Re: I think ethereum is the best crypto next to bitcoin.

Preach it brother, I'm with you there, ethereum has proven time and again its usefulness and the benefits it can bring not only as a technology but also as a company and platform, in this world of crowded altcoins is good to know that there is a cutting-edge technology that everyone is taking advantage of, and not just as an investment for its speculative value, but for its real utility value.

Re: SHOULD BUY BITCOIN NOW? THE PRICE IS HIGH?
by
Vampirepro
on 08/08/2018, 18:10:53 UTC
I think now is an excellent time to buy bitcoin, we are in a bear market with constant dips, but has not dropped from 6k so far, we could see in the last 3 days a drop from 7500 to 6500 you can imagine if you had invested in 6500 during the rise? you would have 1k profit if you had sold to 7500 so it is quite beneficial to buy on these dips, I do not think that btc is worth so little and we are all waiting for a rise, which for now has not happened but is unavoidable

Re: Are bounty managers to be blamed?
by

Maybe not completely, but they have some responsibility, here in altcoin subforum is a post about the manager needmoney, who has a lot of ICOs under his administration and there are several people in that post accusing him of being a scammer, I don't know what to think about it, because I haven't dealt with him directly, but I think he should be more careful with his reputation, since people put their trust, time and effort in their ICOs because it was supposedly recommended.

Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time.

I think it's good that you hold some bitcoin and re-invest in other currencies the rest, I'm not a big fan of holding for a long time, but with bitcoin you'll probably make a lot of money if you hold around for a few years, because bitcoin is here to stay, and also when bitcoin goes down so do most of the alts, so it's also wise to have other investments like in the stock market.

Re: IS ETHERDELTA SAFE?
by
Vampirepro
on 06/08/2018, 17:24:06 UTC
i don't think so, it's not really safe to enter your private key on a website. There isn't really anything wrong with the page itself, it's just that the method of creating a wallet and how you use it opens up attack vectors. Etherdelta smart contract is very safe, but as people found out months ago, a DNS hack caused people to get redirected to a fake ED page where any private key they entered was then emptied of funds. You could also get phished by getting linked to a fake site from places like this (misspellings like etherdetla.com are common for this kind of scam) where again, they take your key. Most of those attacks can be prevented if you're really careful with your wallet, but still.

Better to use Metamask or a Ledger Nano S.

Re: which exchange you usually trade ?

I usually use Bitstamp or Kraken, but you’re gonna have to deal with EURO pairs, so you’ll need a way of onboarding and withdrawing Euros. Revolut’s euro service is a full bank account and is probably the easiest for these smaller amounts.

I have heard very good opinions about localbitcoin too, I have friends in Latin America who use it a lot and so far haven't had any problems, it has escrow systems and works with reputations and a minimal fee, keep an eye on it too.

Re: Give me suggestion! I already lost my money.

I think it would be advisable to analyze your portfolio well and see if it is worth holding those coins that you have left, I would definitely keep half the btc you have left because the market is growing again and reaching new high prices since a few months, so this very promising, if the alts you have are eth, ripple or neo they're  also worthwhile to hover because they are coins with very good projections in a couple of years, of course, you have to be patient, but not worth losing such a big opportunity now just out of despair.

Re: Facebook against bitcoin?

If you listen to what was said. There were just too many giveaway scams. Too much phishing. There are some seriously terrible people in crypto that literally just need to get concrete shoes and taken out on a boat. Until that happens censoring them and keeping them from exploiting and taking advantage of people is a good step. Now if only Twitter could clean up their non-stop scam accounts. People fall for that and it's just sad

Maybe PFR other ones seem too competitive or not that interesting we don't need more privacy or smart contracts and ticketing and shopping is just a website trying to use crypto to get rich. Publica doesn't interest me seems like a long way out for a lot of authors to use it. Quarkchain may be a good bet if they are doing anything like EOS.

Escrow is not that many competition I've used escrow.com we need that for crypto but its also not that appealing. You should dig deeper.

Re: I invest only in ICOs
by
Vampirepro

Today, you can see a large number of ICO projects. It became so popular and fashionable that ICO decided to go all out: operations with crypto-currencies, manufacture, design of emoji, health, education ...

Blockchain allows investment to be made accessible, easy and safe.

