Cryptocurrencies will not disappear, it would be impossible for a centralized gov make bitcoin disappear due to the decentralized nature. Alt's on the other hand, could well see a lot more disappearing from the boards but not due to regulation but more so due to ineffective marketing and failure to gain traction.

I can only agree with you there, not if only the exchanges would stop faking their vols. many projects are fraudulent, try researching all aspect of the project, checking team members social media pages, history of the company etc etc , due diligence is so important these days,.
