With Bminer I have reached 1274H/s @ 175W on a 1080Ti Gigabyte (+150/+550/85%) without rejected shares on F2pool. My best H/W

Windows 10 LTSB - 8GB - Celeron 3930

That is good achievement. I will give it a try.

Re: Monero got saved after Fork. What about ETH, ZEC.. Forks ?? Save GPU mining !

I agree. I suspect there is already ASIC mining with the ETH as the hash rate rise pattern is similar to the Monero.

More GPU miner can support the coin better.

Re: How are you guys paying for electricity and bills?
by

I pay my electricity bill with sell a coin. it's already planned, a half a profit to buy new hardware for build new RIG and the rest I keep in the form of coin.

I just keep the coins and use the fiat to pay for the electricity. That is similar to buying coins.

Heat must be horrendous between those cards no?

I space my cards on 3 levels, they are spaced well apart.

GPU | Temp  | Fan  |   GPU Clock  | Power
    0 |   60 'C |   80  |    1999 MHz |    154.35 W
    1 |   61 'C |   80  |    2012 MHz |    133.77 W
    2 |   48 'C |   80  |    2037 MHz |    153.98 W
    3 |   47 'C |   80  |    1961 MHz |    127.53 W
    4 |   55 'C |   80  |    1936 MHz |    120.60 W
    5 |   47 'C |   80  |    1987 MHz |    157.31 W
    6 |   60 'C |   80  |    1961 MHz |    140.76 W
    7 |   54 'C |   80  |    1923 MHz |    133.96 W
    8 |   53 'C |   80  |    1987 MHz |    167.75 W
    9 |   51 'C |   80  |    2025 MHz |    131.68 W
   10 |   59 'C |   80  |    2025 MHz |    143.68 W
   11 |   57 'C |   80  |    1949 MHz |    157.05 W

The 2025Mhz one has just 131.68W. It is very efficient.

Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin?

I am thinking .. to put all my money in bitcoin what do you think? is it a good way to grow my money? or it is risky or.. ?

No I didn't. I didn't invest any money in bitcoin. I earn my bitcoin through joining campaigns or airdrop. I really think that it is the best way to earn a lot of bitcoin. If ever I will invest on bitcoin, I will not invest all my money because investment is risky even though bitcoin investment can really provide you a lot of income. Always invest the amount of money that you can afford to lose.

I only have a few bitcoins I bought over the years. I have made some profit by not trading.

What’s the secret to get the asrock h81 to recognize all 6 gpus in Windows 10?
Have seen merging drivers, converting windows to EUFI from legacy.  Neither has worked for me.

I got 5 saffire rx 470’s running five at 143 mhs at 690 watts. Won’t recognize the 6th card

You may need the 6+GPU mod.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.
never give up and always learn is the best option to do, but you give up to trading now, just hold your bitcoin for long term investment

For the bitcoin investment, it is better not to trade. Buy when the price is low and hold for the long term.

Crash is inevitable and we are prepared for it.The crash would be temporary and the price of bitcoins would rocket upto 3000$.

I think so. I have started buying small amount now. When the trend is reestablished, I will buy more.

The price is still higher than $20.

It might drop a bit further.

The price has risen quite a lot recently. It is similar to many other good coins.

The price is around $80 now.

Zcash is already overpriced so that I will suggest to avoid dive into this. Price will go more down and down so hopefully soon it will be around $10 range.
Absolutely correct.Everyone is waiting for price to fall more and this has created stagnation in buying.
Price are going to down further. I do not think one should buy it above $5

in coins like this, nobody is ever waiting to buy them because they are bad coins that will fall more and more everyday. if you check the charts and see the market history you can see how many coins are being dumped on the market every day and those who buy at this price become bag holders until they get lucky and there is pump so they can get out.

The price is still over $40.

I believe the fair price for Zcash now is $15 because nobody is using it for any transaction and no dark market has shown interest in it, those speculators I will leave them to have their days

When there is a few big usage, the price will rise a lot.

The price of ZCash might go to $20. But it will not go to $10. The price lowest we can buy is around $15.

I don't think someone can actually leave trading just when there are so much good projects to invest with.
If you got into crypto trading, that means you have been into bitcoin for more than months already. I don't think you would want to back away from bitcoin for good, you will always come around.
yes i think winning and loosing is the part of trading you cannot make money every time you have to compromise some thing and must book some lost, but i does not mean to stop trading, if you are continuously losing money then you should try to change your strategy of trading but leaving trading is not a wise decision.

That is true. If you can win 55% of the time and lose 45% of the time but lose less, you will win in the end.

Trading is a skill that takes time and practice.
If you enjoy it and are able to learn something or make some profit, it can be worth your time.
But if you aren't having fun, or making a living, there are plenty of other things you can do with your time.
You can earn just as much from other jobs or hobbies.

That is right. You need to spend some money or lose some money before you become a good trader.

Re: The Correct Way of Powering Your Risers for your RX 470/480

Is it ok to connect powered risers directly with the molex? I have a 5 non ref RX 470, all with 8 pin connectors.

Yes that is the best way. Although you may not want to connect more than 2 gpus per molex chain. 3 may be okay but I am not certain

For the non ref 470, if it has 8 pin PCIE connector, you can connect up to 3, otherwise, it is safe to just connect 2.

I stopped using the USB risers a couple of months ago and have switched to exclusively using the ones below.  I stole Scotts picture (sure he won't mind the free advertising, and I was the one that got him to stock them Wink)- I love them and would not use anything else - I have a big box of fried and non working USB cables.

I think that is a good choice.

for the xfx cards, I dont know, I havent tried with those.  try setting -5mv to start and see if that sticks.  For the other question, yes it is worth it, but if you've never done it before I highly suggest only doing it on a card that has a dual bios switch (like the sapphire nitro).  there are many guides out there, in my previous comments I put a simple step solution to get it working.  but bricking cards is real, hence the dual bios switch.  and yeah its better to dual mine, but it uses much more electricity.
Thanks Fr4nkthetank...  I can confirm that dual mining does not use any more electricity.  Tested with a meter at the wall and both readings are the same at 570w. So I have decided to mine both Ethereum and Sia as I have worked it out that Sia will pay for roughly 60% of the electricity bill.  I believe my cards do have dual Bios as they are the Nitro version however before I do that I would like to know if anyone has settings for this card that work.  I'd prefer not to experiment and guess.  Thanks again.

It is great to hear. I have some AMD R9 390. When I do  the dual mining, it uses a lot more electricity than solo.
