Re: UEFA Europa League 2025/26 Season
by

An emotional moment it was for Tottenham when they won the cup last season, it was such a special time for both fans and players given the many years they’ve gone without a trophy, any trophy at all and then the departure of Kane came with a trophy for Son and the other faithfuls. Many of us still believe it was a lucky win for them as, their chances of beating Manchester United was much unlikely yet, they managed it.
Don’t see them defending it this season though.
Tottenham's victory in the Europa League last season truly broke the curse that had prevented them from winning titles in various competitions.

Before winning the Europa League last season, Tottenham had actually gone a long time without a trophy. The last time the team won a trophy was in 2008 in the Carabao Cup. And yes, that was more than 10 years ago, or more precisely, around 17 or 16 years ago. So, when Tottenham finally won the title last season, it was truly a historic moment for the team. And it was truly an emotional moment for all Tottenham fans, players, and everyone at the club.

And in the new season, Tottenham will be fighting for the Champions League. However, I'm not sure they can go any further there.

As for the Europa League this time, I think it will be more difficult to predict. But AS Roma usually competes fiercely every season. And this season they will be there too.

Napoli will never let himself be weakened because he knows that if the players join another team they will be weaken and their performance will also be known. There is also a reason for this that other teams think that they can sell him for a certain amount of money so that they can get this worthy player. The Napoli has made a very good decision because Galatasaray change a lot of players and they have such players and Juve is a good player and has take their team to a lot of progress. Apart from this this player is get a lot in this team that he wants.
The conditions made by Napoli for Osimhen's release clause or Osimhen's transfer to Galatasaray which does not allow Galatasaray to sell Osimhen to a Serie A club within a few seasons has also been proof that Napoli does not want any good players they have ever owned to belong to a club that will compete with them in Serie A.

And this also illustrates how extraordinary Osimhen truly is. To the point that Napoli didn't want him to join a club from the same league. Napoli surely realizes that Osimhen would pose a very real threat and would truly enhance the attacking prowess of any team that has him.

Re: How do you hedge against unexpected volatility while trading futures
by
Uruhara
on 25/07/2025, 13:52:24 UTC
But before I fully switch, I’m wondering if there’s a way to manage or hedge against this kind of volatility while still trading futures. Is there a smart way to protect my trades or reduce the risk? Any advice would really help.
I rarely trade futures. However, I sometimes enter when market conditions truly look easy enough for me to exploit. However, I rarely use leverage above 20x. My maximum limit is only 10x. I also employ fairly strict risk management. I set stop-loss and take-profit orders from the start, as I've calculated my acceptable loss limit. I've also determined the profit percentage I want to take. This way, I can feel more at ease even if I don't open the market after my position is filled. By setting stop-loss and take-profit orders, I believe market volatility won't surprise or panic us, as we're prepared for it. So, my advice is to reduce your leverage and employ fairly strict risk management. However, it's best to avoid markets where price movements are still difficult to analyze.

In unpredictable market conditions, I find spot trading much more comfortable. Although it does require more patience to generate profits, the risks involved are not too great and won't affect our psychology.

Manchester City bought Trafford from Burnley for £27 million, according to Fabrizio Romano.
https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1948680616796459433

Trafford is an extremely promising young goalkeeper who played 45 games for Burnley last season and kept 29 clean sheets at he is only 22 yo.
It seems that Guardiola has finally found a replacement for Ederson, but decided not to buy a ready-made goalkeeper, but a young one with prospects for years to come. The length of the contract is not yet clear, but I think it will be at least five years, given the player's prospects.

For James Trafford, returning to Man City is sure to bring back memories. After all, he felt like he grew up there. He also spent his youth career there, from 2015 to 2021. He was then promoted to the Man City senior team and loaned out to several clubs. He was eventually released to Burnley. Now, he's back at Man City. So, I think Man City truly knows when to capitalize on this young talent. They took him when he was already mature and had enough experience.

With his young age, Man City likely won't have to worry about the goalkeeping position at their club for now, or even in the long term, as long as he can prove himself this season.

Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025

The way Manchester United began their season with a wonderful performance in the European League if to say they're able to maintain their performances, they're supposed to qualify for the league. Because everyone was impressed with their performances, I even stated that since they perform very poorly in the premier league, they can do much better provided their performance is not so bad compared to the premier league.

