Cheers guys,

That makes sense. The token economy and the new economic models are being formed around smart contracts are fascinating but I was out of crypto shortly before the Ethereum crowdsale so didn't get to watch (or profit from) it all growing up organically.

Appreciate the assist.

Bounty Campaigns

Potentially a stupid question but I'm trying to get my head around the elements of an ICO. I keep seeing the term used but I'm not sure what it refers to in this context.

I've checked a few announcement threads but I'm still a bit lost, can anyone ELI5 it for me?

Thanks in advance,

Fundraising with ICOs

Right now it seems like the massive boom in icos is fairly unsustainable if every new venture or product has to try and establish an ecosystem to justify the long term existence of their coin or token.

Unfortunately as far as I can see the massive fundraising potential of ICOs is only possible due to the speculation value of coins being listed on exchanges and increasing in value.

In many cases the new token isn't necessary to the model beyond the initial fundraise. So what I'm wondering is whether there is an ICO model that preserves that speculation value for backers without requiring the long term success of a completely new ecosystem?

Hope this makes sense and isn't too rambly,

Generating Passive Income

Hey folks,

I realise that the simplest way to make a profit on crypto at the moment seems to be just buying and holding Bitcoin, but I'm curious if there are any coins or tokens designed specifically to generate ongoing passive income for holding them and if so, how they work?

Appreciate any replies,

Freelancers accepting payment in crypto

Mostly just curious if anybody has had success accepting payments for services in bitcoin or other crypto. It seems like the primary way to make money in the space is by speculating or just holding coins but one function of these coins is supposed to be as a unit of exchange after all.

If you're a freelancer or creative who accepts crypto-payments:

How do you do it?
What industry are you in?
How long have you been taking payments in crypto?

Thanks in advance for any responses,
