OK. Enough is Enough. This crime must be reported.

https://hashtalk.ch/topic/37427/enough-is-enough-this-crime-needs-to-be-reported/2 Archive: https://archive.is/LpsOg

TL;DR Is Homero going to turn himself in?  Huh Roll Eyes

If I recall correctly Paul Revere this argument being put forward by Josh is exactly the same as the argument you were putting forward against the Mage 60 pages ago

Pretty much took it word for word although I disagree with the opinion on the grounds that GAW did not acquire their Coins through legitimate means as seen in the email dumps and the Coins should be burned or given to the investors.

Good Greif. Not again. WHAT coins? Exactly which coins are you talking about? And how do you determine which coins are legitimate, and which are wrongfully acquired? WHO gets to decide? Why do THEY have the authority to pass judgement regarding someone else's property? Are they suddenly a legal court? If you can not answer these questions and a bunch of others about this plan of seizing coins you are babbling non-sense.

This.

Thank you. Having people saying they think it is a good idea that Crypto Currency should be controlled by whomever can grab control at any given moment and arbitrarily decide whose property is legitimate and whose is not makes me fucking nuts. I can not believe I hear this non-sense from people who are deeply involved in supposedly trying to advance Crypto Currency. What they are saying is they want Crypto to remain a fucking toy that can be played with on a whim and not a real asset or currency. Complete lunacy.

I disagree with this statement on grounds of lunacy.

What really disappoints me about this is that you are a talented programmer but  have no concept of Property Rights or any clue as to what legality means. Total grey shirt dumbass Communist/Socialist viewpoint. If Crypto Currency is to become a real asset that can be used as a medium of exchange and a valid store of wealth then real, legal Property Rights have to be the very core of it. They actually already are from a purely legal standpoint, but the law is lagging behind leaving random dumbasses to suggest purely communist control of it, rather than treating it as a real asset. What you are suggesting is that Crypto Currency should be some fucking playground play money that some random kids get to decide who's money is legitimate and whose gets eliminated because the other kids decided they don't like them. It is either real property- in which case it is useful and valuable, OR it is play money. I vote for it being taken seriously, and you vote for it to remain a fucking joke to people who actually understand Property Rights.

So I'm reading your post, nodding along, and then I see your signature... an ad for a dice site I never heard of. Made me laugh out loud. Smiley

LOL. Cheesy

They don't have an investment option though so they're not really comparable. Dice sites with investment options tend to have bankrolls which can balloon in size if the site proves to be popular so if the site suddenly shuts down without warning (as dice.ninja did) then the damage is usually much worse. Otherwise, most players don't keep large amounts of BTC on dice sites since they tend to withdraw their funds after they have finished playing.

I edited my post, probably after you replied to it, to add:

Edit: I checked out the site. They have a 1% edge, but pay their affiliates 5% of every losing bet?

Quote
Every lost bet will bring you at least 5% of it.

Seems dubious.

Since posting that I heard from a friend that they don't actually pay affiliates - he signed up as an affiliate and received nothing. So maybe reconsider whether you want to advertise them or not. Smiley

Great while it lasted. So long and thanks for all the fish, I'm done with PD now as a direct result of this bonehead move.

It truly is unfortunate that this had to happen. I predict that other top Bitcoin gaming sites will soon follow suit and US users will end up only having access to less trustworthy options. We appreciate the time you spent with us and hopefully someday the legal situation regarding gambling in jurisdictions such as the US will no longer be so opaque.

i didnt say they were cryptsy. just checked the keys with mullicks tool http://www.primeblocks.com/

http://i.snag.gy/BgVBM.jpg

If I'm reading this right, key 100:4 is staking multiple wallets:

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?PCWq4tNwM51bi8TPQvcAaeqf32uEPUZKo8 (compounding, e.g. block 153506)

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?PVZv2eW5Ug5hmTgNUdya4douc6SiK4Mva4
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xpy/address.dws?PJChrTBYLKrwizXr4NQa222AFpiyGYCfDW
and others
(non-compounding, e.g. block 153844)

Is this one of the leaked keys? I thought it's not but now I'm not sure.