But still at the end of the day, all their efforts they put in right from the beginning of the season were wasted. Seriously, Manchester United deserve more than those players you’ve mentioned earlier. If they really want their performance to improve, they should do the right things at the right time.
Last season, Manchester United's performance in the Europa League was quite impressive. In fact, as far as I can remember, United only lost once in the competition, in the final. They always won the rest of their matches. This proves that when this team is truly focused, they can play very well. And Amorim was also quite extraordinary, adapting so quickly. The problem is, they were truly poor in the Premier League, and I even think it was the worst season Manchester United has ever experienced in the Premier League. Usually, even at their worst, Manchester United wouldn't even be close to the relegation zone, but last season, Manchester United came very close.

And perhaps the reason Amorim hasn't brought in many new players in this transfer window is because he seems intent on maximizing his existing squad for this season. Although many seem to be hoping Manchester United will start the new season with a revamped squad as well.

Re: Is Buying Shares of a BTC ETF a good way to invest in Bitcoin?

At least you already have a good sense of confidence about investing in Bitcoin, even if you decide to buy shares instead of the actual Bitcoin itself, which you can actually store in your own wallet. However, if we're talking about whether it's a good method or not, buying ETF shares is certainly a good option. Moreover, the company you're referring to has a proven reputation, which I believe is beyond doubt. So, if that's what you feel is safest and most trustworthy, then that's the right choice for you.

Everyone has their own approach. However, if you want to invest in Bitcoin and want full control over your Bitcoin, then buying it on an exchange and sending it to your own Bitcoin wallet is the best option.

For now, you're on the right track. And I suggest you also start learning more about Bitcoin so you'll be more familiar with the investment instrument you're entering. I'm sure that once you learn more about Bitcoin, you'll become more confident in your long-term investment.

Modric is a great asset for the club, in fact I wouldn't have let Modric leave Madrid , but Madrid's management want to keep their money and they respect that, so given these things the best thing is what happens, and now AC Milan have a great Midfielder who will surely bring good news to their team, there is no doubt about that, for me AC Milan will be in one of the best teams in Italy.
I might also think the same thing about AC Milan's new season. Besides Modric, I am personally quite optimistic about AC Milan because I believe that Massimiliano Allegri will be able to maximize the depth of AC Milan's current squad. As for Modric, I initially thought he would retire at Real Madrid. I had heard that in previous seasons. But it seems the player was unable to renew his contract there while he still wanted to play.

But it's perfectly natural that Real Madrid would eventually release him when his contract expires, as he's already 39 years old. Real Madrid are currently struggling with their squad, which has begun to be revamped and filled with young players. However, AC Milan were fortunate enough to acquire Modric for free in the transfer window. Although Modric is no longer young, I believe his experience and skills on the pitch are still excellent, and he will certainly become a very reliable player. Even though he's 39, I feel he hasn't lost his sharpness. One of the problems might simply be stamina.

Re: what makes a good trader?
by
Uruhara
on 24/07/2025, 18:58:39 UTC
Everything OP mentioned is indeed the basics that a trader must master. And all of them are very important and nothing should be overlooked. Because basically, if you want to become a professional trader or a good trader, mastering all types of analysis is a must. I also learn analysis gradually, even though I haven’t mastered everything yet. But at least I know which analyses I need to study and master eventually. Such as

1. Technical analysis, which is very important for reading patterns and market history. This includes analyzing trading volume, market trends, market chart history, and other factors that can be identified through technical analysis.

2. Fundamental analysis, to determine the potential and condition of the assets we will trade. And also to identify specific or global market conditions so we know which ones truly have potential or good opportunities that we should enter or even avoid.

3. Sentiment analysis is also extremely important because the final decision from all analyses can often be determined after conducting this sentiment analysis. Through this analysis, we can understand the sentiment in the market. Whether it's the impact of a news story, whether the market trend is currently hyped, whether greed and fear among market participants are strengthening or weakening, and so on. Typically, this analysis also helps us determine when to enter a hyped coin and when to exit before the hype subsides. This analysis also involves market psychology analysis.

What happened? I was really surprised by this news. Because initially I thought Sancho would be Juventus' top priority in this transfer window. Sancho has characteristics that I think would be very useful for Juventus. After reading the news you shared, I also looked for other sources. And it seems that the negotiation process between Juventus and MU has indeed been halted.

However, I think it's still unclear whether Juventus will back out or not. But if Juventus does indeed withdraw from the race to sign Sancho, then Jadon Sancho's future there will be very bleak. Because Ruben Amorim hasn't even included him in his plans for the new season. He might end up being loaned out to another club.

Juventus may not back down from signing Sancho. However, I think Juventus is delaying the negotiation process for this player. This is because Juventus has just signed rookie Conceicao from Porto for €32 million. This means Juventus must rethink its player transfer budget before continuing its efforts to sign Sancho from Manchester United.

