What is bitcoin?
A transparent log of all activity where coins get created in a pre-defined way.

What is DopeCoin v1 & v2?
A transparent log of all activity where coins get created in a pre-defined way.

What is DopeCoin v3?
a SCAM. Pre-mined coins that are given out to the devs three buddies bittrex, c-cex and allcoin.

Got my coins as i am sure many others have, so not just the devs and friends. Here is the transaction details from my exchange, i am just a normal DOPE holder from day one.

Right the page is up, going to add some extra help files shortly for people that don't know how to get their privkeys

https://dopecoin.com/coin_swap.php

Anyone who needs to get your private keys from the PC wallet, its easy just follow the below steps.

1. In V2 wallet make sure CoinControl is active (settings>options>display). Then go to send coins and click inputs in CoinControl panel, from there click on list view. Scroll through the list and right click on each address displayed there and copy the address then post it in notepad.

2. Now you have got all your addresses including the hidden change addresses time to export the private keys. Open the console still in the V2 wallet (help>debug window>console). Type into the console dumpprivkey , where put your address here (example: dumpprivkey 4HfAmTL8oDq851kY17EaQeEEq97pTTsdBu). Do this for each of the addresses you got in step one, after each dump your private key for that address will be shown in the console window, copy and paste each of these keys into notepad also best place would be below each of the addresses your copied earlier so you know which key is for each address.

3. Goto https://dopecoin.com/coin_swap.php and exchange your coins to V3 and prepare for staking.

A-A-Ron, welcome to the FUDstorm  Wink.  BTW, you're doing a fantastic job.  I've been where you are.  Don't let it get you down.  DOPE baby!  Cool

+11111

Doing a mighty fine job Aarrrroooon  .....wouldn't want to be in your shoes . DOPE to da moon! Tongue

Agreed, +11111 more. Ignore all the trolls and FUDsters, got my coins swapped and transfered back to the new wallet, and all it took was about 30 seconds of my life. Transfered all of my DOPE to exchange about 3 weeks ago when it was first mentioned, checked forum once a week for deadline to be announced, sent my coins back to my wallet yesterday about 5 mins after Bittrex bought the DOPE market back online, 7 seconds later coins received and back in my wallet.

Could not think of a easier way to make a swap, and anyone who says any different is either a bit slow in the head or here to spread FUD.

Great work devs......

bittrex trading online.

Confirmed, wallet and market back online.

Remember staking starts after 24 hours @ 10% interest a year.  And next week you will get 2% interest A DAY in our SUPER HIGH interest week.

That's great, but wallet still doesn't sync... Any ideas about that?

Synced fine here, could try closing the wallet, deleting all files out of your roaming folder and then replacing them with the files i have uploaded from my roaming folder and then opening the wallet again.

Can somebody help me??? I am trying to send cinnicoins to Mintpal exchange from my wallet but I got  these unconfirmed errors??? why?? My cinni wallet version is V1.1.0.0
The wallet is synced and staking fine just these transactions are not going. Did I loose the coins??

These Transaction ID are not into blockchain, so , try this :
First backup wallet.dat in safe place, after that, launch cinnicoin client with  -salvagewallet
If don't work export your private key and import in a new clean wallet.
Quote
Hi cinblo, How to launch cinnicoin client? and how to import my private key? I only know to run a wallet and no idea what a cinnicoin client is? Can somebody help me?

For simplify if you don't know how to this, follow this step :
1) create a folder in your system like c:\cinni
2) download this 2 files from wallet.cinniblock.com and put into c:\cinni
3) launch cmd.exe if you don't know where is use search function of your windows operating system and type: cmd.exe  click on it
4) inside prompt of ms-dos type:
c:\cinni\CinniCoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet

Remember before start this process to backup your wallet.dat file and put in safe place.
Let me know if work for you.
Best regards,
cinblo

if you can open the wallet.dat successfully, salvage is not needed.  If the situation is that person has no backup wallet.dat before the bad transaction causing stuck coins then best method is simply export the privkeys for each address they want to save, and then import into a new wallet. Remember the hidden change addresses and get those privatekeys as well.
Only reason for anyone to use salvagewallet is if the wallet is corrupted because of eg a power failure, forced close the walletqt before it had finished writing to the file etc

UKgunner posted a guide way back, and this is the way if you have no good backups of your wallet.dat.  You can skip downloading old wallet/blockchain downloading parts

Ok this is how i managed to get my PoS working again after wallet update and also get back all my missing coins that where gone from my balance...

Credits for this go to "digit" and "fox19891989" who from their posts and help i managed to solve my problems, i just took their combined info to make a nice clean guide.