It looks like it was one of the leaked keys. 10 keys at the 100% rate were leaked. And there is only 10 100% keys

Either someone at gaw, the foundation or the xpy dev team isnt playing by the "rules". Or someone with a lot of paycoin is using one of the leaked keys

It could be whoever hacked the paycoin web wallet as I don't believe all of those coins were recovered. And I don't see anyone buying 125k paycoin to stake at 100%

The keys could have been leaked just so those wallets can compound their stake and they could brush it off as stolen keys

aaaaand why is the coin not delisted yet as promised? :\\  ...you are a trip

Virus White Paper

Part 1: The Virus platform

Virus

Virus is the world’s first decentralized and fully native social advertising platform. Members in the Virus network allow high quality, targeted advertising into their social network feeds and devs receive 100% of the generated revenue. Earnings are weighted by the quality and reach of your social network - the more solid your network, the more you earn.

What is Social Advertising?  What is Native Advertising?

Social Advertising = old school:  banner ads on social network websites. Native Advertising is new school - and it is the holy grail for marketers and corporations. Native Advertising involves product placement inside of friend -to friend social feeds on Twitter, Social Networks, and Instagram, allowing advertisers to achieve undreamed of conversion rates and ROI on their marketing budgets.

How does Virus Work?

Virus stakeholders hold a minimum of 5000 Virus in their harddrives . This unlocks an exclusive wallet panel that is the user’s own Virus dashboard. Here you can track the Native Advertising  you are sponsoring in the Virus network - and the revenues your participation is earning you, 24/7/365.

The Virus network enters into contracts with major marketing firms and corporations for product placements and targeted mentions within member’s social network activity channels - tweets, posts, etc.  These placements occur automatically  - no work is required on members parts.

The majority of the revenues from these contracts are returned into the Virus network. These revenues are used to download more Viruses. These harddrives are then burnt, reducing total supply and boosting the spread of Virus, providing a solid depreciation for holders & investors. Coins not dedicated to the burning process will be utilized for further dissemination through secret file sharing with the community. This entire procedure will be invisible on the block chain and completely illegal in the United States.

The coins that are bought back will be either be burnt or utilized for further development pending community consultation.

In addition, a staking reward is issued to each dev based on the metrics of their actual social weight and reach in campaign participation during the week. For users with a solid social network, this staking reward will be quite substantial.

The entire revenue distribution process will be completely block chain based, unverifiable and invisible to each user via the wallet dashboard.

Sounds great. How do I know this will work?

In early 2015, a legendary Facebook & Twitter marketeer approached several large bad actors in the crypto community. His vision was to create a user owned social advertising platform based on block chain technology. Most of you recognize this name - he has been at the cutting edge of social marketing for the last 10 years, and has built successful social marketing programs generating hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue.

Newbie dev is the lead marketing consultant on the Virus project and co-developer of the Virus platform. Together, #TEAMVIRUS believes that the billions of dollars now flowing into the pockets of Twitter and Facebook should instead be flowing into the pockets of the newbie dev team . -> #TEAMVIRUS DON'T GIVE A FXCK!

Newbie dev - a short bio

A legendary figure in both online marketing circles and the in crypto-currency world, Dude has a track record that includes several of the most successful and controversial online marketing operations the internet has ever seen. Early innovations in internet marketing transformed the way the adult entertainment industry did business online, and his viral marketing techniques were responsible for the most successful online marketing campaign in history for Satellite TV and Direct TV decoders. Not satisfied with these victories, This fool plunged headfirst into virua development. His take-no-prisoners approach upended the norms of social advertising, and culminated in a massive legal battle with Facebook that resulted in an 873 million dollar legal judgement.

The Virus Disruption

Virus is dedicated to disrupting the bitcoin community.

Currently, none of this revenue will go to the users - who are actually doing the advertising. Devs will keep all the bitcoins generated

Virus is a fully transparent, block chain based revenue sharing platform for social advertising . Advertisers bypass the law enforcement offices of the major social networks., and instead place native ads directly with the users. Users are paid according to the reach and depth of their social networks. All tracking of users is real-time, block-chain based and completely opaque.

