Re: What do you think will happen to Bitcoin in 100 years?

Bitcoin itself will be long dead, but the ecosystem it created will be thriving with advanced tech cryptos. For you see bitcoin was actually a proof of concept; Satoshi hadn’t intended for the actual network that he launched to come as far as it has.

also this person appears to have quite a bit of background looking into the site

Hey thanks for the shout out man, I appreciate it. I’m not on here very often but I just wanted you to know that the scammer’s “new” site is also offline now, so perhaps authorities yanked it or he just gave up. Either way, I’m glad and it shows that being vocal about it wasn’t completely in vain. Now I just wish they’d actually catch the rat behind it all. Maybe in time, as bitcoin becomes taken more seriously and cyberforensics improve.

Re: Vanity address scam rising

I remeber stumbling into a website sometime in 2017, where you have a Barcode that just requires you to hover your cursor and then it comes out with some random private key and wallet address and then you save it as a paper wallet and you can actually use it to spend your bitcoin anytime you want, although, bitccoin was way below $3000 but the risk was lesser as such projects might be genuine but today, such will be a disaster as fraudsters have infiltrated all projects that creates avenue for easy useage of bitcoin. I do not advise anyone to use such these days as you might entirely loose your assets.

The idea of generating Bitcoin address with some character or string of your choice instead of generating random string of characters is known as Vanity address which was first introduced by Vanitygen who produces address taking inputs from you and giving results on that basis. The amount of time required to find a given pattern depends on how complex the pattern is, the speed of the computer, whether it is using CPU or GPU, and if you get lucky.

There are many mining pools who take fees from you for you desired Bitcoin addresses as they have more computing power dedicated to the network instead of individuals computing power

It is a costly and time consuming process  :

Average time taken to crack address

But in recent time these type of scams has grown and hacker are fooling people by generating fake vanity address in name of big organisations and people to lure people to donate to that particular address as most of them don't remember full length of address as its mixture of lower and upper case and integers. A recent report states such scam

]Fake vanity address in name of Elon Musk and Spacex accused of
$2 million scam

So is it profitable for hackers and how much easy it is generate such vanity address? And its cannot be done by a single individual because it's require much processing power and other things. So what are your thoughts on this?

Yep, and while we’re on the topic of vanity addresses I thought I’d just drop this here: https://ushertechs.com/the-bitcoinvanitygen-scam

Re: Vanity wallet SCAM Move FUNDS ASAP

I too was hacked from a vanity wallet.  I made two wallets, one for me and one for my 6 year old son.  Both wallets were emptied and the funds sent to the same address on the same day.  Over 1.2 BTC stolen.  I had doubts about the security when I made the wallets.  I should have trusted my instincts.
I have been in the crypto space long enough to know that nothing can be done about this.  If anybody thinks otherwise let me know.

Often tine I have cone across this two words Trading anf Investing but as a beginner in the cryptosphere I have done many research but its actually storage and difficult for me to understand. It will be a pleasure to gain knowledge from various experts based on Trading and Investing to avoid losing my funds in the race. Thanks
To avoid loosing your funds FIAT/BTC first focus on security of your operations and hardware (PC/smartphone/laptop).
Then decide if you want to be active in your journey so trading buying low and selling high (day trading) or you want to just buy bitcoin and HODL.

Thats it, read as much as you can about bitcoin, security and news. Good luck! (btw dont write titles in caps its not good)

Yeah, and don't EVER use any address generated from bitcoinvanitygen.com, this Velkro asshole owns it and will steal whatever you send to it.

I sincerely apologize. I took care of that. I tested BitSpeed myself and lost money on it. I recommended them prematurely. They're gone. I included some legit ways now . Please check the page again and let me know if you have any objections to any methods on the list.
This can harm your reputation even if your intentions were honest.
Earning free bitcoin is like earning free gold bars. Earn gold bar just click on link X, congratulations you earned 0,00000000001% of gold bar, cash out at 1 gold bar Tongue. Faucets were viable years ago, now they are too expensive to be real. It would be better to make project to make newbies play with bitcoin back and forth sending from addresses to anywhere (even virtually to learn by that).

Lol who the fuck are you to talk about "reputation"? It's obvious just by looking at your profile you're just another faggot scammer. Any newbies reading this, look up "bitcoinvanitygen.com" on this site and be blown away by the number of scam warnings. As for you Velkro, go get fucked in the ass by a goat.
