Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold?
by
Toxic_1988
on 03/09/2020, 19:47:08 UTC
It can be more valuable in terms of the system and the integration of it, but in terms of economy, gold surely has much more potential and popularity than crypto because gold is widely accepted while the crypto isn't but in the near future if the crypto becomes accepted and all of the people began to know the potential and the advantage you will get when it comes to crypto it will surely becomes more valuable.
Being universal accepted and used is what every crypto dream to be and this is why gold is more valuable than crypto. Supply level is fixed or Transparent as OP said mean nothing when it isn't able to get the ultimate goal: universal accepted.

Re: New exchange tokens worth investing on???

I'm sure you will have a better profit if you invest in normal crypto aka altcoin instead of playing safe by invest in exchange token. In my opinion, those exchanges don't have a lot of rooms to grow more, the same with their exchange tokens. While smaller exchange and their token could yield better profit but very risky unless you got an insider in those sites. If not, don't gamble.

Re: Crypto Become Universal Money?
by

Yes, why do you think many people try to hold and invest in crypto? Because they also believe that one day, crypto will become the future cashless payment for daily use, being accepted as universal money in many countries. That is why they invested early.

Re: Sports Industry taking over the Crypto space

I wonder how they plan to utilize crypto to the sport like football? I know there is a gambling application but is there anything else? The sports industry must have more applications to utilize crypto to actually use to incorporate it into their ecosystem.

I'm looking for a good portfolio tracker which supports most defi tokens and all major cryptocurrencies. Suggest one and reason why it is best suited for you.
I use a spare smart phone and make it as my main device for checking price or tracking my portfolio. Installed with a Delta app on it and I'm quite happy about the setup. I think I'm not alone and there are a lot guy make a setup like me with either smartphone or tablet.

Usually, you don't buy or invest in a coin that only one or two exchange since the risk of getting delist or like in your case, got hacked and gone is too high. Please planing your investment carefully next time and stay with a coin at least have a steady amount of trading from many exchanges.

Re: Reason hunters dump reward as soon as received. Trust Exchange etc
by
Toxic_1988
on 23/08/2020, 19:26:06 UTC
in my experiences, they dumped it because of panic. i have joined some bounty in the past, some project give a big bonuses for investors. when they get listed on the market and start to trade, the bounty hunters still didn't get theirs reward yet. the team still hold it and let the investors sell it first. then, the investors sell their bonuses first and hold the rest of their coins or token that they've bought for later. when the price is little dumped, the reward was distributed to bounty hunters. they all panic. they think the price will get more dumped and sold it immediately after distribution. then, it just make it worst. the price is dumped really hard.
Interesting point of view. But I'm still wondering how a couple of hundred people with 1-2% of tokens can move the price?
No, of course for bounty, they can't cause a crash or trigger a dump with 1-2% come from the bounty. But for investors? Yes, the investors can if they able to get a hold of plenty of coins at the early stage through mining or private sale for funding.

The highest I got in 2019-2020 for the bounty project is $200 from a signature bounty. Other than that, most just low pay with $5-10 per bounty. No one seen to be popular bounty managers nowadays so you should treat every bounty project with caution.

Re: Do you believe in crypto ratings?
by
Toxic_1988
on 23/08/2020, 14:13:20 UTC
Let be honest, crypto ratings are outdated and weren't in its prime time anymore. When ICO and new projects pop up everywhere around 2017, yes we need some crypto ratings to remove low-tier project but today, crypto ratings weren't useful anymore so you don't need to care about them or different between each crypto rating agency.

by

You had a very nice idea tho I don't think any project wants to do that unless there is strong pressure from everyone, not just bounty hunters alone. Why paying a fee to conduct bounty aka escrow as long as no one can force them to do that?

Re: How to know if the project is fake?
by
Toxic_1988
on 17/08/2020, 13:28:05 UTC
You are right. There are several ways to identify a fake project. However, I think. In a fake project, the team always uses fake locations and the team's name and address are all fake.Besides, the volume of their investment in the exchange is also fake. Most of their social media information is very enticing.
How can you tell if it's fake locations? Will you book your plane ticket and go to that country to check? Just check out the project team and product, I believe you will know whether they are legit or scam.
Well, you don't have to do that. There is plenty of detective service to check in a local location for people from abroad. But many projects don't have a headquarter location or they could list something vague and not in detail. I think there are many ways to identify the legitimacy of a project, team information also one of that.

Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment
by
Toxic_1988

No matter who you are or how smart you are as a bounty hunter, there will come few times when you will choose or promote the wrong projects that won't earn you any penny, escrow can't fixed this, crap tokens will still come around

At least the escrow provides certainty to the hunters that the reward token has been held by the bounty manager. Regardless of whether the price fell when listing, I think it's a different matter. There are many campaigns that process payments to old hunters, even the projects die and in my opinion escrow provides comfort to hunters to promote the new project.
I participated in many campaigns use escrow, at the end of the campaign I still received those tokens. But they are never listed on exchanges, and I only get these useless tokens. What we need to hope for is their project to be successful and listed on exchanges
At least, you got the coin instead of some promise about 'we will distribute at xx time'. Escrow help to let bounty hunter receive payment, whatever it worthless, don't list on an exchange or has a low price aren't matter anymore. Had you try OTC trading with your coin yet? See, you did have many options for it as long you have it

Calling it a scam is too harsh, man. Sure it has some 'shitshow' and lost our trust but it does have a lot of time bring back decent profit when the market in the tumor. I definitely think you need to do serious research to make you don't regret it after investing.

Yes, no matter how distrust we are for stable coin in general, I think we do need them to stabilize the market and finalize our gain to dollars. No matter if stable coin did have enough dollars for exchange, we should just use it.

Checking their profile, their headquarters location, their past record of development,... All is just information that if they are pro in scamming, they could let you see what they think you would like. Don't be fool by all the information that can be easily pulled and check. That's my advice.

They use to but not anymore as today, the deflationary token/coin is just a secondary option. Projects focus on the real use case instead of that. Only a few die-hard supporters hold or invest in those kinds of coin/token so you should make sure you ain't not someone's exit point.

Re: Waste to crypto?
by
Toxic_1988
on 01/08/2020, 17:49:47 UTC
This is not a waste backed crypto token. This is a P2P decentralized electricity market token. You can also make electricity out of waste with Anaerobic Digestion. Waste is an unlimited renewable resource.
Sounds very interesting, what if that token will become junk in the future? because I saw a lot of tokens that were initially good then later they became junk so that they didn't have any value in the market, concepts and support were necessary, but real use cases and lots of interest in a token were far more important.

That is the risk assessment each one have to do by themselves. Don't listen to others, but EWT cuts off power plants as middle men and makes the energy market decentralized. This is a huge innovation towards decentralized electricity, which liberates the energy market to free competition.
But you should know there is money require to maintain a power plant facility, upkeep to for paying technical and such. If you want to cut off the middle men in power plants then who will operate the plant? If someone can operate and maintain a power plant, why should they share their control and ownership to someone else and not just, well, become the "middle men" and take all the profit for themselves?

It is always risky to invest in crypto, no matter if it was a new crypto or old crypto. Just because they're old crypto with long time established doesn't mean they don't have the risk when invest. New crypto may have higher risk but don't be fool by old crypto thinking it was a safe investment.

I believe it was because of FOMO. You don't see people FOMO of something already falling, only for when it raising. Same with every time gold spike and people rush to buy it.