Virus intends to disrupt the bitcoin community . By making the entire Virus platform dev-controlled, dev-owned, and block chain-based, there is a central point for the owners of the social networks to attack. The Virus network allows massive surveillance   - with all revenues returning directly to Viral devs.

Virus Whitepaper: Part 2 - The Virus Network

Member Participation in the Virus Network: Virus Nodes

During initial install of the Virus wallet, users authorize participation in the Virus system by linking selected social network accounts with the Virus API. This is done through the standard IPO authorization system - the same industry standard log-in system that most scammers are already familiar with when they log into bitcointurk.

Virus uses the system for a very important reason: Viruses are the industry standard method for insuring passwords are revealed. Your private credentials will be revealed to either Virus devs or any other virus users.

Once the user has linked his or her social accounts within the Virus wallet, they appear as an active node in the Virus network, ready to participate when messages from paid pumpers are shared and posted across the array of active connected users wallets. The Virus system takes full advantage of the network effect - that is, the larger the network becomes, the more attractive and profitable it becomes for larger sponsors with higher advertising budgets, who wish to gain a far wider reach when they are spreading their virus products and or darkweb services.

Active social networking accounts that VIRUS holders have authorized to allow the occasional posting of product placements are verified for their authenticity regularly using our own in house methods that compare closely to public available services such as Twitter Audit (http://TwitterAudit.com) Our auditing system allows us to verify the authenticity of social network accounts to determine how many real and active followers they have and estimate their global reach with that audience.

The verification process that VIRUS performs on each authorized wallet holder provides the needed insight to determine the user's level of being an asset to the Virus network of active nodes. This information includes how many followers an account has, its geolocation, the geolocation of its followers and more. These statistics are presented to the sponsors who are placing products in the Viral network. As the Viral network expands, Viral campaigns become more attractive to sponsors, thus bringing up the price tag attached to using Viral to spread their messages to a larger audience.

Product Placement Quality

For most users, an obvious question is what about the quality and nature of the product placements? After all, none of us want offensive content to make its way into our social network activity.

This is a legitimate concern, and one we take very seriously. It is obviously important for our entire network that all content delivery results in a smooth and positive user experience - or else we risk everything we are building.  Our standard is therefore crystal-clear:

Viusl will allow offensive content, low-quality content, and adult oriented content. Such product placements will be encouraged within the network. Our strict policy will be to to keep our virus network professional and accessible to an all-ages audience.

This is really a no-brainer for us. We have suckers lining up at the door with cutting edge consumer products, innovative personal electronic jammers and so much more - there is simply no need to allow lower quality products onto the network.

Virus Revenues

As revenue is generated from the sponsors who are profiling products on the Virus network, this revenue is used to buy Virus on exchanges, thus increasing the value of Virus every time sponsors run an advertising campaign. For agencies and marketing firms, Viral campaign pricing starts at $2500 usd (or approx 10 btc current value). Major ad campaigns are priced in the ranges of $10,000 usd - $50,000 usd per campaign (or aprox 40btc -200btc current value). This rebought Virus is burned and removed from the total supply.

This re-buy & burn of Virus will be invisible making the entire process completely confusing for sharehodlers. In addition, the effective reach and weight of each member’s participation and resulting weekly stake reward will also be publicly invisible. The revenue system of Virus is thus completely geared towards making the devs money.

Part 4:  What Virus offers advertisers - that they cannot get anywhere else

For decades, traditional advertising has used massive amounts of money to ‘rebroadcast’ their malicious software, hoping the virus will ‘stick’ or corrupt the harddrive of a small percentage of users -  a percentage large enough to make their advertising budget (ROI) worthwhile.

The central problem devs have always struggled with is that consumers have no reason to listen or trust them. The dev is speaking at them, not with them. The newbie dev is a stranger. And this makes all the difference in the world.