Restoring a old wallet.dat backup from before the update and then using the old wallet solves it, but also leaves all the rejected PoS coins from the new wallet visible. So the following method is a better way which will tidy up your wallet and fix all problems caused with balances and will have you staking coins without a problem.

You will need to have your wallet unlocked at all times to carry out this fix

1. In NEW wallet make sure CoinControl is active (settings>options>display). Then go to send coins and click inputs in CoinControl panel, from there click on list view. Scroll through the list and right click on each address displayed there and copy the address then post it in notepad.

2. Now you have got all your addresses including the hidden change addresses time to export the private keys. Open the console still in the NEW wallet (help>debug window>console). Type into the console dumpprivkey , where put your address here (example: dumpprivkey JVgfbKMk9MrdwZry7X6iCTunTtdS2h1fYP). Do this for each of the addresses you got in step one, after each dump your private key for that address will be shown in the console window, copy and paste each of these keys into notepad also best place would be below each of the addresses your copied earlier so you know which key is for each address.

3. Now you have all your private keys close the NEW wallet and download the OLD vesion from http://1.cinnicoin.com/get-started/ and also the blockchain from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=573232.msg6866461#msg6866461 . Once you have both replace the NEW wallet exe with the OLD one you just downloaded, then go to AppData\Roaming\CinniCoin move the wallet.dat file to somewhere safe just in case something goes wrong, then delete everything from the CinniCoin folder except cinnicoin.conf if you use it. Then open the blockchain file you also downloaded and copy the two files into the CinniCoin folder.

4. Once all that is done open the OLD wallet, you will have a balance of 0 and a new address (dont panic). You will now need to import the private keys that you exported earlier, once again open the console (help>debug window>console) this time you will need the command importprivkey [label] , where it shows [label] you wil need to enter the private key you exported earlier and for label you can put anything you want that address to be called (example: importprivkey SR3MP8bJDAjl1GTnQ99ZoK13rSzwT3rTomotS8eEiFfgYLE8XMz8 WALLET 1) once you press enter after typing the command you will have to wait a bit and the wallet will seem like it is not responding, just be patient and after a while the key will have finished importing. Repeat this for all the private keys you backed up earlier.

5. Once finished importing all keys close and then open the OLD wallet your balance should now be correct and all rejected stake will have gone, the wallet will continue to stake correct also after this. You will need to stay on the OLD wallet for it to continue working and staking well.

Balances should be correct doing after the above, as rescan is automatic, but if you want to be sure you can force a rescan of blockchain for the addresses in wallet using "cinnicoin.exe -rescan"

I've been trying with this, but when I am trying to get my private key I get this weird message error :

"Private key for address X is not known (code -4)"

 Sad

Hey bro,

Have never had this problem myself, but can check the following link from the LTC forums, there is the same problem their that the op looks to have solved.

We should ALL try to find more developers in order to help Cinnicoin starting now.
It's not the first time CINNI drop to sub 5k price. Last time, everybody was desperate, but finally the coin got very well on its feat.

Btw, my wallet made a bad transaction. I have coins missing now, anyone able to help?

Nothing to worry about your coins are not lost and can be retrived, you will need to export the private keys for all your addresses including change addresses and then import them into a new clean wallet. I made a guide for this a while back, give me a while to find it and i will edit this post to link to it.

EDIT: Here you go i found the link should sort you out no problem have used it myself a few times to clean up my balance and retrive lost coins.

Lets all take notice today from what happened to VeriCoin (which I do not own) on Mintpal.

If you are not actively trading your CINNI, then there is no reason to keep it all on an exchange. Stake your CINNI and earn PoS interest instead!

In case you are not sure what issue I am referring to:

https://support.mintpal.com/index.php?module=announce&sec=view&id=17
http://www.vericoin.info/downloads/Statement.pdf

The network is more secure when many people are staking instead of a large percentage of a currency being held in one place (in this case about 30% or VRC was held at Mintpal).
I can help securing the network by staking if someone is helping me compiling the wallet Wink

Code:
src/qt/qrcodedialog.cpp:12:22: fatal error: qrencode.h: File or directory not found
 #include
                      ^
compilation terminated.

Looks like you are missing some packages, check the post in linked to below from the feathercoin forums. The poster there was getting the same error as you "fatal error: qrencode.h: File or directory not found" and solved it. Read the whole post as other errors could come after this one and the post has solutions to fix them also.

I just dumped out, I think I can get back in at 3500 or so.

Very possible but you could of just dumped a bit late, volume has doubled in the last 10 hours and buy support is increasing. You might get lucky and it drops a little more, but all the signs show that there is a rise incoming soon.

Volumes doubled because of all the dumps. The only reason Im holding is Ive lost so much, i dont even care anymore.

