since GPU mining for scrypt coins isn't bitcoin, aren't posts here about it in the wrong place? shouldn't they be posted in the altcoins section? So of course GPU mining is looked down on. it is either unprofitable or being talked about in the wrong place. (Bitcoin Snob here)

I believe hobby should be cheap , and if you buy 1-2-5 or whatever less than 500 bucks , thats a hobby , thousands of dollars is not a hobby , if you are selfish enough to spend thousands of dollars for a toy train , you are jerk , spend that for good of people . On the other hand if you spend thousands of dollars with the intention of break even (ROI =/= BREAK EVEN) well kudos try that , otherwise I don't respect your choice of spending that type of money for a hobby.

I like how you went with the $2 USB fans instead of the pricier ones that seems so popular among USB miners.
the pricier fan is by far more powerful. got one of those cheap-o fans to, they suck.

they aren't ASICminer USB Erupters. The LEDs are the wrong color.
Kramble, that's an impressive piece of kit. I haven't read the entire ~150 pages , but that's about one of the coolest pieces of kit I've seen on this thread. It's not about the MH/s, its about getting stuff to work. Hat's off to you! Way beyond my "Electrotech 101" which is some 20 years old now back in college where we'd blow up a capacitor/inductor or two :-)

that looks like the anker with a different name and half the price.
I'm guessing to weigh down the base of the CD/DVD case so it doesn't fall over given the cords coming off the side...

It was just variance. Now that they have been running a while, the average is about 20.5 GH/s.
Is it even possible to OC these chicks? Maybe is someone can addres the bus of that thing trough USB and find out the clock speed/regulator...

Well I dont really believe in superstitions because there are no scientific explanation about that. What might happen will be your responsibility and noone will be. Though i just follow what my parents says when they say that is bad and must not be done at that time especially when someone died. I just follow them so they will not be mad at me not because I believe in it.

gambling is not addictive perhaps the urge to recover the losses make it addictive may be not only losses but winning streaks too can make gambling addictive.addiciton is not bad unless you are start losing much more money in gambling.
