I always thought that even if btc is going to 0, casacius will end in a museum, but it needs 30 more years for that perhaps.

I'm moving from Mexico to Europe, I've a bit of gold coin andddd physical bitcoin.
My gold doesnt exceed the 10 000e maximum, but my physical btc are above.
I'm just wondering if somone has experience with it? Do you declare it to customs? They are all graded so they look like precious coins. I want to avoid any problem with customs because I don't need that at ths moment.

one other tech that scammers could use (I hope I'm not giving them bad idea) is to provide pic of a legit coin, and send the fake coin :/ Noob like me would rely on online certification, but definitely not enough

Cheers, it's sad that fake coin exist, but I'm scared about this problem becoming really huge for casascius, I hope the community can find a decent solution, maybe a blockchain based one. Why not grade them all, and put an "unique" chip on the graded plastic, with anchored proof of authencity on the bitcoin blockchain? Chip could own the PK that made the anchor or something like that
Obviously its not easy tech, but there is not so many coin especially very valuable ones

If you are looking for a silver coin with 1 btc loaded on it, I highly recommend getting yourself a 2013 Silver or Gilt Silver Casascius 1.0 BTC. There are a few options here on forum. You could check dazedfool's thread, he has some super nice ones listed. If he still has the one with the first bits 1Ag1 it is an excellent example.
minerjones could probably find you one or has one available in their warehouse.
I also have a few Casascius Silvers I would part with for the right price. Do some research on forum and PM me if interested in one. My last one, shown in the original post of this thread, sold for 1.8 btc recently so I consider that market price.

I've already casascius silver. I'm trying for now to complete my Titan set, that's why I'm scanning the forum more frequently.
