Re: Why everyone becoming the holder?

I also do not understand the hodl in that situation, maybe i can understand the people that make hodl to use, I understand that because they are not interested in the market price, in the end, they are here for the utility, but those who are making hodl hoping to raise the price, are wasting time, because that can take years.

Re: How many people have btc?

I think that currently, we can only take the measure of localbitcoin as an example, and if I'm not mistaken  in Venezuela we were seeing a million users, maybe not much for a population of 30million, but is a lot compared to other similar technologies, surely I think there are more users of btc than PayPal in Venezuela right now.

Re: Whose advice you take when it comes to Bitcoin?
by

Actually none, I follow my own news sites and advisors on twitter and then I go analyzing the data when I need some opinion on a subject, of course, all this I do when it is really important, otherwise, I follow the news on Reddit and this forum more than anything else.

Re: Bitcoin Is Dumping, What can we do ?
by

Everything depends on what you need and what you are willing to risk, for example, what I did is get something out of my investment when btc was going down and now that it has been established, I bought a little more, just enough so that it doesn't hurt me to lose it, I have always done this in this type of markets and it has worked for me until now.

Re: A change for our financial systems

Although I share your optimism and positivism in this ecosystem so lowly, I want to clarify a couple of things, the money never comes from "thin air" because that would create immense inflation and end with the value of the price of that currency (see Venezuela) so everything has a cause and nothing is done because if it is not the best system and has its defects and that is another issue.

and it is not even something of having faith or not, it is something of having patience, even economically speaking it is not profitable to have bought in 10k and to try to sell now, practically it does not matter to make hodl forever in exchange to sell to this low price, for me, bitcoin is worth more than the current price, for that reason I intend to wait to that the FUD passes to sell with confidence.

Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token?
by
Troysen
on 30/11/2018, 20:21:21 UTC
It doesn't make much sense that bitcoin is called a token, but it doesn't affect anything that a few people make mistakes, in the end, we are all learning from this new technology and we can all make mistakes, but for future references tokens are currencies that are based on other technologies, the most common are the ICOs that are based on the erc-20 ethereum tokens.

I think it's never too late to enter the cryptos, maybe you aren't going to see astronomical gains as in the past, but the price we think is going to recover, right now is at an affordable price, but remember not to invest more than you are willing to lose, because from what you can see this is a really volatile market.

Re: This is Why you Should Worry!
by

Because I would worry about something I was waiting for? the best thing that can happen for cryptos is to stop using them as a currency to fatten in value, it is not digital gold, it is simply a currency that should be used for transactions, in the end if the btc reaches $1 it would not matter, as long as it continues to be used for international transactions.

Usually, when these blockades occur exchanges give a period of time before closing their operations, in this time you can change your cryptos for fiat if you get a buyer, you could also use VPNs or other types of pages to skip this blockage, as many Chinese people do.

Re: why bitcoin is still unpredictable.
by
Troysen
on 27/11/2018, 21:39:48 UTC
It is simply so because of the supply and demand, when the price is low means that there are many people wanting to sell and few wanting to buy, that usually creates instability, so I very much doubt that an adoption will happen, at least not with the system we have in place, and perhaps it is time to look for an alternative to that problem.

Re: Do we still believe in Bitcoin?
by
Troysen
on 27/11/2018, 21:26:48 UTC
I will always believe in bitcoin, even though these times have me worried because like many people right now we are seeing red numbers in our investment, I think bitcoin will recover, sooner or later the halvening will pass and at that moment I will take advantage to recover my investment, I am only aware that it is the best if I want to recover some of the lost.

Hmm maybe it would help the market, but I don't know if is going to work so well, for example, it worked with playboy because Marilyn promoted something that already playboy offered, but with bitcoin being decentralized is a little more difficult to create such a big marketing effort.

by

I do not understand your question very well, are you saying that it is a scam because before it was easier to mine? if so, that happens with any resource, for example, gold could be easily removed from the rivers, now you need a whole company and miners to mine the material, while a resource is discovered only some take advantage of their early stage while establishing its position in the market.

Uhmm interesting, I also found that post when I was looking for information about Satoshi in the Nakamoto institute, I didn't know it was a typo, I just thought it's a meme like many things here, it's interesting how the hodling has been the best attitude that many can do, even if they are not as effective in this bear market.

Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors?
by
Troysen
on 24/11/2018, 16:50:00 UTC
I think they are also investors, it may be that in many cases do not contribute money or other cryptos, but we obviously contribute with time, which is important enough when promoting an ICO, also is of great interest that the ICOs are successful, that raises the price of the currency for everyone involved.

Re: Bitcoin prices are destroyed, everyone is disappointed
by

on 23/11/2018, 18:38:36 UTC
Remember that you don't lose until you convert it to fiat, bitcoin is not a passing technology and cryptos in general will last much longer until something better based on this technology is invented, so we still have enough potential for another climb, just be patient and you will be rewarded.

So, regardless of the current price, bitcoin always closes with a new ATH, I don't know why people despair so much if we clearly see that every year, there is always a bear market accompanied by a bull run, true that none has been as long as this, but that only indicates what is yet to come.

Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters.
by
Troysen
on 22/11/2018, 22:33:28 UTC
Although I also share your dislike for KYC rules, I do not think there is room here for this measure, but in a way the bounty hunters are also investors, because the tokens they receive also affect the market in which the ICO is, so it is not fair to say that they are being cheated, it is simply something we do not like and that's it.

Re: How much time does it take to make it your full time job?
by
Troysen
on 22/11/2018, 22:14:14 UTC
I think that with 8 hours a day is more than enough to make cryptos your full-time job, but the most advisable thing is to look for some skill that differentiates you from the rest, try to learn to translate some language or create web content, so you can use those skills in bounties that pay much better.