Currently, Juventus may try to sell some of their players to secure sufficient transfer funds to bring in Sancho. According to recent reports, Juventus plans to sell Timothy Weah to Marseille for 15 million euros. It is reported that once this deal is finalized, Juventus will proceed with its plans to sign Sancho.

However, there is another report stating that Inter Milan is also quietly monitoring Sancho. It is said that if Juventus withdraws, Inter Milan may step in to pursue Sancho. Therefore, I believe Sancho still has a chance to leave Manchester United, although we do not know where he will go for certain.

If this is the case, then I think I understand why Juventus has temporarily halted negotiations to sign Sancho from Manchester United. In other words, Juventus simply doesn’t have the budget to sign Sancho yet, right? So they’re currently trying to sell players to other clubs and use the money to sign Sancho. However, I think this is a pretty tough situation for both Juventus and Sancho, especially Sancho. Because with this, his hopes of moving to Juventus are now very unclear.

I think it would be great if Inter Milan were to express their interest in signing Sancho. Because I believe Sancho would also be willing to move to Inter Milan. Because I think at Inter Milan, Sancho would truly be a player who is greatly needed and even become the first choice. However, before that, there must first be clarity regarding the discussions with Juventus.

Re: What Does "Being Rich" Even Mean Anymore?
by
Uruhara
on 24/07/2025, 14:18:15 UTC
So I ask you:
- Has your life changed with the "growth" of your country?
- Do you feel more secure, or less?
- If you could choose, would you want more money, more time, or more trust in people?
I don't even know if my country is growing for the better or if it is getting worse or if it is just standing still with no change at all. I have become completely numb to everything related to the progress of my own country. It's not that I don't love my homeland, but I have become so disappointed with everything related to the state of the nation. So, it has no impact on me at all. At least that’s how I feel.

As for feeling safe, well, I feel safe. Because in my country or in my area, everything feels quite safe. Even when I sleep, I’m not too worried about whether the door to my house is locked. (But that’s the situation in my hometown, and it’s different in other areas) because different areas here have different situations.   Grin

If I had to choose between money, time, or trust in others, or perhaps comfort, it would be a difficult choice between time and more trust in others. Because both are very necessary. However, I think time is the most valuable thing that anyone could want. Even if we have a lot of money, if we don't have the time to enjoy it, I don't think it's of any use. So I think time is what I would choose.

Yeah, I read somewhere that AC Milan and Napoli made an approach but Jackson rejected it because he want to stay in the Premier league. Manchester united is showing keen interest but seriously speaking, the 70m Chelsea is expecting is too much for Jackson considering his current form. I know Jackson is not that bad when compared to the likes of Nunez, Hojlund and Havertz statically but regardless, 70m should be able to afford like three players at Jackson level. Chelsea bought this guy 30m and there hasn't been a positive transformation since then that will increase his market value to what Chelsea is currently demanding.
It seems that Chelsea is overly confident in its assessment of Nicolas Jackson. Or perhaps Chelsea has raised Nicolas Jackson's price because they have no intention of letting him go easily. Or it could be that this player is still part of the club's plans for the new season, meaning he is still very much needed. Therefore, if any team wants him, they will have to be willing to pay that high price. I think this is the only somewhat reasonable explanation. Because if Chelsea wanted to let him go, they wouldn't price him so high that it would deter any club interested in pursuing him.

And speaking of Chelsea, they truly seem like a club that never runs out of money when it comes to signing players in the transfer market. Currently, Chelsea has already signed 7 new players. Although the number of players released is also 7. Even though Chelsea has released and signed the same number of players, the amount of money spent by Chelsea is still significantly higher than the amount received from the sale of several players in the current transfer window.

That's why they almost kneeled to CR7 to make him stay, they didn't let him go from Arabia, so they know why they do it, I'm sure another player would let him go, it doesn't matter, but CR7 brings fame, money and is bringing more interest to this league, I myself didn't follow this league before, now I follow it, in fact I used to follow the African league more because I think there is a lot of talent and I like the football they have there.

Well, one of the strongest proofs of CR7's appeal that we can feel firsthand is that even those of us who didn't follow the Saudi Pro League before are now starting to follow it since CR7 joined Al-Nassr. And what's funny is that even though there are many European star players joining SPL clubs, we're still more interested in watching CR7 at Al-Nassr. Even Benzema is rarely discussed these days. The same goes for Neymar, who seems to have been almost forgotten and rarely mentioned. This is because CR7's fame far surpasses that of all other football stars today. It's only natural that Al-Nassr would do whatever it takes to extend the contract of this football legend. In fact, CR7 is reported to own nearly 15% of Al-Nassr's shares, giving him special rights within the club.

