It is possible to save the cryptos, that is where holding comes in. You save your cryptos and make sure that you are the only one that has access to your private keys and what ever information that involved in accessing your wallets. As long as you are the only one that knows your private key then you have nothing to worry about

Re: Are you selective when you participating in ICOs?
by

on 02/10/2018, 21:59:33 UTC
Very selective. Before it was not so and I did not put much thought into the coin I am investing in before I put my money because I knew that I could trust majprity of the projects but now there are so many scams that the reverse is the case and I know that I cannot trust majority of the projects, so careful checks.

It would be wise to invest in the coins now that you are actually thinking about investing. You could be putting it off and end up waiting for longer than expected and by then it might be that the price of the coins have gone up by then. Buy now when you see that the market is in the red before we start to go into another recovery.

Re: Cryptocurrency in Five years, what should we be expecting?
by
Tooevilforyou
on 25/09/2018, 05:11:25 UTC
I've been involved with crypto investments, ICO Airdrops and bounty programs, I have a couple of tokens which anyone can call shitcoins, but looking at the crypto space in few years from now (say 5 years) would it be right to say that some shitcoins would eventually turn to something huge for instance Dogecoin (Doge), NETKOIN (NTK), Obitanchain(OBTC) and the rest?

We should be expecting more adoption of coins like bitcoin and ethereum but in five years, then we should all be expecting to see a market with less scam coins as most of them would have outlived their usefulness by then and run out. There will be better prices though thats for sure because the market gets better with time.

Re: Will Altcoin be as important as Bitcoin?
by
Tooevilforyou
on 20/09/2018, 20:34:30 UTC
In any ecosystem, be it in nature or business, there is always a competition. And most often than not, the best always rises to the top. And here in our crypto ecosystem, a competition do also exist. Between Bitcoin and Altcoin. We all very well known that bitcoin, being the first and most proven cryptocurrency already took the center stage in crypto market. Now that altcoins came into the picture, where does it really stands? What will be the selling point of altcoin that will eventually led the bitcoin enthusiasts to finally switch places?

They already are, as good as bitcoin is there is always the fact that there is a supply issue and with that we would always need altcoins to pick up the slack and bridge the gap that bitcoin leaves. Maybe bitcoin will always be the most valuable coin in the market but there will always be the altcoins that are really important too

I disagree to an extent, yes if everyone is holding then the price will not go up but that does not mean that holding is a bad way to make money, that is how I have made the majority of the money I have made from the market and I remain a holder. I just think that we should all use some part of our holdings as currencies to keep the market moving

Re: So, Crypto Market ALL RED Again!!
by
Tooevilforyou
on 13/09/2018, 22:07:54 UTC
Today All Crypto market get RED again!
I dont know why, may be nobody knows. What is going on people?!!

All top 10 coins decrease around 5%. ETH traded at $430, BTC at $7700.
I think ETH may continue dumping while BTC will stop dumping at $73xx then great again.

Yea this is what we are going to be seeing for a while, it is not surprising, people cannot keep panic selling their coins and expect not to have some kind of backlash later, this is the backlash, the coins are falling, they are going to be in the red for maybe a couple of months then we will start seeing the prices picking back up.

Re: Don't invest In Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies!
by
Tooevilforyou
on 12/09/2018, 23:57:44 UTC
Title was just to bring the attention of Those who are thinking of investing money in bitcoin or any other crypto currency.

A few things you must keep in your mind before investing in Bitcoin or any other crypto currency:

1.Make sure you have read the whitepaper of bitcoin or the currency you are thinking to put money in.
2.Crypto currencies are not just for making money.
3.There are no guarantees of profit.
4.You can loose all your money so invest only what you can afford to loose.
5. Don't panic when market fluctuates because its not only you who is controlling the market.
6.Do not buy and sell in FOMO(Fear of missing out) & FUD(Fear, Uncertainty and doubt).
7.Take opinions but Do your own research before taking any decision.
8.Do not forget to check the bitcoin forum to know more about that project.
9.Last and the most important: Patience is the key.

These are really good advice, investing in cryptocurrencies is not an easy thing and there are rules to it just like any other market. You have to be smart about the coins you are buying and the kind of coins that you are buying into. There are always risks involved in investing in the coins, you just have to pick a good one to invest in.

Re: Would There Be Enough Room in the Future for all these Digital Currencies?
by
Tooevilforyou
on 06/09/2018, 20:16:37 UTC
The world of cryptocurrencies truly fascinates me. How can it not? I’ve never seen so many people this excited about the concept of virtual currency before. Even the dialogues in this forum are very dynamic and of course, informative (I might have picked a few tips here and there Smiley). I know these coins have proven to be very good investments and I’ve read so many success stories already about people making a huge profit out of this.
But would there be enough space for all these ICOs and coins to co-exist? Do we need this many coins? Or are you foreseeing a future where we will be using only one virtual currency?

