The tech has changed much since I posted this! The POS system would defiantly be the way to go in this situation.
as for the doctor vs babysitting, In my humble opinion the training that doctors go through is way to costly and for that justifies a higher pay. However the high cost that doctors demand draw more people to do that job for the money rather then just being a good human. I would much rather someone looking after me enjoy the position rather then simply earning a paycheck.  Naturally in our current culture and monetary paradigm much of this is just a dream.
A system such as that would require a Universal Income system to off set many of the greed components of society. Of course UI is a touchy subject.

Amazing! It's been so long since I thought this project had fizzled. I was so hyped then and now that it is still going I get goosebumps!

I know I have some of all three of the original coins in storage! Please tell how to recover them with the new software.
Is it as easy as dropping my .dat into the corresponding folder?

It has been a great pleasure being a part of the SciFiCoin Community.
P2P Digital currency is no doubt the next world trade medium and I feel it is one step closer to Mr. Gene Roddenberry's dream of a cashless and fair society. Once we realize we work for ones and zeros perhaps we can work for each other and better ourselves in the process.

This project combines two of my heartfelt believes and not only provides an outlet for creativity, a great opportunity to learn, and a chance to meet birds of my feather, but has also swelled in me the hope that we can work together as a species, and find a common True value in the things we want and need.

If they want to keep their coins they will have to right? If you think it an issue perhaps a rewards incentive?
imho I would rather need to migrate a few times to get it right, then to upgrade a failing system.

And the whole keeping on theme with the lore was very convincing.

Agreed. Especially if you are having any kind of issues with the current ked. Or is the issue just being fair to all the holders of old ked vs the new chain? Hope I'm not showing my ignorance in the matter.
