No! DDoS protection.

I'm asking about the company's reputation. They have great specs but don't know whether it is vapors are or not.

Hi all,

I'm selling a full, ready-to-mine package of 20 Gridseeds in a one-day auction, currently listed on eBay.  These miners have only been used long enough to test that they all function well.  I just finished getting the rig set up last night.  NOTE: I have not done ANY configuring on Scripta to optimize performance.  The miners are running at 300 khs, but I'm sure you all know how to get those numbers up!

Includes:
- 20 Gridseed 5-chip
- 350 W PSU with custom power cable, 20 plugs in one
- 24-port USB hub and 22 USB cables (miners, Raspberry Pi power and hub connection)
- Raspberry Pi running Scripta, 16 GB SD card
- I'll be shipping out in all the original packaging these were received in, plus packaging for the components I've acquired to complete the full setup.

If you're interested and you can contact me before I received bids or Buy It Now, I'd be willing to take the auction down and negotiate.

Please be aware I will be unable to respond to any messages prior to 9am Central Time 4/12/2014

Alright, who knows Gridseed circuit boards better than anyone else?

I got myself into a polarity snafu. Not entirely sure how, though I'm guessing what appeared to be a PCI-e was actually a CPU input, which I believe crossover. Or the yellow was actually the negative and the black the positive. It is what it is.

My Gridseed popped when I plugged it in. I dismantled it, and saw one of the fan wires had blown off, so I soldered it back on and the fan runs fine now.

However, I don't know whether further irreparable damage has been done. I don't have my horde of USB cables in yet nor have I configured my Raspberry Pi yet so I can't test the miner just yet.  But I have a picture and I'm hoping someone can take a stab at where I stand.

Just curious if anyone has upgraded their R9 290s on BAMT with the new Beta Drivers.  Curious if there's been any positive or negative performance impact.

Scrypt mining of course

SGMiner - Auto-fan not doing its job, and can't set static fan speed
by

on 17/03/2014, 06:08:35 UTC
Hi all,

I'm running SGminer on BAMT and I've been working on optimzation all night.  But right now I'm struggling on temps.

I have three R9 290s and one HD 7850, and I'm averaging around 2700-3100 khs between the three.

But my temps on the 290s are out of hand.  I have had auto-fan in my conf file, and then I tried to make a static fan speed, but I can't get above about 50% fan speed no matter the settings I put in.

I've got a box fan pounding away too, but still seeing temps around 93-94 on the 290s, and fan speed at 48-53%

Thanks for any

Seeking Guide for Solo Mining in BAMT
by
VMey
on 16/03/2014, 06:02:24 UTC
Hello,

I can't seem to locate a guide on solo mining in BAMT.  My wallet is on a Windows machine, and I remote in to my rig which is running BAMT.

I've found a few guides on configuring the .conf files, but that seems to mostly be when you're using the same machine the wallet is located on.  I need to figure out how to make my BAMT machine the powerhouse feeding my Windows wallet.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks for the offers.  I've completed a transaction at a favorable rate, so my offer is off the table for now.

Let me shift this up.  At the moment, I'm willing to spend .117375 BTC.  Anyone interested in selling SLR to me can PM with a quantity of SLR you're willing to part with.

I'm getting some hardware in in a couple of days which will be dedicated to SLR, so I won't always be looking to buy in bulk.

I suppose I'm a newbie as I haven't posted at all, and I've only been registered about 10 days.  That's pretty much because I spent most of my time reading.

That being said, I'm looking to buy SLR.  Up to 100k.  PM with offers, or rants about how you'd never sell to a newbie.  Either work for me.