There certainly will not be enough room for all of them, yes we need altcoins but we really do not need this much altcoins and that is the truth. A lot of them are going to die out along the way. There will be instances of creators leaving their coins, people moving on from coins because they are useless so a bunch of them will just die out really.

Re: myetherwallet not send tokens

After I try to send the tokens, I get this error "(error_36) Input address is not checksummed. What does that mean?" and does not send tokens. Has anyone encountered this problem? can anyone knows the solution.

You need to make sure that you filled out all of the required fields or else the transaction will not go through. Also you should check to make sure that you have enough gas to make the transaction. Sending tokens tends to take more gas then sending eth so you might want to increase the gas price. Or maybe it is juts a system error.

Re: You should be carefull of what ICO your going to invest with!

how sure you are of what ico are you going to put your money to get a lot of profit with, can anyone give me some advise to know what ico is going to be a successfull in the end if their campaign?

There is no definite way for anyone to tell you which icos are going to do good at the end of their ico. The fact is that people are just going to give you the project that they already have a stake in since they are just looking for people to get in on the project too. look at icos yourself, do research and make your own decision.

Re: ICOs Created a Strong 44% Downtrend for Ether in 14 Days
by
Tooevilforyou
on 30/08/2018, 17:40:39 UTC
Within a period of just 2 weeks (August 1 — August 14), the price of Ether, the native crypto of Ethereum network, plunged by 44%. In two weeks, the price of Ethereum dropped from $470 to $260, marking its lowest point this year by plummeting below the $300 mark for its first time since early November last year.

The whole Crypto market faced a sharp decline in real valuation, losing almost $150 billion of its real valuation in within a month. However, Ether, which performed particularly well against the US dollar over other bull Cryptos such as Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash, easily turned out to be one of the worst performing Cryptos in August.

Read the details in the article of Coinidol dot com, the world blockchain news outlet: https://coinidol.com/icos-created-a-strong-44-downtrend-for-ether-in-14-days/

https://coinidol.com/upload/resize_cache/iblock/739/900_900_1/7396855ec1795da3a6c5e8ef2c129c14.png

I don't think that people understand how much ICOs are negatively affecting the prices of other coins especially the price of ethereum. The only reason that ethereum has been in a downtrends when the rest of the market has been holding up well is because of the ICOs which are all basically scam coins by the way. And it will take a while before it gets better.

Re: ICOs are too expensive
by
Tooevilforyou
on 29/08/2018, 19:01:42 UTC
Here is something I have observed as regard ICOs raising funds and why many are trading at below ICO price soon after listing on exchanges. The reason could well be the fact that project teams are making ICO tokens too expensive, almost at same level with what we had at the bullish market.Meanwhile, the market is now 25% of its usually market.
Project teams implement better funds management strategies, avoid wastages and unnecessary  expense and thus have a cheaper ICO, I personally believe that they can reduce their expense by at least 50 percent and thus ask for less, cheaper tokens as such, that way, investors will be better make returns on their investments.

They are which is why you see that the money that they are going for are always very high. Once they have better strategies like you said then they would not be using os much but then again, it could be intentional that they are doing that just so that they can have an excuse to try to raise higher amounts of money

Re: Right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins ?
by

It is the right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins. Look now we are in a bear and the coins are all in the red, if you buy the coins now then you would be buying at really cheap prices. It is basically a sale right now, it is a buyer's dream. If there are coins that you have being interested in investing in then you should be buying them now.

Re: Time to move to BTC
by
Tooevilforyou
on 21/08/2018, 17:23:47 UTC
I think to have a bull market up-coming is the best way to move all the money that you have in altcoins to bitcoin, because with market dominance of Bitcoin the market will go green, and the bull run with start, as far as I am concerned from the previous experience of the bull run more than 55% bitcoin was dominant in the market.
Suggestions?

Yes you are right. People do not seem to realize that the only way that we are going to have another bull market is if the price of bitcoin goes up and everyone moving out from bitcoin does not help matters. We need to move back into bitcoin and make sure that a huge percentage of the money in the market is concentrated in btc if we want to see another bull.

Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites?
by
Tooevilforyou
on 20/08/2018, 10:36:07 UTC
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?

I will never trust what anyone else says to me about a coin, when you realize the power of money and the fact that everyone has a price that is when you start to learn to do things yourself instead of listening to what other people have to say and investing your money accordingly. the only research i trust in this market is the one I did myself.
