I think your comments definitely speak for a lot of the folks here, including myself. The frustration level is getting very high. Reading the promises made on Twitter to see things get rolling by the end of November and then getting nothing out of it again was particularly disappointing. On top of that, no adequate reasons or new timeframe was provided. Although at this point how much can we trust any more promises from the team? Yep, definitely feeling as though we've been treated like a mule. If you guys are bullshitting us, then you really just need to pack up and hit the road.

Yes, in much the same way that the counterparty token was not sufficient and needed to be discarded, the current pricing structure of the in-game economy will need to be revised as well so that it is affordable for someone wanting to buy players and stadiums. On the bright side, it would be much easier to fix that aspect than it has been to create a new blockchain and exchange service. Hopefully the points you raised are things that the developers have also thought about.

I'm curious about what are the odds that the blockchain and exchange will be ready by the end of the month? Would the devs say that the odds are 50%, 90%, 99%? Looking forward to seeing this thing in action.

Excellent ideas for sure. Also getting some of the more popular people in the Twitter crypto community, such as Cryptocat, to recommend XFC would be great. Frankly the XFC staff should hire Fandangledgizmo as the marketing guru. He has a lot of very good ideas and you guys clearly need all the help you can get.

I admit I screwed up investing in this one.
In the rearview mirror perhaps but it was a good investment decision you made at the time imo. My projections might have seemed crazy...
Best case scenario is you are looking at a GameCredits type $200 million valuation based on circulating supply before or shortly after launch in August which you are able to get into for a valuation of less than $5 million now. More realistically, I can't see this not being valued based on circulating supply at at least $20 million fairly quickly.
But as you can see from the vastly inferior fantasy sports coin, NoLimitCoin (NLC2) they achieved a $110 million August peak valuation from just $100k in June...

It went from $100k market cap in June to... a high of over $100 million on Aug 29th. That was a 1000X gain from June.

I would rather XFC launched on time and did major upgrades at the end of the season. I think they would easily have a $50-200 million valuation based on circulating supply.
Having said that, despite already owning a lot of XFC I have been accumulating more these last few weeks as I can't see them not being in the $20-50 million range once their blockchain is ready & they're on a few (even small) exchanges, perhaps with some kind of mid-season new blockchain launch/promotion, incl. maybe a coinmarketcap advert. (Countdowns do very well at generating interest and excitement.)
So 10X+ current price this year definitely possible imo. (Hopefully from that base, it will start to gain traction and attract players then it could do very well indeed.)
I'm definitely hoping you're correct about the valuation when it eventually hits the exchanges. And I totally agree about the countdown suggestion. That is an excellent idea. I also think the developers should make it a priority to update their roadmap. That would give everyone a solid idea of what to expect over the next several months.

Looks like the crypto market is in a downtrend at the moment, but I'm sure it will turn around at some point "soon". I hope Footballcoin will be available for purchase and trading before the next big run up occurs. A huge opportunity was lost during the previous weeks of money flowing into the market.

Patience everybody. Why are all of you very excited to list XFC in an exchange? Is it to dump right away on the first sign that you can? Thats not nice. Maybe its the reason why the founders are not in a hurry to list it in Bittrex.
Unlike other projects, XFC revolves around the football season which has already started so time is of the essence in that sense.
As NLC2 has perhaps demonstrated, releasing a product, albeit much weaker than XFC but at the start of the season, plus being on a few small exchanges in this hot crypto market resulted in a start of season, August high of >$100 million from a valuation of <$100k in June. I expect NLC2 to retrace a lot especially if XFC is properly listed. (XFC is already 10x better than NLC2 imo.)
However it does show that 'getting it right' might not have been the optimal strategy for season 1 & lots of the major improvements like a dedicated blockchain could have been done in the next off-season, ready for season 2. Time will tell. I 100% hope that is not the case and that XFC still has time to gain traction within the currently booming crypto-market and among fantasy players during this football season.
Yes, NLC2 is a great example of what could have been for Footballcoin if it was available for the beginning of the football season and listed on several exchanges. They have a better product than NLC2 without a doubt, so I hope they are very close to releasing the new blockchain and exchange.
I've seen No Limit Coin on the marketcap site but I never bothered to see what the coin's purpose is. I didn't realize it was also a fantasy sports coin. Even if it retraces to half of its high and forms a new support there, that's still a very good market cap. The success it has had in the past couple months is a good indicator of what value Footballcoin can have if it is executed properly from here. I believe they are in the testing phase with the new blockchain right now, so after they finish with testing and security review, it should be time to launch this rocket!!

