Re: TAXI TOKEN - The decentralized taxi service on a BlockChain platform

Have you seen the video of the accident? Shot right from the Uber car. This poor woman didn't have a single chance. And in this particular case it is obviously doesn't matter who was the driver.

Could you please share a link to that video so we can see it? Thanks.

Sure, here you go:

Well, basically if I am going to cross the dark road without reflective elements on my clothes, I have to be ready to get hit by a car.

Darkness is not an excuse for self-driving vehicle which is equipped with infrared sensors. This is a terrible tragedy.

Indeed. You can't expect everyone to cross streets with reflective elements. Be honest, do you always have reflective elements on your clothes when you go for a walk during the evening? I don't at all.

At least you have to understand the importance of wearing of brightly coloured clothing and reflective materials on clothing to make pedestrians very visible during the hours of darkness. That's basic principles of road safety.

Re: teach your children about bitcoin

hello guys , i just want to share what am i doing right now to my children, i have a 10 year old kid , he is david . this coming summer i want to teach him about cryptocurrency. especially bitcoin, from his young age i want to share him my knowledge about this kind of things. im happy that he is excited a little bit however it's so hard to explain but then i use some examples like video games as a reference about bitcoin. probably it might be the easiet way to understand how this things works. for example bitcoin is like a video games, you need to do a lot of research about bitcoin to know it and ask some people what  they know about bitcoin or  like experiences  , like games you need to do a lot of practice to mastered the games , can someone help me about this ?

It is nice if your child will have basic knowledge about cryptocurrency. Another issue is that it's not the most necessary knowledge he can get while he is 10 years old. Maybe it would be better to go fishing together for example?

Re: Making 1% Daily
by
Tory26
on 24/03/2018, 10:29:15 UTC
Hello,

Would it be possible to make 1% of your capital every day?

This would be 30% in a month, this is a lot.

It really comes to your capital:

1% of 100 would be 1$ daily, so 30$ on a month.
1% of 1000 would be 10$ daily, so 300$ month.
...

Is trying aiming at 1% daily too much? to ambitious?

If all goes well, I mean if you'll catch a growing trend, your plan won't be too ambitious. This strategy may work in certain circumstances.

Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon?
by
Tory26
on 24/03/2018, 10:25:02 UTC
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

Bitcoin can never overtake dollar, not even in future as dollar is considered to be the king of currency and it's not easy for bitcoin to replace such a strong currency like dollar.

Re: Merit is so unfair

Isn't it so unfair for the people who is new here? That will be struggling making such as good quality post so they could be given a merit by someone. I know all of you is having a hard time thinking what are you going to post such as good quality.

It is really hard to have a merit it is because as far as I know:
People are selfish. Even though you post a really good quality post still there is a people who won't give you a merit.
Some are alone. Like me, I don't really have much friend who would give me a free merit. I know that it is easy to have a merit with a friend that have an account of bitcointalk.

My question is. Why still need merit? We are still struggling to rank because of the merit.

Agreed! It seems impossible to publish something which will be noticed by smerit sources   Cry

All traders are faced with unfulfilled expectations. There is no chance that everyone who joined crypto will become rich, only the most persistent traders cross the finish line of huge earnings.

Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

If you want to invest crypto you have to know something - don't invest all your money in bitcoin, try to diversify your investment to minimize the risk and maximize the profits, you will be super rich if all  products performs to their expected level. But an any case, the real estate will be more stable that any other option.

Hello my dear Bitcoin brothers.

I would like to ask you about your experience with day/swing trading vs. long term investing and also,
what was more profitable for you and what are pros and cons for both ways of trading?

This question interests me since market is very volatile and it can get quite easy to exploit daily range for a quick small profit.

Thank you fellas.

Bitcoin long-term investment could be huge business for you. Is it reasonable to risk your BTC amount with trading on the short-term?

Panic selling has alot of effect on the price of bitcoin. What makes the price is selling and buying so whenever these events happen the prices tend to swing.
The best is for people to hold their BTCs. This way we will only have price increases as more investors start to show interest.

Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes
by
Tory26
on 13/03/2018, 13:22:31 UTC
This is a mistake a lot of us make. If you track btc every minute you are more prone to panic selling. Btc has a lot of ups and downs, if you are in it long term the short price has little meaning
Checking the price every minutes is stressful and of course leads to rash decisions and panic sells. If you are the long term with BTC then you can track it 9-10 times per day.

You won't track BTC every minute if you won't have BTC. Think about it  Shocked
But seriously, only the willpower could help you in this situation.

Re: Patience and Holding
by

Ive been wrong that i withdraw all my earnings on trading ..
i learned that ..must have patience in holding then exchanging it times 10 from the day I bought my alts..
hmm .. too bad for me now bitcoins is still aiming high ..

Sometimes, patience is not as good as you think. There are likely thousands of coins around the internet and not all of them are good. Some will always decrease the price and the longer you hold them, the more money you will lose. And being patient in this situation will cost you a huge amount of money.
