Re: Are You Discouraged with Bitcoin?
by
Unicorn_Heart
on 19/03/2018, 20:04:22 UTC

The problem of scalability has reared its ugly head again this time when transactions are clogging and when we are about to experience the coming of the Bitcoin Futures. People have been expecting that soon Bitcoin can reach the mainstream with the legitimization it has been going through with the introduction of the Bitcoin Futures Contracts.

People are now strongly complaining of the shockingly high fees imposed by wallets and exchanges for the transfer of Bitcoin and this should not be ignored by those tasked with making decisions for Bitcoin. This whole thing can kill Bitcoin gradually if not given the appropriate remedy.

Do you feel like discouraged about Bitcoin with this latest debacle?

Absolutely not! I am actually planning to invest more because the price is still low and then hold until such time I have reached the desired income. When it comes to fees, for me that is ok because they are maintaining and improving the platform for the convenience of traders. Those negative issues will also part of why the price keeps on decreasing so I think all we need to do is to promote Bitcoin to others so that they will see the benefits of using it.

Hi. Just wanted to know u guys opinion of do the day trading and hold. Thank you in advance.

Since there are so many dips this month, I think it is better to just hold and be patient to wait until the price will rise up again. Day trading is not feasible for me because the price is still going down so you better to go with holding. You may also add more Bitcoin as the price is still lower and then just hold.

Re: The future of BTC, ETH and LTC?

How do you predict all of the future three crypto (BTC, ETH and LTC) by looking at current market conditions. Is there any hope of recovering?

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2018/01/16/cryptocurrency-sell-off-bitcoin-and-ethereum-performing-better.html

In my opinion, their future is still bright because they are the top Altcoins that many people have invested to it and put their trust and effort to inveat into it. When it comes to demands and prices, they are still have the highest among crypto currencies so don't worry about them. Just invest now and wait for the price to increase again.

What is a good amount of Bitcoin to buy for first time buyers new to the crypto market? What kind of return can you expect to see within a week?

The bigger Bitcoin you will buy, the higher the return you might get and might incur losses as well. My suggestion to you is that, just invest the money that you can afford to lose so that you will be at ease everytime you will make a decision in trading.

Re: Is it better to mine or buy Bitcoin?
by
Unicorn_Heart
on 19/03/2018, 19:50:58 UTC

i think Bitcoin is only profitable if done at large scales. you must get expensive mining equipment and of course it consumes a lot of electricity monthly. Also it’s usually much more cost effective to buy Bitcoins with this money instead of using it to buy mining equipment.

In my opinion, it is better to buy Bitcoin and trade it in a digital currency world and for the price to go up and then withdraw. You don't need to buy rigs to mine because that is very expensive most specially of you don't have budget for that. So, buying Bitcoin is better and then wait until you have reached the desired income.

Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000?
by

on 19/03/2018, 19:32:53 UTC
According to some sources, Binance was hacked just to hide the sale bitcoin of the Japanese (mt.gox) ( ~800k BTC ). If there are more information about the hacking exchange. Then, BTC breaking below 4xxx, maybe 2k5, I think the best way : u should to sell all your BTC, altcoin. All exchange will die. Thats' the second mt.gox. ***Attention from now until 7/4/2018.
The Chinese exchange is not easy to hack. If so, it is deliberate......

We cannot actually predict what will be the price these coming weeks or months because there are so many factors that can affect the price and its demands. One thing is for sure that, Bitcoin is too big to lose because this is our future trading and investment that might change our lives better.

Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ??
It's the first question one should face while starting to deal in bitcoins and answer this will satisfies you to choose bitcoin over others. Some of the benefits that Bitcoin have over other includes :

1-Quick transactions – Bitcoin is transferred quickly over the Internet.
2-No expenses/low charges – Unlike credit cards, Bitcoin can be utilized for nothing or low costs.. This enhances revenues margins deals.
3-International installments – Bitcoin is used all over the globe; e-commerce sellers and service suppliers can easily agree to take international payments. Which uncovered new potential commercial centers for them.
4-Information is secure – As we have seen with late hacks on general retailers’ disbursement processing systems, the Internet is not generally a secure place for private information. With Bitcoin, clients don’t surrender private data.
5-Much More Easier – Bitcoin is Much more easier rather than we think.Means to say It’s Much more easier than transfering a Payment from bank account From bitcoin you can even transfer a Payment in few clicks even While listening songs.
-Hope this will help you in believing Bitcoins !

In my opinion, you must choose Bitcoin because that is the mother of all cryptocurrencies. When is comes to volume and prices, Bitcoin is way higher as compared to other Altcoins. Bitcoin can also be used as mode of payment in a stores and online stores. So, it is better to invest now before it will rise up again.

