Ripple users can make bitcoin payments directly from the Ripple client. We call it a Bitcoin Bridge and it gives Ripple users access to the entire Bitcoin economy. The Bitcoin Bridge is a simple protocol that connects the Ripple and Bitcoin networks. When you send money from Ripple to a Bitcoin address. Ripple was designed to be currency inclusive. It works on principle - send money to anyone from anywhere in any currency. Instead of promoting one currency or another, Ripple makes it easy to send payments in any currency.

The Rise of Virtual Currency(Bitcoin and Ripple)

Virtual currencies offer users convenience and the freedom to carry out the electronic transfer of funds from anywhere in the world using a personal computer or smartphone.
Bitcoin is  the most popular currency of the world, was created in 2009 by an individual operating under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Bitcoin is an open source crypto-currency. Bitcoin operates as a decentralised peer-to-peer cash transfer system that can be traded online or exchanged for goods and services with various smaller vendors.
Ripple is a similar peer-to-peer system which, unlike Bitcoin, is not tied to a single online currency. Ripple allows users to send and receive money in dollars, euros, yen or bitcoins in exchange for the system’s currency XRP, or ‘ripples’. However, Ripple, unlike Bitcoin, does not suffer from exorbitantly long transaction times; dealings within the Ripple community take more seconds to be completed. Ripple’s main difference from Bitcoin is that it’s not just a single online currency; its allows you to send and receive money in dollars, euros, yen or, even Bitcoin.  Go through this blog for better understand http://blog.tradefast.me/ripple-xrp-emerging-virtual-currency-giant/

I like ripple more than bitcoin

Today, I want to discuss about Ripple and bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a digital currency, but do you know about ripple? the most promising digital currency in the future. Ripple is not meant to replace the currency that we use everyday, it is more than that. Ripple is more efficient than Bitcoin, it only takes a few seconds to transfer your Ripple and complete the transaction, before you get bored when you are using Bitcoin. Ripple is more valuable in the future. In the near future Ripple will be the most popular digital currency around the world. it will play an import role in the economic world, since the price of it will be smooth rather than the Bitcoin. so, I prefer ripple more than bitcoin.

Ripple is a payment Network, But Bitcoin is a currency. Ripple is older than Bitcoin. it was originally just a payment network and distributed exchange. Bitcoin Launched 3 January 2009 and Ripple Protocol originally launched in 2004. Currency launched in February 2013. Ripple is a way to exchange anything of value. but bitcoin not a payment protocol and can’t exchange anything of value.
