you can generate legacy addresses that start with '1' by opening the bitcoin.conf file and adding the following line:

addresstype=legacy

Now restart the Bitcoin-qt executable. Now all new receive addresses will start with a '1'

You can open the bitcoin.conf file by going to  "settings"->"Options" and click on "Open Configuration File"

you said that you relaunched the coin for the reason that some haxxor found a glitch. that you combine it with some capital increase, aka Premine  Wink Wink Wink Wink Wink
you plan so well, i had expect that you have more accurate infos on these few million here or there,  .or about distribution.

very accurate metrics can be found in the blockchain.

Please delist BTCV from your exchange; you are confusing your customers and making them very angry. All other exchanges understand the situation, have been provided a swap, and are using the latest BitcoinV release.

yes, many have been mined early. About 1.5 million were used for swapping. Another million are being used for listing on Finexbox and a soon to be announced exchange and future exchanges. Spreading BTCV to more exchanges is one way BTCV will continue to grow for the community.
If BitcoinV did not mine enough in the beginning, there was no other way to provide a swap.

Its funny the whole chain was restarted due a "hacker" or 51% attack or whatever, no proof of what happened since all evidence are deleted Cry

A years worth of mining gone by a centralized action.
No github history, and developer "nullfunctor" account also reset with no history.

https://github.com/bitcoinVBR/bitcoinV/issues/1
Where is the git history? What is changed in code? How did the attack happen? #1

yes, that link has good info on what happened. The code has been updated to prevent such an attack again. The code can easily be diffed again the latest Bitcoin release to find the differences; no smoke and mirrors here. There are still old nodes out there running out in the wild with the "proof" of what happened. The VBR feature can only be enabled once the network difficulty reaches at least 16 Billion now. This means that there is a healthy amount of mining and the ability of miners to try and mine for the large block payout; not get the large block payout every block like the attacker was able to do with the old code. All exchanges and pools and individuals have had there coin swapped. This version of BitcoinV is ready to stand the test of time now.

BTCV is now listed on unnamed.exchange
https://www.unnamed.exchange/Exchange?market=BTCV_BTC

This is good, but there is no reason to require 200 confirmations, especially when the coin has a difficulty level of 500 Million and has never been 51% attacked. Graviex and Sistemkoin only require 6 confirmations.

Re: Bitcoin Vault coin. is it a scam?
by
ToshiKonami
on 25/07/2020, 02:04:53 UTC
BitcoinVault is a scam, read here:

https://twitter.com/bitcoin_v/status/1286649416854786051

BitcoinVault blockchain consensus rejects any address that isn't controlled by the developers. They don't tell the community this, so when someone tries to solo mine or set up their own pool to mine BitcoinVault, their block will ALWAYS be rejected. Only the developers have the private key to the allowed addresses. This is a true scam.

BitcoinV is the real BTCV and existed before BitcoinVault. BitcoinV aims at being a more decentralized form of Bitcoin via its Variable Block Rewards which should form more SOLO miners over time. BitcoinVault's approach is centralized mining that is controlled by the dev.

In short, stay away from BitcoinVault!

You know a coin is going NOWHERE when the first post talks about the price they want it to get to after x time frame.

Any serious project will talk solely about what they have done and what they are doing.

DO NOT INVEST IN THIS SHIT COIN. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Very well said, this is a big SHIT COIN.

⭐ Merited by estenity (1)
is BTCV a fork of bitcoin ?

BitcoinV (BTCV) is always BTC with the Variable Block Rewards (VBR) feature added. VBR feature is merged into the latest BTC code at various BTC release intervals.

Graviex has updated their wallet to the latest iBTC code:

https://github.com/NullFunctor/iBTC/releases/tag/v0.19.1.2_final

All mining pools and users must update their wallets to this version if they want to be on the latest chain and have access to the iBTC Graviex wallet.

Rename your existing .iBTC folder to .iBTC_OLD prior to running the new iBTC node.

Hi,
We've added iBTC (IBTC) to http://zpool.ca/ sha256. See below for connection details.