True but even then those dumped coins where bought by someone so the buy support is there so the BTC is still going back into Cinni. Apart from very few coins in bought in the 15K range i am still currently on a small profit as i bought 85% of my coins in the 4K-5K range at the start, is a very frustrating coin due to the early heavy manipulations, but i am still going to be holding for a while and cant see me not making at least a small profit and still the possibilty of a very large one.

to prove that guy with personal issues against me wrong, ill leave this site open for cinni...... sight

http://cinni-news.com/

Very nice to see the site still running, it is a great piece of work. I think one of your main problems with donations is that people think the site is a official Cinni dev site and also the fact that the text for the donation address is to hidden at the bottom of the page and the color against the background makes it almost impossible to see unless you are looking for it. I would put a small article on the site that is kept permantly on top above any new updates, that explains the site is a free community project for Cinni and is not supplied by the devs and that donations would be appreciated to pay hosting costs and for your time.

For those that want to send Encrypted messages,    heres how

Before using EM or Anon messaging go to to help and then debug window, click on the console tab and type into the box at the bottom without quotes "smsgscanchain", this will take a while depending on your PC speed just wait till it finishes. This will scan the blockchain for all available public keys needed for messaging.

Click on "Send Messages" in the "Encryption Suite". Enter you Cinnicoin address you wish to send from in the "Address From" box, you can choose a address from your list of addresses using the first icon to the right of the box. Now in the second "Send To" box enter the Cinni address on the person you wish to message, when you enter the address here the forth box "Public Key" should be automaticly filled if that Cinni address has been used on the blockchain, if it does not appear follow the guide at the end of this post titled "Get Public Key". You dont need to enter anything in the third box "Label". Enter the text of your message in the big "Message" box and when you are done click the "Send" button at the bottom of the wallet.

Send Anon Message

Click on "Send Messages" in the "Anonymous Suite". Please refer to the above guide for "Send EM" for the rest as it is all the same, except you dont enter your address as it is a anon message and senders address is not sent.

Get Public Key

If after scanning the blockchain a public key for sending messages is not automaticly added in the box you can get the key for a specific address by doing the following. Go to to help and then debug window, click on the console tab and type into the box at the bottom without quotes "smsggetpubkey XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" where it shows XXXXXXXXXXXXX replace this with the CinniCoin address of the person you want to message, wait for the command to compete and the public key for that address will be shown in the console window, you can now copy and paste this in to the "Encryption Suite" or "Anonymous Suite"

This is just part of my guide, the link to the full guide on the new features can be found in the OP. I am currently trying to find the time to make a guide up for invoices and receipts and when anon transactions get released compile a PDF user manual for all Cinni features. But work and family life is busy at the moment so cant give any ETA.

have switched my miners over to http://www.hashco.ws/ you need to set Cinni as payout currency under User Info>Coin Settings , have been mining there for half a day now and all seems to be smooth. Not sure of any other pools offering Cinni payout except this one now.

Looking into to it ....

I guess its time to get rid of it all ? Sad

I'll wait till July 1st then yes....

I am still holding and will till the end of summer, have only got 1 BTC in total invested in DOPE at the time of buying so not much to lose. I still love the coin and the idea behind it and dont want to sell even more at a big loss, so am going to hold till end of August start of September and see what happens, i could lose the lot or DOPE could make its big come back with a good anon system and dark market support am for sure hoping for option two but with only a few hundred dollars tied up in DOPE is a small gamble so am gonna sit back and chill and smoke a blunt or ten and see where it goes from here.

15BTC sell wall is nothing really, maybe scary to the small time trader but dont freak and panic sell. Me and my partner have just over 20 BTC invested in alts and about 60% of that in Cinni, so 15BTC is nothing to be worried about. Just take the chance now and buy up some Cinni to hold by the end of summer that small risk investment could be worth something serious and you got to be in it to win it, you will never make a fast profit here but in the long term you could make something huge. So just take this time to buy and then hold and stake, this is the chance for anyone who missed the BTC train. Just buy into the whales walls and eat it away chunk by chunk until he has nothing left to play with, he may hold alot of Cinni but seems happy to give them away to us all for a great price. Just needs some well planned trading to start taking him out, which would mean well timed big buys between the whole community at the right time, just need to set a few sells wait for the whales big wall to come then pull all walls below it and buy into his. With enough buy support and timing those buys at the same time the whale wont be able to hold out much more.

The CinniCoin development team is awesome. They slave day and night and lose sleep over developing this coin and the features. Thank-you. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.

Guy gets into a motorbike accident and the first thing on his mind is letting the CinniCoin community know so that they understand what is causing delays. It's not necessarily heroic, but probably cut from the same cloth.

