Re: What does KYC gives you ?
by

I think that you can just put a watermark on the documents and then you don't have to be afraid of what they will be used elsewhere. a lot of ico are asking for documents, so this can not be avoided

LOL. Do you think a watermark can't be photo-shopped? Anyway, as we know KYC is here because of the regulations coming SEC if not for them we wouldn't be seeing any ICO asking for that so fuck the government. I hope menlo will start as soon as possible to will be successful to lessen us the burden in submitting our KYC information to any ICO we'd like to participate.

I research on crypto last two month. I want to investment.

Please suggest me better crypto.

Thanks in Advance.

Well then you need to do more research if you're going to invest. It is an endless loop of researching things. Any of the suggestions maybe good or bad and that depends on the composition of team, product, and community. Anyway, try using ico review sites like menlo.one and research about the product you'll be investing your money with.

I have seen this ICO menlo.one, and I'm fairly interested of it. Have anyone looked into them if they're legit or not? They have a good concept for an ICO and they do have a solution for the scaling of token economy right now. I'm just wondering if any of you here have thoughts of them.

Re: Guerilla marketing - anyone is experienced for the ICO?
by

What is the exact domain name of guerilla?

LOL. Its a marketing startegy not a website or whatsoever. What I know is that this strategy is more like a shill bumping of a topic or name by different people, indirectly putting some key phrases to comments/post for SEO purposes. The more people talking about the said topic or name the better the marketing goes.

Re: how to start bitcoin mining?

Is there any groups or association of miners here in Philippines? Madami dami rin bang mga miners dito? Just a thought.

Yes, there is and I'm a group member.  If you want to join, here's our facebook group account, https://www.facebook.com/groups/cryptominersph/

Also, the group maintains a thread here, so, if you have questions about crypto mining and hardware (GPUs, MOBO, peripherals, and other parts) simply go to CMPH - CryptoMiners Philippines Official Thread, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2133447.0

Thanks, ask ko lang then if its still profitable here in PH yung GPU mining. Balak ko kasing sumugal din dito, don't know but seeing on this thread trading makes more sense than mining these days. Pero still thinking kung anu ba mas maganda. Thanks sa reply repa.  Wink

Re: How to choose a good ICO, what criteria?
by
UnusualLeech045
on 08/02/2018, 10:28:56 UTC
These criteria's are very important, but it would take up so much of your time OP, by the time you had decided the ICO is already finished. LOL I guess you need to look on KEY Factors of successful ICO's which are Team, Product, and Community.

Re: BTC dominance halved
by
UnusualLeech045
on 28/01/2018, 04:18:43 UTC
BTC went up - alts went down, BTC went down - alts went down, this was the case before December, when cryptocurreny market pumped last time.
But according to coinmarketcap BTC dominance in crypto market is 34%, though it was more than 60-70% on September, doesn't it mean that people started paying more attention ta altcoins and so alts eventually becoming more "independent"?
I don't think it will happen this year or even next, but don't you think that some top altcoins may bypass bitcoin in the near future?

Not possible mate. Even if the dominance of BTC had decreased, you can still see clearly that the price movement of all the alts is too dependent on BTC.

The question is when it will be launched. There are rumors that it will just sit on "testing phase" and will never move on.

why so negative man? we've just read a great news. Maybe is a small step, but on the right direction!

I think if we have a launch before the and of this year it would be great!

No, don't get me wrong. I a bit more worried than being negative. I am also one of the people that hopes the Problems in bitcoin will be solved. Anyway, worrying won't give us anything so I'd be more positive about this.

Some suggestions have already been sprouting. Others (people that came from other countries not affected by the regulations) offers to buy and invest your money for you not sure if that would work though.

I think the Know Your Customer also known as KYC itself can help in this issue. Even when you are using VPN, still the KYC can help.

What is with this comment? it doesn't have any relevance to the question. Moving on, yeah you are actually creating a fraud by escaping the RULE they have provided. As far as I know KYC needs some verifications e.g.  passport, I.D. so you still need to submit all this information even if you are using VPN's.

Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ?
by
UnusualLeech045
on 22/01/2018, 05:23:37 UTC
The amount of risk in Bitcoin is nothing compared to the profit we would be getting. Every investment has a certain risk but if you have researched well about your investment then the risk would be nothing.

The last couple of days my portfolio has dwindled about 50k USD. However, I don't really feel sad as much as fascinated about the market. Should I see a shrink?  Cheesy

Your portfolio is still good unless you have pressed the sell button and exchange your coins. The market is now getting better so better expect an increase in the value of your portfolio.

As I said the price will always bounce back. Even if the price had reached 9K yesterday. It is now back to 11K right now. I hope the corrections is over. LOL

Bitcoin will be up to 30k $ per 1 BTC till the end of 2018 year. Current correction is predictible - there is no markets that could grow up without corrections

Proper education will makes your more confident in this kind of market. Bitcoin will never be back at $2k level we must be more realistic. Dumping is part of the game there is no easy road but if you look at the long term possibilities you will see a big potential for bitcoin to soar higher.

I agree with you. You need to have the knowledge on how bitcoin goes in the market and what is the history of bitcoin in the first place. 2K is far enough to reach even at 7-8K is almost impossible to happen, no matter how the bitcoin will always bounceback.
