So far I've heard only about one person who refused to pass KYC from the ideological reasons, he participated in the signature bounty compaign, when asked to pass KYC, he refused, although maybe he was just a scamper.

Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts?
by

It seems to me that in the confrontation between bitcoin and Ether everything depends on the lightning network, if it is possible to make it convenient and easy to use, then I think bitcoin will win, on the other hand the Etherium is constantly updated and does not stand still.

I have modest hopes, I want 20 000, as it already was, bitcoin remembers it’s way to 20k, if by the end of the year he got there, I would be sincerely glad.

Re: Billion $ shitcoins?
by

18 cryptos capping more than 1Bn ...
how many of them shitcoins and why?

I know XRP is a centralized piece of shit, not so familiar with others.

Post here why a coin is a billion dollar shitcoin if you know.

If people start selling such a coin and they will sell at least 5% in short time lines, then the price will drop in multiple times, and there no longer be capitalization of a billions, so in fact these coins are not worth the money you can see on coinmarketcap.

Re: The Old Coins
by

There are plenty of opportunities in Crypto.  Don't get distracted by all the new coins with fancy use-cases and ICO this and Whitepaper that.  If you are relatively new to Crypto I would suggest looking at some of the older coins and see how they have done over the years.

Feathercoin - Fast transactions, the algorithm has changed from Scrypt to Neoscrypt to make it GPU-friendly.
Unobtanium - Very rare, merge mined with BTC.
Peercoin - Pretty sure this coin was the first staking coin.
Terracoin - Another staking coin, now with masternodes.

Each one of these coins is still around and active.  Don't be caught up in the hype of new coins without looking at some of the old coins.

A new coin is always a gamble, it can have huge volatility from the start, so people often forget about old coins and tokens in pursuit of gain.

I just can't imagine how these people, who bought when the price was 2$, filling right now. Personally, I filled my bags on this deep and still keep thinking about this investment. I'm afraid that this is still too soon and other corrections are coming, especially in the first week of each month. I don't believe that there is somebody who bought at ATH and is still holding. I think these investors already sold a long time ago during the correction.

I did not buy for $ 2, but I keep a lot of tokens from last winter, I can say that by this time I lost a lot but I do not worry about it anymore, many time I wanted to sell everything but was holding, because I thought that I am a true holder, now I think that it was a mistake, but it is also a sight hope that maybe interest for crypto will become high again.

Unfortunately , they are not interested in the price...they are only interested the product.
Big mistake in my opinion , both are important. This price is unacceptable for a respectable project.

They have a great number of tokens that are left in the project, of course they are interested in the price.
I kept the tokens when the price was 30 cents, and kept up to the price of 1 cent Smiley I do not see the point of selling now, I'll wait for better times.

by

on 01/07/2018, 20:18:08 UTC
I m read last messages from russian Comsa thread and looks like things get not much progress:

- First ico on comsa get only 7% of hardcap and maybe don t reach soft cap at all:
https://ip.gold/

- But here is second ico announced:
https://globenewswire.com/news-release/2018/06/07/1518301/0/en/TechBureau-and-TokenAI-Announce-Juliet-an-Artificial-Intelligence-Tool-for-Smarter-Crypto-Investments.html

- Some rumors about listing on Hitbtc, but it can be just rumors

Hitbtc? They collected about $100 million, and if I recollect correctly, crypto prices were close to current, so that still has house 100 million, I hope that their first exchange will be at list Kucoin.

The users that will move some or all of their tokens to an ERC-20 wallet WILL NOT BE ENTITLED TO THE ONGOING AIRDROP!

"ONGOING AIRDROP" Is it only about one week or one month? For what period  it will not be possible to receive airdrop?

Re: HODL or REGRET!!!
by
TwisterPipister
on 01/07/2018, 19:43:39 UTC
HODL or regret applies to projects that have a good team and the developments are progressive.  Sometimes HODLing a fallen knife project will lead to regret, for example HODLing Bitconnect isn't a wise thing to do.  It's better to cut your losses and move on.

Yeas, but there is always hope, I am currently holding tokens that dropped 30 times in price sins the last winter, and they are continuing to fall, and there is no any bad news about the project, or any scam accusations, they are just falling, I hope that they may be pumped someday by wills for example or the project will be finally recognized and noticed.

