When it sounds too good to be true it normally is. Always skeptical on new starts for mining hardware unless theirs video proof and test units sent out to trusted bitcointalk members. So happy I did not buy here and now coming back to the thread after seeing much talk makes my decision clear not to buy here. Seeing OP not been active since 2015 is clear that this is turned Scam. Stay away if you know what is good for ya.

They update websites, photo spread in fb and instagram, constantly involved in Bitcoin and STATE conferences with european banks. scam? yep, for sure  Cheesy

Mr. Garza did the Same, you know the End of the Story?

I do not think so. Garza did not work on the state and did not pay taxes.

Alcheminer have no hardware in stock and their production has been stopped. HC still have miners available since they are still shipping. I think so  Roll Eyes

I'm tied into HashCoins so, that I've bought some hardware from them and was happy with everything: hardware, service and support. That's probably is a reason why I'm here at this forum. How are you tied into HC? Did you buy anything?

I order it .. and send the money through wire transfer .. lets hope :-)

Oh dear. Say bye-bye to that money then.......

Yet another noob account for hashcoins  Roll Eyes

Why is that? I saw few people bought different machines from this company, why such NO trust replies? Any bad experience before?

I think it's not so much of people having bad experiences as it is machines that do not exist.  Fore example look at Zeus model we have not seen a single one that I know of.  Also there is the Uranus that is running out of time to make it Q1 2015 as it said.

Oh yes, it's a very strong argument! 😝

At this topic and whole forum in generel are:
10% - who are actually buying
20% - curious peoples
30% - prepaid trolls
40% - "true" detectives, who are thinking, that at this forum 99% - scam and only HE is a good guy with a lot of experience and free time

FunnY

I ordered my miners via bank, you can look at that message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=417623.msg9498594#msg9498594 Paid via bank, received within 2 weeks. Tried their hosting to increase hashrate "offshore" and l paid with btc - all went through fine.

Thats a rebadged scrypt miner, nothing to do with the question which is about a non existent SHA256 miner.  Roll Eyes

I can see you're trying to sell spondoolies with your comments while all their stocks are sold out. Such claims from you need to be confirmed. Seems to me you haven't ordered anything from HC at all.

2x Ares at 16000 for 24h

When i have changed one Ares to 51000

2x Ares at 51000

At 16000, hashrate is more stable: 245 - 270 Mh/s per one unit and 5,5-6 LTC per day, rejected shares up to 12%
At 51000, hashrate is not so stable: 245 - 370 Mh/s per one unit and 6,5-8 LTC per day, rejected shares approximately 3%.

Dogie, in your Ares 256 review you recommended to set difficulty to 16000+ in Ghash.io pool settings. I tried increasing it to 51000 and the miner is now capable of up to 360 MH/s. Two Ares units output 680-720 MH/s, while retaining the same power consumption! Note: environment temperature is 22C.

Made no difference to me. The higher difficulty will be doing is increasing the period you have to run to get an nice average hash rate, and the only time it should make a difference is if the controller is being bombarded / overloaded by too many low diff shares. I don't see any evidence of that happening at 16k.

Thank you for clarifying. I'll test it.

IYFTech, regarding the Uranus, you can write whatever you wish, but I personally know HC are building two datacenters for this model. The miner exists thats a fact, visit them to make that certain for yourself!

Told off by a noob account with 11/13 posts on this thread....... Roll Eyes

I'm so embarrassed...... Cheesy Cheesy

So whats with writing in this topic only? It pisses me off some people have nothing better to do than go and post 650 messages per day. I live in a neighbouring country and have enough info about HC and their equipment. I simply go to Tallinn if I need proof and NOT create some bs from afar.

Thanks for the specs, Umberg. I guess I'll take that as a recommendation, but also check newegg for my options.

np. btw are you planning to mine scrypts or go clevermining like I mentioned? (you can get btc out of it)

what's the recommended PSU setup for it and what company you use? My miner gets shipped next week

I use 5 together - 2 main power supplys for each Ares, they are Chieftec GPM1250C, like was recommended. but since I have two miners, I use one Corsair RM450 for both control boards. if you have 1 miner youll still need 3

Does the ZEUS miner make 4,5 TH ?? Any proof on that ?? A user reported 3,5TH some posts earlier
The previous zeus had 3.5 th/s fit inside, this v3 version has 4.5 which seems possible. bitcrane using almost the same (I guess) boards managed to fit  7.2, but I like the zeus formfactor better
