i really think at some point they will embrace bitcoin in some way that they are also getting a benefit from it. it's a wise option. no reason for them not to do it.

I agree.
Everyone will not just they.
At some point everyone will need to board a train or be left behind. No one of big players will risk that.

Re: Which is the best Investment Option for Bitcoins?

Holding them or trading them with altcoins on trading sites like ecoin.eu. I trade my btc for LTC and wait for it to rise up but its quite bad for LTC nowadays.

Two years ago, I got some hefty profits by converting my BTC to LTC, but I'll not recommend it to anyone. In January 2013, the exchange rate was going at 1BTC = 400 LTC. I converted one of my coins to LTC. Then a few months later, the exchange rate climbed to 1BTC = 40 LTC. I got almost 10x profit, but lost most of it later in an investment scam.

If you gain 10 times of your investment that is called good investing.
But if you lose then all then that is a bad thing to do.

I am addicted to porn and I would really love to see Bitcoin dominate porn payments. It would make lot easier our life.

And you even make new account just to tell us this?

Why not use your old account?

hi there, i just want to know if there is a chance that i can find a block even my hashrate is 2231 khash/s?

Are you sure you want to do Solo Mining? Why don't you just mining in a Pool? It will be more effective I think.

That is just 3 million years. I wonder if bitcoin will exist then. or better if life on Earth will exist.

Re: If electricity was free, which machine would you recommend?

Hi guys,

I am from a country where the Government pays for everything. It is also possible to get free electricity (just need some electrical guy to hook you up).

I am thinking to invest some money and see if this works out.

The internet in my country is not good. The fastest plan is about 10Megas. Would this be an issue?

Also, there is a lot of information out there, however is really difficult to understand since I have never mined before nor even bought my first bitcoin.

I know there is a great opportunity considering internet is cheap (around 7$ a month for 4meg plan) and electricity (if I wanted to pay it) would be around 0.03$ Kw/h.

What do you guys recommend? Should I try to invest on the most Kw/h consumer assuming it will give me the best return?

Do I need better internet?

Please help me out conquer the world.

Regards

I dont think Internet speed have to do anything with it. Your net is more then enough.
If you can get free or extremely cheap electricity. Just try it out. Check this forum for which are bets miners and just do it. start slow. Get one and make it happen.
You will earn some cheap bitcoins and most important you will earn some nice experiences.

Re: Is a Bitcoin mining virus, more powerful than mining farms?
by
Unbelive
on 09/06/2015, 11:55:50 UTC
Since the malware writer would not have any expenses, any amount of Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency mined on that botnet would be profit. The electricity cost is zero for the attacker, and with some good social and software engineering, the virus could be spread very far. Also, the botnet of thousands of computers can still be rented out for blackhat purposes. It doesn't necessarily need to be dedicated to one thing, it could be multipurpose. This is kind of like this guy: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/sq7cy/iama_a_malware_coder_and_botnet_operator_ama/. He made malware which mined bitcoin, was also a banking trojan, and could ddos.

Yes, but once he got them,  but he will use them where he will get most profit out of them. Will mine those CPU mined coins or doing something else.

Not that he will mine bitcoins, just because he can do it.

Re: First Ever Bitcoin Bank to be Opened in Switzerland?

Is there really a need for a Bitcoin bank?
I thought the whole purpose of Bitcoin is to avoid banks.
To be your own bank.

Sure, anybody could be a bank, but nobody could be a mountain.

"And that's where Guido stores our bitcoins."

Your picture is fake - just went up there to search for the promised Bitcoins, but everything was covered in snow:

So you are saying this Swiss guys are storing Bitcoins people deposit there inside fake Mountain?
Can that be true? You have any other picture or other evidence to confirm your claim?

Re: Banks building new sevices using blockchain tech

Hi all,

I was just reading this article about LHV bank building an app using blockchain technology which "enables users to send and receive euros instantly and free of charge".

If banks start to do this then doesn't it mean that there is less of a reason for bitcoin?  I thought that one of the main reasons why bitcoin will take off in the future is that it reduces costs for people.

As an investor in bitcoin, is this kind of development worrying?

http://www.coindesk.com/lhv-bank-backs-wallet-app-built-on-bitcoins-blockchain/

They cant use bit coin block chain if Bitcoin dont exist. This is adoption. Adopton is not only that you go buy Kabab with bitcoins. To do that you dont realy need Bitcoin. Bitcoin gives you much more.

ISIS issued a currency made of precious metals. IMO they'd be the last kind of peopled to use cryptocurrencies in the plant.

I don't think these inbreeds morons know how to use cryptocurrencies myself. They'll probably use some archaic form of money just like their worldview.

You can not be more ignorant as this. If i can use crypto why they would not? They gathered people from allover the world and conquered huge areas of land. Why would they not be capable of using crypto?

$0.31 here in Germany, and they have started using loads more coal because they stopped usuing nuclear and are trying to use renewables, but it isn't working too efficiently yet..

I thought prices in the Europe would be the lowest due to all the renewable energy resources.

Most cost of any energetic are taxes. So it dont real mater out of what is electricity produced, but how country collect taxes. Taxing oil and electricity is easier way.