I hold some litecoin and thinking to move into something other. I am thinking for Neo, what do you think will be a eisr choice?
Stick with litecoin or something else?

I think that we need to go away from coins, the purpose of which is to be a means of payment, the blockchain is much more then just that, we already have a coin for payments, it is bitcoin, when the lightning network will work, then others will become unnecessary.

Re: My advice to bounty hunters About needmoney bounty.
by
TwisterPipister
on 01/07/2018, 17:34:16 UTC
I just wish to advice new or inexperienced bounty hunters looking to make some money by investing their energy, time, data and other resources to promote a project. If you love yourself stay away from NEEDMONEY bounty. Out of every five campaigns he manage three end up being scam, the remaining two takes a long time before you are paid and the tokens sometimes end up being useless and mind you his campaign are usually 9weeks and above. I have experienced this first hand and I want you to take a cue from me.
I am not putting this out here to pull him down but only if someone told me about this  I wouldn't have been a victim. It is unfair to waste your resources promoting projects for months and at the end of the day you don't get rewarded.
I think bounty hunters should be ready to call out this incompetent bounty managers so that others can learn and  won't fall a victim.
Also for those that have experienced a similar feat with him, share your experience.
Say no to incompetent bounty managers.

It's not because of the bounty manager, but because you need to choose worthwhile companies, you do not need to participate in the bounty just because there's a well-known manager.

Re: High Fees Gas ETH
by
TwisterPipister
on 01/07/2018, 17:30:19 UTC
-Fees Gas ETH is too high.
-Previous 2 days, I set Gwei from 1 Gwei to 10 Gwei. Transaction is very fast, not pending!!
-But now, It's increase 41 Gwei but i not still execute transaction. I have increase 82 Gwei .
-It's really really difficult!!
-What do you think about it? -Why is it increase?
+I think Maybe some mining machine is stopping !! Or it's to be affected by something such as: politic, disaster and so on... I don't sure about this
+I see when Fres token is listing vote on Fcoin only deposit only 1 token. Gas is increased. I think so because I love fresco project!! haaahha.
+Morever, I think It's also affect from World Cup. After WC season, I think There will be many changes.
So, What do you think about this?
You have some reason for this. Can share for me and everyone??  Smiley Smiley

It seems to me that this is all due to the fact that the market has gone up a little, generally high transactions - this is a good sign, interest rises to the crypto.

I found this image that represents what Roger Ver does to crypto investors.

Yeas, that’s a great illustration Smiley I think that Roger Ver has gone too far, by calling it’s currency a real bitcoin, now people who are fresh comers have to learn how to differ those coins, the same thing was whit ETH and ETC when I first came into this, It was hard to understand for me the differense.

It seems to me that now more and more ICO refuse to do the bounty programs, perhaps they think that it becomes an ineffective tool to attract investment, I personally think that the bounty is beneficial for everyone, developers in fact do not pay for it, just giving their tokens.

Seems like there are more bounty campaign are extending their campaign period due to not reaching their soft cap. Are you still continuing the campaign though it is extended?

Many also extend despite reaching the soft cap, I never seen it before, and now it is often to be done, if the project promises together with the extension, an increase in the bounty reward, then everything is fair, that’s what I think.

The Mt.Gox’s trustee will no longer sell bitcoins.
Losses of creditors will be compensated not in yen but in bitcoins
This will happen in early-mid 2019.

You must be crazy to think ANY ERC-20 token will be able to rally in this current bear market. Conditions must be met first: 1. Bitcoin stops falling, must go into rangebound price action 2. Ethereum must recover, rally or go range-bound. And only then you will see ATL go wild. Traders and investors don't like uncertainty in the whole crypto markets.

I hope that soon the bear market will end, since I heard that the Bitcoins of the Mt. Gox. Sold, or almost sold out, it seems to me in such a market it's better to keep bitcoin or Etherium, and when rally starts it's best to be in some currencies with low capitalization, Atlant's tokens will just fit, in the bull market they may have a much better chance to rise multiple times in price than Etherium for example.