Re: Would you still buy Bitcoin?

Hey guys. I was asking my self "Should I buy Bitcoin now? What if it's gonna go down after I buy?". What do you think? Should I buy or wait?

Yes! We should buy Bitcoin or other Crypto currencies because the prices are still low and then hold until it rises up again. Most specially your strategy is for long term investment so you better to buy now. You can also check with Candle stick graph if the price will continue to go dip or will turn the way around. Also, just read the current news related to Bitcoin so that you will have ideas on the forecast.

Have you spend your Bitcoin allready? Like buying pizza Wink or maybe you have booked your hotel with. Let's share your experiences.

As for me, I still have my Bitcoin in my wallet and don't know when I acually will use them in daily life.

I normally use Bitcoin to pay my monthly bills such as water, electricity and insurance thru online that has no charge and hassle free. Many merchants accept Bitocoin as mode of payment sand that's so easy buy just transferring money from wallet to wallet. Also, I am using Bitcoin to trade in a crypto currency so that I can earn extra income aside from my fixed salary. I am so thankful that Bitcoin is really a game changer wherein you can earn a lot if the price goes well.

What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?

Just don't panic to sell if the price goes down because that is normal in trading. Selling if the price is low is not a good idea however you need to do is just hold until the price rises up again. Bitcoin is too big to lose so you can never go wrong if you will either buy or hold.

Re: Why do people buy high and sell low
by
Unicorn_Heart
on 19/03/2018, 11:16:50 UTC
I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!

I think it is because they don't want to incurr more losses so they think that it is better to have low income or less losses than totally none at all. We should need to stand our point and strategy in trading. The best and effective strategy is still buy low and sell high and don't do the other way around. Don't be discourage if there are so many dips because that is normal but instead just be patient and wait for the best to come.

You can always invest again. As they say, experience is the best teacher. The tip is to be able to master your emotions not the otherwise. You need to be contented and know when to risk.

Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low
by
Unicorn_Heart
on 18/03/2018, 09:23:33 UTC
This week, bitcoin's price gets low. Based on the article that i read, it says thats they cant trace the reason why its getting low. They said it might be because some used to hack and mine bitcoins. They also said that maybe it was because there are new cryptos.
What do you think is the main reason? Do you think its price will still rise?

The bitcoin price gets low because there are so many people who invested during the last part of 2017. These people were those who expected to get profit overnight. So when they get disappointed, they pulled out their btc easily. Those who are patient will be rewarded greatly. The lesser people hold btc, the lower the price will be. We will always return to the law of supply and demand.

i'm just curious if how many percentage of all the people on earth know about Bitcoin. in my country i think only 10% knows about it. post your opinion guys.

I believe many people know bitcoin or at least heard about it, especially when BTC aggressively rose up during the last part of 2017. It might be around 75% here in our country. However, for those who were really involve in this cryptocurrency, say investing and holding and trading were very limited. For Manila, my estimate would be 23% of the population is involved in it.

Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.?
by
Unicorn_Heart
on 11/03/2018, 05:16:09 UTC
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

The challenge with TV ads is that it's so expensive. The concept, the models, the duration etc. So the question is who will spearhead and finance these? What would be the benefits? And if the benefits would outweigh the cost. It might only lead to a higher transaction cost to recover.

Unicorn_Heart
on 11/03/2018, 05:03:30 UTC
While you are panicking over the decline in the price of bitcoin, the largest bitcoin holders will have an even more volume of bitcoins because of the panickers

A lot of people panicked but not me. First of all what are you trying to analyze? What range of time are you considering? If you checked the performance of the last quarter of 2017 before it went upward by December, it is still much lower to the prices we have right now. And yet in span of months we gained a lot. Treat a low price as an opportunity to invest more. To cash out on the other hand will just make your loss gets realized.

Re: More traders.... Good or not?

on 10/03/2018, 07:03:42 UTC
I’ve been wanting and taking my time to enter the trade game. But before I do, just wanting to know the prod and cons of having a lot of new traders coming in.

Trading is much more safer and easy to learn. I’ve been preparing myself for months now and wanted to start my journey here in bitcointalk. But like me? New Traders are comming in fast. Will it be a good sign to our world of crypocurrency? Or will it affect the competition inside?

It is a good sign for those who already have bitcoin and are just holding it because the bitcoin price will go up as the demand arise and supply goes down. You should not see it as a competition but rather an advantage from your end. The reason why bitcoin us going low is because more and more traders are losing heart in the prices of the bitcoin.
