Frankly, I think it is stupid of them to create another coin when they already have success with the one they have. Why not add more value to what they already have instead of steering traffic away from it to something else?
I think it is nothing more than a money grab.
It would be really stupid if they created another coin with the same ideology behind it. But I'll take that the 'X' stands for exchange and that is NOT what bcc currently offers.

I personally threw $200 in. If I lose I knew the risk.

At the end of the day it boils down to the user and if you have some spare change you wouldnt go nuts in case you lose it, then I'd say go for it.