Yes, the big teams in the Premier League are indeed competing to strengthen their squads for next season. That's why these teams are making quite aggressive and expensive player purchases. Speaking of Manchester City, I think this team also brought in quite a lot of players in this transfer window. Although the players Manchester City brought in weren't as expensive as those brought in by rival teams, I'm sure Pep had a strong reason for bringing in only those players. Perhaps Manchester City currently has sufficient squad depth, so perhaps for that reason Pep didn't bring in expensive players in this transfer window. Because due to the declining performance that befell Manchester City last season, I don't think it was due to the players being bad. But rather, it was caused by the declining chemistry between the players. So, perhaps because of that, Pep didn't need expensive players to be brought in this transfer window.
Manchester City is indeed one of the most active clubs in the transfer market this season. Last season, they were not very active, but this time Manchester City has prepared much better. So far, Manchester City has signed around five players. They are
1. Tijjani Reijnders
2. Rayan Aït-Nouri
3. Rayan Cherki
4. Sverre Nypan
5. Marcus Bettinelli

And what's interesting is that Liverpool is doing the same. Liverpool wasn't very active in the previous transfer window, but in this transfer window, Liverpool has also become very aggressive in pursuing new players. Currently, Liverpool has successfully brought in five new players to their squad. They are
1. Florian Wirtz
2. Milos Kerkez
3. Jeremie Frimpong
4. Ármin Pécsi
5. Freddie Woodman

I think Manchester City and Liverpool will be in a fierce competition this season. Arsenal and Chelsea will also be in the mix. However, among all Premier League clubs, Chelsea is currently the most active in the transfer market, having signed around seven new players, with an average age that is quite young.

Now there are reports that Juventus may cancel the signing of Sancho. This is because Juventus has just made Francisco Conceicao's move from FC Porto permanent.
(sourch: https://vivagoal.com/mulai-ragu-juventus-batal-amankan-sancho/)

To be honest, I'm starting to feel sorry for Sancho, whose fate may be a little uncertain and who has no certainty in this preseason. Even at Man United, he is reportedly not part of Amorim's plans.

Napoli seems to remain one of the most active clubs in this summer's transfer window. They have signed several new players during this transfer window. According to current data, Napoli has already brought in seven new players, including one on loan from Udinese. However, I was also quite surprised to learn that, in addition to signing many new players, the team has also released several players during the transfer window. Some of these players had their contracts expire, while others were sold to other clubs. Nevertheless, it is clear that Napoli is actively renewing its squad. Conte appears to have significant ambitions for the upcoming season. I hope he succeeds.

However, I am still curious about Osimhen's fate. Has he officially joined Galatasaray or not? I haven't read any recent news about this player in the last few days. But I think the deal should have been finalized by now, because I think the deadline has passed. Does anyone know?

And the fact is that Hansi Flick has approved and talked with Rashford since January, meaning this is since the issue about Nico William is still hyped in Barcelona, right? It means Hansi Flick already knows that Nico will not go to Barcelona and as said that Hansi Flick is indeed looking for players who are available and strong in several positions.

Source: Hansi Flick APPROVED Marcus Rashford since January

According to a news report, Rashford won't immediately be a key starter in the lineup. However, this doesn't mean his role isn't important. He will be a key player on the bench, available for various rotations.

Source: ansi Flick on Marcus Rashford
Now everything makes more sense, considering Barcelona already has key players in the main squad for the front line. However, if Rashford can become a superior player, it's not impossible that he will earn a place in the first team at Barcelona. I feel Rashford will be truly relied upon at some point at Barcelona. He hasn't been able to show his best at his previous club, and I think he will be able to do that at Barcelona.

And Rashford must also know this, as he's already spoken about it. So, he's prepared for this. Even though he won't be a first-choice player right now, he surely sees that he'll have a good opportunity eventually. Rashford is incredibly fortunate to be joining Barcelona.

With this, Barcelona got another new player in the transfer market after previously Barcelona got a new goalkeeper from Espanyol, namely Joan Garcia.

Rodrygo was one of the most useful players last season. I don't understand why he was left out when Alonso arrived.
I didn't see him at the Club World Cup. I thought he was injured, but it turns out he was in a different situation.
If he's not in Real's plans, Rodrygo leaving would be beneficial for him. Many clubs would want him. If he wants to leave, there are plenty of clubs in the Arabian League interested in him.
He's a useful player, but as far as I can tell, he doesn't fit into Alonso's system.
Well, that's what happens. Sometimes, even when there's a change of coach, even players we consider good players are deemed incompatible with the new manager. This has happened frequently at several clubs. But don't worry, Rodrygo will definitely have no trouble finding a club that wants his services on the pitch. He possesses the quality we've all witnessed.

