[ANN] FTCgames.eu
by

on 10/09/2013, 14:27:56 UTC

I'm pleased to announce the launch of our latest project - website dedicated to Feathercoin gaming - www.ftcgames.eu

Since members of our community obviously wish to have a reliable place where they can play some games with their coins, have some fun and get a chance to win some coins - we decided to launch FTCgames. Also, there seems to be lots of suspicious and weird sites that try to scam you, so we wanted to offer a safe place. Low House Edge, Fast Instant Payouts On ZERO Confirms, Fairness and Provability Checker are few of the things we hope you'll like. From community members for community members!

At this moment there are two games:
  • Heads /Tails - 50/50 chance of winning
  • Lucky7 - 42 chances to win

Please read all instructions before playing.

Have fun!

Not HAPPY!

Absolutely ECSTATIC!

Came over on Noah's Ark I think Tongue, but well and truly worth the wait, extremely well packaged, the box looked liked it had been hand delivered instantly let alone done 7,000+ Miles in just over 3 weeks. Shocked

Both 1st batch with errors so further increasing their intrinsic value.

Thank you so much Smoothie, a real pleasure doing business with you!  Cool

VB is still faster than javascript. Can this thing do compressed bitcoin keys?

Errr I don't know tbh Cheesy
Is it a command line option to do compressed keys? If so you could maybe try entering in the input field before your pattern...Although I can't guarantee it will work
Let me know anyway.

Since this is in Visual Basic, It's probably really slow. Nevertheless, congratulations on the effort.

Cheers.
I am running an i5 2500k and there is no noticeable slow down for me Smiley, but I have tried on an older AMD laptop and it is rather slow like you say.  Undecided
The benchmark type configuration test, hopes to solve any timeout errors in the script on lesser PC's etc.
One day I'll teach myself a decent language to program with.  Grin

FTCVanity v1.09
by
UKMark
on 21/05/2013, 12:27:14 UTC
Just released v1.07 that now offers support for Litecoin & Bitcoin, so thought I would post over here:

Changelog v1.07:
Added settings menu.
Can now be configured to generate vanity addresses for Feathercoin, Litecoin & Bitcoin.
Added run once self configuration on first run, this is basically a short test to measure system performance of the PC that FTCVanity is installed on. this is to enable trouble free operation even on the slowest of PC's. < That's the plan anyway  Grin
Edit: Also vanitygen, vanitygen64 & oclvanitygen now start minimised, so if you wish to see progress output on longer patterns, etc, simply double click the black CMD window in the systray.

Description:
FTCVanity is a GUI front-end for vanitygen.exe, vanitygen64.exe and oclvanitygen.exe for the creation of a Feathercoin, Litecoin & Bitcoin vanity wallet address.

It offers a complete user friendly interface for creating vanity Feathercoin Addresses & Private Keys:

Screenshot:

Further info on vanitygen from the original author samr7 can be found here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0

Windows Installer.exe Complete package for generating Vanity Feathercoin addresses & Private Keys (includes vanitygen.exe & vanitygen64.exe source vanitygen source code here):
FTCVanity_v1.09.exe

FTCVanity Source:
Github

Guide To Importing generated private keys:

To import a valid private key, simply start the QT client as usual and then navigate to:

Quote
Help >> Debug Window >> Console

And enter the following command:

Code:
importprivkey "your private key here" [Your Label Here]

Press enter and once it has been verified with the blockchain you will then have your own personal Vanity address!  Cool

Like so:

NOTE:The wallet must be unencrypted to import the new address, once imported the wallet can then be encrypted!

Feel free to test the validity of my vanity address below  Grin

mobodick has been a member since 2011, I don't think he would want to ruin his rep with a few stupid altcoins. Use him for escrow if you need it.

And here i was hoping that benders trusty head would win people over.,  Grin

Disclosure: I'm 100% Heterosexual and I didn't really want to trade anyway.  Wink

Do you have a trade history? A bitcoin-otc profile? What proof can you offer that you are a legitimate escrow service for a first-comer. Don't mean to insult your godly post count or anything, but you can never be too sure.

I have none of those. But i thought it would be fun to help out the community a little.
It's ment as a way to get things moving. If you don't trust me to handle you kilo's of coins then i understand.

Maybe lay out a business plan on how you are going to go about this - Ie: fees (would they be charged on a failed sale/buy etc?).

I have only been involved with Crypto since late December/January this year, but what I have noticed in such a short space of time is FEAR, its everywhere, FEAR of new members, FEAR of new currencies, FEAR of change, FEAR of exchange Smiley I even made a joke about in another thread and I FEARED I had induced more FEAR Grin

Its quite sad really, that as a community we generally FEAR each other, if we all FEAR then how can any of this Crypto actually work?

Anyway I would be willing to risk 500 FTC in an initial sale using you as an escrow, if I get scammed, then so be it, mobodick will be exposed as a scammer and the community will have one less, either way, whether I do or don't get scammed, it might just help to alleviate some of this FEAR Cool

Oh and I'll take a lower exchange rate, to try an alleviate the FEAR that I am in it just for profit. Say 1 BTC or LTC equivalent (after fees) for 500 FTC? (first come first served basis - I'll let mobodick decide the fees with the buyer based on my terms)

I have to get some work done now, but FEAR not, I will be back later on today.  Grin
