Well, I would also like to know if the websockets are any good? Whats the difference between websockets and trade API?

I'm not a troll, but I inquired.
The main advantage is the push function.
If you are hvaing issues with CEX's 600 API call per 10m limitation - web-sockets push all changes to you.
Thats about it.
Has anyone already used CEX.IO WebSocket API? Is it worth mailing to web@cex.io to get it?

Yup, but you can't transfer your GHS from cex to other sites. So if on cex fees>income, I don't really get why would anyone buy such at all, I guess it's all about the hopes the diff will go down, fees will be reduced and/or BTC price will rise.
Of course. If fees are larger than income you'd be better off selling and changing cloud mining sites.
Im saying about trading because I it really can be the solution to this whole thing with mining.
When CEX.IO turned off cloud mining, I was left with my useless 1THS (although theyd been useless for a while by then). I missed the chance to sell them for Bitcoins when the price was more or less adequate, but I did it when the mining halted. I bought Bitcoins with my 1000 GHS and traded them to Darkcoins. I did that mostly for fun, to see what happens, as I dont normally trade altcoins.
Heres my summary.
When I bought my THS, I paid around 2 BTC for them.
I sold it at around 0.7 BTC in January.
In January, I bought precisely 100 DRK (1 DRK at the time cost 0.007 BTC).
After I publish this, Im going to trade my DRK to BTC again. If you have followed Darkcoin/Dash price lately, you know that the coin has rose significantly.
So, Im going to end up with the same old 2 BTC, just because certain trends coincided.
Its just one example. I havent considered other altcoins yet, and I cannot possibly know what the price of Dash will be in the future.

That's why it's better to switch from mining to trading right now. I think those guys are trying to do exactly that.

It worked for me today. I was shocked to see the value of my GHS. That has been sold and converted to scrypt mining now.

I have some feeling they are planning something. Just an observation. Cex.io have suspended their cloud mining services, and while some companies are making announcements that they are shutting down, Cex are quiet. I think they are working on their exchange. I wonder what it will be like.

1. Verification is required because there are payment card frauds. Why should the company put its own money at risk?

Need to look through my mining transactions csv to see if it's at all worth it to be cloud mining. Otherwise, I'm loving CEX.
Cloud Mining is definitely profitable, especially when difficulty is going to drop. Once upon a time, it was profitable on CEX also. But, now all the maintenance charges eats up the profit on CEX. U might like to try cloudmining.website. Their current offer is super cexy... 0.001BTC/Ghs

Trade comments updated in chart, seems to be consolidating the recent gains nicely at the moment. Translation = boring low volume low volatility price action following recent bullish price move is a good thing. Trading should actually be boring, that way you make decisions based on your rules and analysis as opposed to your emotions and the noise of the crowd.
I think the trading is also heavily "Bott'ed" too.
I push a low price, and almost immediately a new bid is entered with only a fraction lower than my entry, so they kinda wall you off.

Never used bots myself have you? I know you can get 'off the shelf' bots or create your own, wondering if its worth investigating?
Automated trading / bots can be useful for certain trading styles. This website has many pre-made bots or you can customize your own. They have API support for leading exchanges including CEX.IO https://cryptotrader.org/
Are you still trading GHS or was it a one off thing?
Allowing the trade to play out at this resistance area, volume following the low has been good, will need decent volume again to breakthrough the $400 area. Have set a trailing stop below ascending price movement and just below past 5 days $350 support. Not setting an exact exit yet trying to let the trade develop into a trend. Lets see.