I understand how anxious many people are for this to take place. What I can tell you is that the issue is being worked on actively each day, very close to being resolved and all should be relaxed that we will hear updates extremely soon.
They used the words "extremely soon" this time! So I'm going to be hopeful that we'll see the new blockchain by the end of September. Ha!

I'm not sure when the new blockchain and exchange will be available, but I suspect that if anyone is looking to pick up a few hundred thousand XFC coins at a bargain price, just wait until the first few days after it's available for trading. Sounds like there's plenty of unsatisified investors who are looking to be the first out the door after holding for this long. That will be great for the folks who missed the ICO and are looking to jump on this coin in a big way. Hopefully after an initial dump, the coin will recover and do well for those holding for the long term.

I'm new to cryptocurrency in general so I have a question for those folks on the forum who are much more knowledgeable than me on the topic. I know there are several gaming/gambling/e-sports related coins on the market even though I can't name many of them right off the top of my head, but how many of them, if any, can be directly purchased with dollars, euros, and other currencies and then be used to fund a debit card for real world purchases? Is footballcoin unique in this aspect among the gaming coins that already exist? If so, that would be excellent. And I feel that Fandangledgizmo probably has the answer to that question. He seems to be a fountain of knowledge.

Wow! It looks like Cryptodao definitely isn't winning any popularity contests on this forum. There seems to be nearly unanimous agreement that Cryptodao is a bad choice for an exchange and will likely hurt the value of the coin. I hope the coin will instead soon be listed to a different exchange. At least something that the majority of posters on this thread can agree is a suitable alternative and will likely help the value of the coin during its first few months.

I see on the DEX that the circulating supply for XFC is listed at 200,000,010. Does this mean that the full 150 million sold in the ICO and a little over 50 million is remaining and will be used for prizes and such by the project developers?
1. What you probably saw is that the market capitalization calculated by counterparty: 2,000,010.00 XCP.
2. Most probably on Monday, as it is already weekend now and we do not expect an earlier start of trading, the XFC will be available for trade on Cryptodao (https://cryptodao.com/site/index/XFC/BTC).

I see that on the first page of the forum, September is listed as a footballcoin debit card issuance. Is that still expected to take place next month? I think that is a very good idea.

Based on the behavior of the developers so far I don't think they have any intention of listing the coin on an exchange any time soon or selling coins for fiat or even advertising the league effectively.
Based on your behaviour I can bet that you don't know anything about this project, you don't play any contest and you don't like football. Otherwise you'll see that they just added 5 more leagues, more than 100 teams and a few thousand players in the game and a two scoring system.
But you are a crazy kid interested only in speculation, not in a real development of the project. Go on Bittrex and you'll find there more than 100 scam coins to play with them, you deserve them
P.S. As a Counterparty token, XFCCOIN can be transacted from the beginning on Counterparty DEX (there are daily transactions on Dex)
but of course you don't know and it shows how many knowledge you have in crypto...
I checked counterparty dex and don't see the coin listed, is there any way to buy xfc the now?

2.on left menu select "markets";
3. You can select XFCCOIN/XCP from table (listed in first pages)
4. or in top-right you have the option "select another pair" and there you have to introduce: TOKEN 1 - XFCCOIN (you must select it from drop-down); TOKEN 2 -XCP;

XFC can aready be used as an ingame currency so I think the answer is that XFC is already a working product. If you are a fantasy football player you can buy and sell game cards to build a stronger team so you can win more competitions and win more xfc coin. It's a win win for players that also wants to profit big. It's actually a good project.It appears that the game is working already and the other leagues will start soon, but unfortunately there is no way for anyone to purchase the XFC coins. If a person did not already buy coins in the ICO several weeks ago, then they will not have access to coins now and no access to the best players.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this thread. I read the last few pages and I see that XFCcoin isn't available yet on exchanges so I'll have to keep waiting before I can buy some of them. It looks like the developers keep referring to "the global launch" in the few times they have made announcements. Is there an official date listed somewhere for the global launch? The platform seems to work already since they are having free rolls now, but I haven't seen an official date for launch on the footballcoin website, so I'm wondering if it has been announced somewhere else already?
