We want to thank you for your patience with us while we develop the Valorem Foundation platform.

Over the past 2 years, the Blockchain & Crypto Industry has seen many changes. 90% of blockchain projects failed on their promise and never delivered anything. The Valorem Foundation’s intention from the very beginning was to stand by our promises and use all funds for development and launch of our platform.

Our team takes great pride in being able to deliver on our promises and to keep developing our value-driven marketplace for our users.

During the last 2 years of development – all the funds we raised (plus our own financial investment) was spent on platform buildup and development. We want you to know that we are not going anywhere and that we are focused on launching, growing and improving our platform now – MORE THAN EVER BEFORE!

In a few short days, we will be launching our “Trust Me” Marketplace. It will allow users to communicate and complete simple transactions via the VLR token.

We are building the platform with the users in mind and the future of their financial freedom as our main priority. Once we grow our user base and expand the features of our application, we will achieve our secondary goal of empowering our community and strengthening the value of the VLR token.

What does that mean? This means, that for the first time ever, with proper implementation of KYC and our Secure Escrow a user in one country or state, will be able to purchase a product or a service from someone in a completely different location using the VLR token with little limitations.

Buyers and Sellers will be able to communicate securely, agree on terms and conditions and then complete a deal. They will be able to utilize our secure escrow feature to safeguard their transaction in case of non-performance. Thus, being able to transact securely on the “Trust Me” Marketplace – and that’s just the beginning!

How is this different from any other platform out there? The difference between the “Trust Me” Marketplace and any other is that your actions, your value and your sweat equity will have a direct impact on the strength of the value of the VLR token on the marketplace.

The more users that will use the application, the more the VLR will be worth - organically.

Unlike others, we do not plan on manipulating the exchanges. We do not want nor need to do that.

The value of the VLR Token is set at $0.50/token.

Why is the VLR so important? Our application holds the key to a successful and inflation/deflation proof ecosystem for our users. There are lots of applications out there that simply believe in the fiat currencies of their countries. We believe that we can create a value rich ecosystem simply by letting our users’ trade freely and safely with one another.

We believe that if we can empower our users with simple tools to buy, sell, lend, borrow and invest, then VLR can become a significant store of value on our platform.

What is being released?

During the last few months, we have created a framework as to how the rest of the application will be built. This framework has in its center, the “Trust Me” Marketplace.

The “Trust Me” Marketplace will allow P2P. B2C and B2B transactions of all types. A user can have unlimited posts and can conduct commerce with anyone on the application once they have been verified via our KYC procedure.

While all transactions will be moderated in the beginning we will seek feedback to improve the marketplace and will work to do so. We are focused on expanding and growing the user base and allowing transactions to flourish and evolve with customer demand.

We are excited to say that we are slowly moving towards our goal of a fully functioning platform.

As foundation is the most important of a steady user experience, our first move was to create a simple and easy to use Profile Section for each user. Last week we made live a public and private profile update for every user.

Update 1: The Public Profile Link on your user navigation take you to a Public url link that each user can share with others. This is helpful for each user when you want to someone outside the application (or inside) to see your Bio (About Me), Reviews (USER REVIEWS), Active Platform Posts (ACTIVE POSTS), Posts Your Shared with Others (SHARED POSTS) & Completed Transactions (COMPLETED POSTS); as well as KYC status on the application. This section will be updated with transactions that each user personally participates in the future.

Update 3: The most common element between users is their email address. As the functions of the platform expand we want people to start using each other’s email addresses to send tokens to each other.

For this reason, we have created a feature where you can use a “known” email address of a known user to send VLR token to them instead of long and complicated Eth Addresses.

The features above are commonly used when the users are aware of each other’s intentions and needs with regard to the application. That is why we are currently working on implementing the following changes in the coming months that will take us  a giant leap closer to a complete user experience.  Once completed, we will load the financial features of the application.

Next updates will include:

Secure Messaging/Chat Feature allowing interaction between users so they can arrange, discuss and plan on how to process the various Loans/Investments/Trust Me/Hedge based transactions.

As a replacement for our loss of our processor SpicaPay, we have found a replacement and actively seeing how we can integrate with them. The functional processor will allow us to connect all global users under one Valorem Application. Stay tuned for more updates on this in the coming months as well.

Earlier this month, we received the following email from the SpicePay team. Needless to say, we are very disappointed that we have spent time integrating with them and after all that they are going out of business — just one month later.

We have already removed the functionality for using SpicePay from our site and will continue to develop new forms of FIAT payments for the Valorem Platform through reliable merchants.

Posting — On these pages the users will be able to see and participate in what the Valorem Community will offer with regard to Loans, Investments and Hedging and Trust Me.

After that we will develop the Chat functions, Announcements, and perfect the User Dashboard.

Once all these functions are running smoothly, we will implement the Loans, Investments and Hedging and Trust Me functions. All according to our Road Map.

The Death of SpicePay

Earlier this month, we received the following email from the SpicePay team. Needless to say, we are very disappointed that we have spent time integrating with them and after all that they are going out of business — just one month later.

We have already removed the functionality for using SpicePay from our site and will continue to develop new forms of FIAT payments for the Valorem Platform through reliable merchants.

We will announce a new processor partner as soon as an agreement is reached.
