Pull not pool. It's a git thing.
Tpruvot is testing it on older cards, then he will merge it into the main source tree.
If you know how to patch a file you can use it already, otherwise wait for a release.

Can't mine ETH.. It makes my computer laggy as f*ck. When writing letters come to screen after 2 secs, and mouse pointer is lagging too. Can't really do anything when mining eth.

GPU mining is really a thing of past I would not invest much time as so many are pump/dump. If you already have gear... eth is going to be best option. But again I don't suggest GPU mining for most.
Buying new GPU's is expensive... and turning a profit is not easy like it was years ago where 3 month ROI's were almost guaranteed. Also I would not mine on a PC your using as you mention lag. Dedicated mining machine is more practical, due to high intensity needed in most cases.
you don't need to roi with gpu you sell them after they are not profitable, it's a win win condition, better than any asic crap

You don't have to worry about ASICs coming in and start mining ETH.
You should worry about the GPUs that everybody is buying right now and increasing the hashrate or that price won't crash.

you should worry more about those with cheap electricty, those are the real plague that promote centralization, gpu or asic
You don't have to worry about ASICs coming in and start mining ETH.
I dont think that would be happening ever cause if it gets to POS algo then it is pretty much useless IMO.Mining would be at its best when funded by itself & not by any jobs or other assets.
PoS will start early next year, so there is no need to worry about ASIC.

Hrmm at this point I cannot remember the title but I remember it said tpruvot 1.7 or so. Obviously a scam since when after the fact I went to the github and saw tpruvot wasn't even on 1.7 - lol - hind sight is always 20/20.

Some people confused ccminer having malicious code instead of Oxen which was malicious.
cryptomining blog really? that site is huge for mining, how they can not check for malicious code, are they stupid? what was the miner with the virus?
Apparently people can hide their malicious stuff with FUD crypters so the virus can't be detected and can be triggered anytime, even like months later.
it's not about antivirus, it's about code checking, no virus can be hidden if you have the source and you know what you're doing

how to set "no submit stale" and queue?
queue: afaiks, it's only for getwork.
stales: why do you bother not submitting them? is the pool penalizing you for that?