But just do not forget that while the acceptance of participation in ICO is unreliable since no one can give you a guarantee of a return in case of failure of the precept, so you need to be wary of scammers.

Here are a couple of good sites that scan projects and put their ratings on which you can rely on when choosing an investment.

ICOmarks, ICObench, FoundICO, ICO Crunch, TrackICO, CryptoNext

Personally, I recommend Horyou. The project received the highest rating and has a ready-made product that wants to launch into global production.

Re: Do you really like master nodes?
by

on 02/08/2018, 06:16:25 UTC
there's a lot of masternode that are well worth to be considered. just dont go for the ones with RoI > 150%. thats mostly bullshit. to be honest, everything over 100% will not be working in the long term.

I would definitely recommend using a VPS. its easy to set up and cheap. you can easily run 10 masternodes on a 5$ VPS.

THC is not too bad. I'm considering running a THC masternode myself. will see how it turns out.

I think that's because of the link that some altcoins have with bitcoin, when the bitcoin goes up you can see many people selling their altcoins not to miss the rise of bitcoin, you can also see the opposite if some altcoin goes up, but it is much less noticeable because it would be 1vs1 and not all vs 1 as it happens with bitcoin, you have to remember that most people change from altcoin to bitcoin and from bitcoin to fiat if they want to make another investment

Re: Mass Bounty hunter or Full time crypto trader
by
Vampirepro
on 31/07/2018, 05:34:54 UTC
if you have enough money to invest and you don't like to sleep, it's better full time trading, since the profits are much higher, but keep in mind that this is more than an 8 hour job, I know several successful traders who work like 12 hours a day, setting alarms at night when the market is going down a lot to make the corresponding tradeo, so I prefer to make bounties, earn less but it's much more relaxed.

I am really bullish with Siacoin. Decentralised global cloud data storage which is truly redundant. The cloud storage market is growing by 44% a year and centralized players like Amazon lead the market. Their outage in March shows the weakness of centralized cloud storage. Sia is also cheaper than all the major players. I haven't been this excited about a project since the launch of Ethereum.

right now I'm participating in a bounty that looks quite promising, I joined the creators in telegram and it's quite active, I don't like airdrops very much because they don't generate worthy tokens, I would like in the future to do a translator campaign to generate a more stable income, I also know that the stakes of the translators are better because they are not distributed as much

Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC?
by
Vampirepro
on 30/07/2018, 04:28:51 UTC
It depends on how much you want to earn and how much you are willing to sell, I see bitcoin, along with eth and ripp the most stable coins on the market, these can leave you high profits if the hodleas for a long time, however if you want to bet and try to get rich in a week you can try to invest in an ICO that promises a lot, so you can make x100 in a month.

Re: Is the market recovering or just a big joke?
by

on 30/07/2018, 02:14:55 UTC
as long as its a speculative market, it is hard to give a definite answer.

as much as i hate reading about people's comments about crypto might or might not be a bubble, i have to admit, they are both right and wrong.

we know that if it is just a correction, prices will go exponentially high.

but the real question that bakes the cake is, if it really is a bubble, (and besides the fact that a massive amount of money is lost),

what comes after it?

Re: Will ICO die in 2018?
by
Vampirepro
on 29/07/2018, 02:07:09 UTC
I don't think they will die, but  we are going to see a change in their format and regulation, it is clear that certain rules will have to come into play so that governments don't ban them permanently, since they consider it practically gambling, and how to blame them when an entire team can disappear with all your investment without receiving a minimum punishment, it is very difficult to pursue these cases since you give the money voluntarily.

Re: As a successful trader, how do you cut your loss short?
by
Vampirepro
on 28/07/2018, 02:42:16 UTC
Don't overtrade, don't trade on margin. The latter is gambling because, despite the claims of some people, those extreme moves up and down are almost unpredictable, and on margin, you're likely facing drastic consequences.

That's only true for people who do not know how to properly margin trade thro. If they can't cover their positions in the event of black swan events, then they shouldn't be trading at all!

Re: Why aren't cryptocurrencies successful as a medium of payment
by
Vampirepro
on 26/07/2018, 03:27:53 UTC
I think most people don't use it as a means of payment because usually the fees can be consumed by your payment for example if you use bitcoin, also personally I find it difficult to use some promising coin to pay for something, because it's as if you were paying with an investment, as if you were taking gold to a store and thinking about paying the groceries with it.
