Lisk started to move but this movement is too small after wait for a long time. Lisk testing too much patience.
I would say it's not slow at all. Today it's too many different ways to move for js developer. Is there a kind of application like Twitter based on the blockchain?
I think the blockchain would be suitable for such an app. Steemit and Qora have shown that a decentralized blog system works well with the blockchain. So why not a decentralized messaging app, too.

At Status we're building a fully decentralized blockchain based messenger app. It's not really Twitter, but more like WeChat, or Telegram with DApps and transactions/Wallet.

how about integration of transactions in existent messengers?

First of all it is an automation tool! Saying that one trades better by hands is similar to saying that one can hammer a nail better with bare hands (like Chuck Norris in "Way of the Dragon" I assume).