Exactly thats dedication for you. The dev team dont care about price they are focused on the future and dedicate all they have to it, they know it well as many that Cinni could and will be big. This is just a great time to buy just a couple of hundred of dollars could be worth between five to ten thouand in the future, a small gamble to take with possible big rewards. The whale is cant hold forever and when Cinni goes main stream his sales will get eaten or he will back down. Cinni is here for the long run and the investment in it is the same, if you are looking to spin a quick profit this is not a coin for you, but for a serious long term investment dont look any further. Small gamble possible huge return not oftern you see odds like these and crypto is one big gamble.

That's no whale, it's someone retarded in the community that has something against the coin. Wants to see you suffer.

Same nerd who flashed sell walls starting from 24K

No.
Its a simple strategy to create panic selling and make profit from the spread. Easy money taken away from weak hands.

Not true look at this,

OK, im not going to argue with you. If you dont get it, then you dont get it.

Great explanation at exactly whats going on with Cinni, from the LTC subreddit.

Source : http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoin/comments/20sm0d/whale_price_manipulation_and_why_its_difficult_to/

Wonder what just happened with LTC? It was meant to be going to the moon when Huobi opened LTC trading, and all seemed to be going fine, but the price collapsed suddenly with minutes to go.
It was a whale pump and dump, and this is how it works:-
Whale(s) look for good timing for a pump e.g. when there's a great story, like Huobi LTC trading coming online
The initial rise in price is natural and rational. The whales join in buying repeatedly in different amounts to keep what they are doing undercover. They begin to drive up the price unnaturally.
Eventually an accelerated rally starts ("the pump"). Everyone wants to get on the train. The whales have to do less and less. In the end they just make judicious purchases to keep the rally on track. Everyone is going to the moon - well, not quite everyone!
As the price rises accelerate, the whales start thinking about when's best to exit according to the risk/reward ratio. Then they decide.
Boom!!! Their accumulated stash of coins are dumped/sold all at once. A huge vertical redline appears on BitcoinWisdom.
Whale says: I am very happy. My overall buy orders where spread the length of the rally, weighted to earlier stages when prices were lower. But when I dumped my massive sell order benefited from matching against all of the top buy orders. I made a ton of money because my average buy price was much lower than my average sell price. Now, urm, there are no good buy orders remaining for anyone else to exit nicely with..!! soz guys!! Hmmm thinking about creating a bull trap rally now, maybe you can try profiting from that?
Joe Trader & noobs say: f--k f--k where hv my profits gone ;-) If they sell immediately they can save some profit, or maybe minimize their losses. This is when the panic selling starts - except it's not really panic selling, because once the whale has dumped, it really can trigger a long and horrifying sell off because of the shock to confidence. You really might be better off panic selling like everyone else....
The fix? There isn't really one once you're into a pure pump and dump situation (unless you're a whale who can perhaps dump on another whale) In the case of the pump related to anticipation of the start of LTC trading on Huobi, the original rises were justified because Huobi adoption is a major stride forwards for Litecoin. But the whales transformed it into a pump. If you got in early because you saw what would happen in relation to the Huobi, you are sitting pretty so long as you didn't "let your speculation run into an investment".
But if you jumped onto the pump, you were always risking getting burned. Once on a pump either you jump off too early and don't make the gains necessary to justify the risk of taking part in the first place, or you risk getting caught in the dump and lose big time. The bottom line is that the whales' capital gives them a huge advantage because they can sell with a single keystroke and only they know when they're going to do it.
This is a general problem with trying to ride altcoin pumps.
If you want something more sedate (relatively speaking!) you can try bitcoin trading. The greater liquidity means whales have less power and because bitcoin is further fowards in terms of adoption (e.g. you can actually buy things with it) price movements are more closely tied to news and trends that you can analyze and trade against. Perhaps not quite as fun as pump and dump - and I confess to deriving great enjoyment from the later stages of the Huobi LTC roller coaster myself - but certainly better than being a "pump rider" full time.
About me: I am a pro bitcoin trader and entrepreneur. I tweet on bitcoin and altcoin and will also shortly be releasing free trading technologies that were originally developed for use by my own crypto fund.

You will need to export all of your private keys for your Cinni addresses including the change addresses, backup your wallet.dat for safety and then import all the private keys back into a fresh wallet. The problem is caused by the staking bug which is being worked on happened to me and a few others a while ago and i made a guide how to fix it, have linked to it below.

The whale will be beaten, bit by bit he is having his coins eaten as people bite into his wall. All we need is to generate enough buy support to keep eating those coins and redistrubute them into strong hands educated in Cinni, either by PR and advertising or investing ourselves tacticly and biting chunks out of the whales walls. Theres only so much buy support he or they can take before he starts losing to much and backs out.