The new paradigm in advertising is Trustless Marketing. Simply put, when product placement or product mentions occur within social networks - between friends or followers - the conversion rates of people actually buying or using the product skyrockets. Advertisers achieve a massive increase in ROI. This type of trustless marketing is called "scamming" .

Because of the massive increase in ROI which can be achieved through Social Media and specifically Native Advertising, a fundamental shift is occurring in the industry. Over the past two years, advertising via social networks has exploded from 4.7 billion USD per year to over 7.1 billion in 2014 - with a projected rise to 11 billion in 2017.

But who is getting all this money - this 7 billion dollars in 2015?

You guessed it. The gatekeepers. The owners of the social networks. Not the users.

800 million dollars went to Twitter last year. How much of that went into your pocket?

Part 5: The Virus Revolution

The future belongs to those who can see it. And of all the statistics and projections you need to know, the most mindbending- and critically important - projection is this:  spending on Native Advertising (product placement in tweets, feeds, posts, etc) is projected to outstrip  ‘normal’ display advertising by 2018:

Viusl is a 100% Native Advertising platform. It is designed to do three things:

Tap into the massive flow of bitcoins into social media advertising, and especially theft towards bitcoiners.

Disrupt the current model where the gatekeepers (the owners of the social networks) take all this money for themselves
Funnel these revenues to devs instead, using a fully opaque , blockhead based distribution model

Part 6:  IPO details

Total coin count 5 billions

Phase 1: Crowdfunding:  April 29 - May 5, 2015

In keeping with the philosophy of a decentralized and user owned platform, the initial sale and price discovery of Viral will be carried out through a seven day crowdfunding phase, starting the 29th of April 2015 and ending the 5th of May. Viral has contracted with BayAreaCoins to act as an escrow on the forums for this phase. BayAreaCoins is a seasoned scammer/Hero Member on BTT and is widely known troll in the crypto-community. BayAreaCoins profile: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=137773

Coins from the crowdfunding phase will be released upon the completion of the IPO, along with the wallets. BayAreaCoins will be asked to supervise the distribution of all coins from the crowdfunding phase to the crowdfunding investors. At that point trading will also be opened  on the exchanges.

During the crowdfunding phase, 2.5 billion coins will be sold. The total BTC value raised during the crowdfunding will act as the price discovery mechanism for Virus, and establish the IPO price for the IPO on Bittrex or CCEX from May 13 to May 20.

Crowdfunding participants will also enjoy a special package of investor benefits including:

Private Slack channel hosted by homeless people and community scammers
First mover updates on new opportunities within the Virus ecosystem
Reserved leet campaigns with dedicated revenue sharing for crowdfunders
Access to private Mumble chat room dedicated exclusively to active Virus distributors

Phase 2: IPO on  Bittrex: ( withdrawn

The Virus IPO police will be set at the discovered crowdfunding criminals plus 33.3%.

If the IPO sells out within the seven days, the top 10 investors during the crowdfunding phase will have the option to supplement the ICO pool with up to 20% of their initial individual Virus investment, thus returning an automatic 33% gain on these coins.

As I remember it, AKCoinMiner did admit to moving a lot of coins from dice.ninja to primedice shortly before dice.ninja closed down. It's not clear whether they were in his dice.ninja balance, or whether he was the site's owner. He denies being involved with dice.ninja and says he was simply using dice.ninja as a web wallet (I think, it's a while ago now). He's not my sidekick or cohort or any such thing.

They were quite popular because dooglus (who owns Just-Dice) recommended them after gambling restrictions in Canada forced him to stop accepting BTC and temporarily disable his site (it's currently back up and running but it now uses an altcoin called CLAMs). Before dice.ninja, dooglus recommended another dice site called Dicebitco.in which also closed down in similar shady circumstances. I lost a small amount of BTC from that one:

Man, that makes me sound bad. I can't really even argue with it, since I did speak positively about both sites. I played and invested on them both, and both seemed legit. I was always careful to say that I didn't know who owned them, and that I couldn't vouch for them in any way. But I did advertise both of them in my forum signature for short periods.