Fee only: 0.5% or less
BTC payouts are processed once a day for balances above 0.0025
Payouts for all other currencies are made automatically every 4 hours for balances above 0.05 and balances more than 0.0125 are included in one of the payouts each day.

- Sample configurations -
To mine and get paid in IBTC:
Code:
-a sha256 -o stratum+tcp://sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333 -u IBTC_ADDRESS -p c=IBTC,zap=IBTC

Exchange to BTC:
Code:
-a sha256 -o stratum+tcp://sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333 -u BTC_ADDRESS -p c=BTC
Exchange to BTC but mine only IBTC:
Code:
-a sha256 -o stratum+tcp://sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333 -u BTC_ADDRESS -p c=BTC,zap=IBTC

All of our ports are NiceHash friendly, no need to specify any extra details

We also provide stratum servers in:
Europe:
Code:
sha256.eu.mine.zpool.ca:3333
South East Asia:
Code:
sha256.sea.mine.zpool.ca:3333
Japan:
Code:
sha256.jp.mine.zpool.ca:3333

Need hashpower? zpool’s sister provides hash rental services: http://hashtap.ca/

==============================

Support: https://discord.gg/n45n6Jj
Twitter: https://twitter.com/_zpool_

What are some of the IP addresses we can use for the wallet to connect to iBTC?

What is ZPOOL's node ip address?
connect="Huh"

Re: MINERIUM COIN is a JOKE
by
ToshiKonami
on 31/05/2020, 17:03:41 UTC
You know Minerium is a JOKE when they put the MAX amount of coins in their code as "666", the devil's sign - LOL

https://github.com/MINERIUM-COIN/minerium/blob/master/src/amount.h

Line 32:
static const CAmount MAX_MONEY = 666000000 * COIN;

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS JOKE OF A COIN

If you want Masternodes, go buy DASH, not this coin.

First of all saying this thing about the devil.is very immature.

Secondly, amount.h is irrevelant for the max money because when nSubsidy is specified in validation.cpp,  amount.h and max supply are ignored for the max amount of coins, and are only used as a reference to avoid any confusion between the project and the coin it's been forked from, exactly like the message prefix in chainparams.cpp

So if you want to know the amount of the max supply, do the maths with all coins in validation.cpp at nSubidy.

Once again, you did not read everything that has been said about the project, like everywhere.. discord, official website, whitepaper, this topic at first message.

https://mineriumcoin.com/block_rewards.png

Next time you try to play the smart guy to FUD a project, be sure to know what you're talking about.
Because for now you just look an idiot lol. You act like you know everything, while you don't.

Go FUD somewhere else kid. No matter hard you try to destroy it, the project will still exist and have success, with or without you.
What's up in your life? You are bored in your small appartment, no girlfriend, no friends at all, nobody likes you so you'd like to destroy somebody else? Come on lol..

Go make another BTCV fork and dump your own project again that's all you can do

You sound kind of upset SHIIFT i hope you dont fall into their money scheme trap Wink

Yes, he is very upset and the project is dead. They will probably try and create a new coin to start a new scam.

I just started to read about this coin and have one question, what stops someone from setting his reward multiplier really really low to make sure he has a extreme amount of chance to be the winner and so is able to mess with the blockchain?
The lowest multiplier is x1. This is the same as BTC. You can't set the multiplier to a multiplier less than 1, thus you can't mess with the block chain. The difficulty of finding a block is the same or harder than BTC code.

DONT TRUST THIS SCAM COIN MINERIUM
by
ToshiKonami
on 09/05/2020, 15:37:31 UTC
----DONT TRUST THIS SCAM COIN MINERIUM----

Developers create a FAKE Whitepaper that claims 51% attacks resistant.

https://mineriumcoin.com/assets/Minerium_white-paper.pdf

I watch other members on Telegram question them on explaining how it is 51% attack resistant. The dev keeps avoiding to answer how the coin is 51% attacks resistant.

These are false claims to try and trick the public into buying their SCAM COIN.

Stay away from this coin. If you are interested in crypto, stick to the top 25 cryptos, not this SCAM COIN MINERIUM.