In fact, it's rumored that Liverpool and Arsenal are also interested in this player.1 And I wouldn't be surprised if Liverpool tried to pry Rodrygo away from Liverpool. The problem is, Real Madrid will certainly ask a fairly high price for their player. But if Real Madrid doesn't use him, the negotiation process will certainly make it easier for this player to find a new club. And I hope he goes to a Premier League club.

Last season, Ranieri successfully revived AS Roma from a position quite close to the relegation zone. And I think if AS Roma had been in the top 10 before Ranieri arrived, they might have competed for the title or a Champions League spot. However, before Ranieri arrived, AS Roma were already quite close to the relegation zone. Returning AS Roma to the top 10 would have been an extraordinary achievement. But Ranieri went beyond that. He brought AS Roma close to a Champions League spot. And ultimately, AS Roma secured a Europa League spot. And that's quite an extraordinary achievement for Ranieri.

Regarding Gasperini, I don't doubt this coach's quality. However, we shouldn't expect much from his first season at AS Roma. There will still be adjustments and adaptations that usually take time. However, if Gasperini succeeds immediately from the start of the season, that would be commendable.

Ranieri actually retired last season. However, because he felt called to revive AS Roma, he canceled his retirement and decided to coach AS Roma until the end of the season. And he impressed everyone. And now he can retire from coaching, although he's still involved in football. He's only retired as a coach. And yes, as planned from the start, Ranieri will become an advisor to AS Roma. And yes, this is a good thing for Ranieri and the team.

Ranieri certainly performed a miracle last season, saving Roma from oblivion.
The fact that he gave up the challenge of the national team to dedicate himself to being a special advisor to Roma speaks volumes about his, so to speak, professionalism.
At least he will be truly unforgettable, both in the Premier League and in Serie A. We know he once led Leicester City to the Premier League title in extraordinary fashion there. And that was a moment no one there will ever forget. And now, at the end of his coaching career, he also made everyone remember him by successfully lifting AS Roma from a fairly low ranking back to the top five and securing a ticket to the Europa League. And that was in a short time, just half a season. Ranieri really made a strong impression at the end of his career. And now he is an advisor to AS Roma, as originally planned. And yes, he is a professional. And I personally really respect Ranieri.

All I'm thinking about now is whether AS Roma with Gasperini will succeed or not. But I believe Gasperini will be able to keep AS Roma at a decent level. But I don't know if Gasperini will lead AS Roma to become a title contender in Serie A.

Discipline is where Rashford lacks indeed. I agree. This is why he hasn't been wanted by Manchester United anymore. But his high price tag was making things more difficult for him to get an offer.

I didn't expect Barcelona to make the move honestly. But nice to see it is on loan. Hansi Flick must have preferred to be cautious. He would like to see whether he will obey the rules first and then maybe they can activate the option to buy.

The option to buy is 35 million euros if I'm not wrong.
Rashford simply didn't fit in at Manchester United under the manager at the time. And I actually believe Rashford could be more disciplined when he finds a club where he truly feels comfortable. However, I personally remain puzzled as to why Barcelona, who have no shortage of good forwards, are still trying to add a player like Rashford. This could be due to Barcelona's failure to sign Nico Williams. Barcelona also failed to secure other options, so now all they can get is Rashford.

Rashford is a player of undoubted brilliance. He was loaned to Aston Villa last season and performed quite well there. So I think he'll do very well at Barcelona, as Hansi Flick will know how to maximize this player's potential. Rashford himself has expressed his desire to play alongside Barcelona's young star, Lamine Yamal. And now that's about to happen.

Even when the management changes - the game won't change anytime soon, if at all. When another management comes, there are completely different projects that take several years to realise, so you can't expect quick results. But as it turned out, there is no point in changing the coach either, nothing will help them, it is not the team that needs to be changed, but the approach to work on the management side
Yes. Even changing coaches too often can sometimes have a negative impact on a team experiencing setbacks. A new coach will inevitably bring new strategies and coaching styles. Adaptation will occur, both for established players and new arrivals. None of this will be easy. And the results won't be as immediate as imagined. It will take time. But if the current management can solve this team's problems quickly, I'd truly commend them. However, I doubt Manchester United will be able to bounce back immediately at the start of the season. The team's chances of improving are likely to be towards the midpoint of the season. Amorim is a great coach, but he's usually the type of coach who needs time to maximize team performance, as he demonstrated at his previous club, Sporting CP.
