Shouldn't get complacent. Apparently XP is planning to spam votes at the last second. Need to get as many as we can to get listed.

For readers, here's the guy OP has been saying has nothing to do with waltonchain. The ex VP. The guy with all the published papers and patents.

Still a scam?

Yeah, OP - your thread is dead. It's over for your hypothesis.

And what do you think of this article discussing Walton Chain on a .gov.cn website? Is this fake news too?

Sorry, the website www.dongshanisland.gov.cn cannot be found.

The problem is on your end. Try a different browser.

Your unwillingness to respond to my request for evidence of your conversation with Septwolves heavily suggests you are a liar.

Why didn't you reply to my comment earlier?

You are attempting to collect evidence that Walton is a scam, but you failed to record that evidence when you had a conversation with Septwolves.

Can you see why that makes you look like a liar? I can make up a fake conversation too, but if I set out with a task to prove something I would be certain to actually collect proof.

I have spoken to Fujian Septwolves Industry Co Ltd  +86 59 2537 7777

They are unaware of Walton Chain (WTC). As a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, they have a legal obligation to disclose any partnership that would have a material impact on the business. The company does not know who Xu Fang is (according to Walton Chain he is the project sponsor and "seven wolves company supply chain management director"). Xu Fang is certainly not listed in any company filings going back several years:

https://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/people.asp?privcapId=12763522

This was the only thing in your post I found interesting. If you spoke to them you should have evidence of the conversation. Post it here so we can see/hear what was said.

Re: BAT - Basic Attention Token ICO (31-5-17)- Worth Investing?
by

Lol, this was insane...

Even if 10x more tokens would have been made, I'm sure in 15 minutes it would sold out...
All of the BAT tokens sold out in less than 30 seconds. That makes no sense for me. This just for the huge investors because they are putting the high fees. Iconomi and taas bought a lot of BAT tokens. That means a lot of shares have hold by them. This is the new history in ico. BAT is really over priced right now.
that is so quick no wonder why someone is holding 24% of the tokens and the other high holders 8% and 7% of the token the token gave their investor 3x profit especially the guy who bought 24% of the tokens

The top two accounts are the new user pool (i.e. free tokens for new users) and the dev address. They are not ICO participants.

Hi how much disk space take that etherum wallet after synch ?

I think it is around 13 to 15GB.

I use Parity, which is another Ethereum client that uses around 9.5GB of space. It is very good - I prefer it to Mist (i.e. Ethereum Wallet)

Alternatively you could use something like Exodus or Jaxx, which are light clients that do not require you to store the blockchain so have very low storage requirements.

Tried to install the Ethereum Wallet yesterday.

Ethereum is described by Vitalik as a fuel. You need a fuel tank to store it, not wallet.

The app is literally called "Ethereum Wallet"

Tried to install the Ethereum Wallet yesterday.

It seems to have a serious first start issue. If for any chance it get's the wrong nodes on first start up it is stuck at around 3 mil open blocks.
It always sees a few nodes 1 to 3 and the 3 mil change up and down but never synchs.

After fighting it a few hours I backed up my files and wiped all files except the one in keystore.
(I found no option/console to tell ethereum to resynch the block chain or do anything for a recovery!?)
Installed it again and now it synchronizes finally.

Question: Is my passwort and the file in the Ethereum/keystore the only file I need to backup or do I need to backup more?

I still haven't figured out what Ethereum is really usefull for... but seems a lot see a value in it so I best don't ignore it completly. I need it for diversifications.

Fatman has been in league with Vitalik since the get-go. He knew Vitaliks sins coz Vitalik recognized him as a holy farther to whom he confessed not only of wrongdoing but of everything he had on his hugely innovative mind including but not limited to, knowledge about insider trading, price manipulations and the truth about the dao hacker. Lets say if fatman knew that Vitalik hacked the DAO which spurred the fork, he, fatman, would very fast come to realization that vitalik has plans on ETC.

Best result of that fork is, that all those nuts have been moving away from ETH and now are rallying round ETC.
It has been such a nice clean up operation.   Wink

I've often thought that. All the really nutty zealots are now outside of the community rather than inside. It was like taking a potent laxative.

Read in polo that there is some ETH news on the 14th...tried searching, but couldn't get anything.. Does anyone knows anything about it? Thanks in advance.

There is going to be some EEA news at some point soon, and there were initially rumours going around that it would be on the 14th, however the dude on r/ethereum who is organising the EEA shit said it was probably going to be early next month, not the 14th.

thanks Vaelin (you golden god), I found the location. it was in User, then mostly all the folders you mentioned. Coins came back after a blockchain rescan.

updates are always a nerve wracking process for me.

I am pleased it worked for you.

Do you have your seed written down somewhere? That would be my go to solution if I couldn't figure out what to do with the .dat file. You should have it anyway incase your hard drive corrupts/laptop gets stolen. You don't want to leave that up to fate.

pardon my ignorance, what's a seed?

A seed is a 12 to 24 word phrase that you can use to restore your wallet. As long as you have those words, you will always be able to restore your wallet. Most wallets have an option to restore when you first load it. You would just type those words in and it will generate your private key.

That seed should be the foundation of your financial security in crypto. If you don't have that seed, you are skating on thin ice.

Find the seed (which you should be able to make visible somewhere in the Dash core wallet), write it down, then keep it somewhere very safe. Keep in mind that if anyone else gets a hold of that seed, they can rapidly steal all your coins.

Thank you, I am skating on thin ice Sad

I don't know my word phrase. I'll see if it is possible to still figure this out.

It definitely will be.

Lukas is right though. Slack will be a good place to figure this out. Not least because there will be people there familiar with the software you're using, and you can get help in real time.

To tell you all the truth I am amazed that ICN is being traded as high as it is now, because the price is based entirely on people's belief that the project will succeed, there is literally nothing else giving the token real value at the moment. That's amazing and shows how much confidence everyone has in ICONOMI.

That is the case with basically every crypto.

There is no solid ground for Dash.  It's just a fork of Bitcoin, so if Bitcoin fails it will too.

Only if the cause of Bitcoin's failure is a piece of code that Dash hasn't altered. Given that Bitcoin is an 18 billion dollar honey pot, we know that it has undergone rigorous battle testing. If it does fail, it will be caused by its complete failure to take decisive action on an essential topic. Dash has a different governance model which does not share the same vulnerabilities.

That's the way to do it... Now you can sit back, relax and wait for $2500 per dash in a few years, especially if bitcoin doesn't get it's act together :-)

The trick is to not get too greedy.
