by

on 03/04/2018, 14:35:30 UTC
I found the news with the giveaway event from bountyhive with the amount of 1 ETH.

is this true?

please for more info about this.

thanks.

It is an obvious scam. They will post it in their site instead of Twitter if it is true. Asking Ethereum is also a sign that this scheme is bogus. Better check the site and ask them on their Official Telegram if the post is legit.

Re: Why Most of the ICO based on Ethereum Platform
by

on 31/03/2018, 09:40:43 UTC
Hello...Friends

Today lots of ICO's running Online and most of the ICO based on the ERC-20 platform. Why?
Because it is easier to create, there are no high standard qualification to create new token. Proven fast in terms of token transaction. Pioneer means if you are on Ethereum platform your coin will easily recognize because there are many community that is watching New Ethereum Token compared to other platform.

I know many people will oppose me but with few observations I can tell you the are scam, the pay just 2% ND keep the rest for themselves, I believe there are some who will agree with me
I haven't join bountyhive campaigns but I guess you are already aware of their rules and you already know that they are not transparent at all because they don' t have Spreadsheet. If you are uncomfortable, better not to join their bounty campaign and find other campaign that suit you.

Re: Send Bitcoin cash w/out Internet-how badly would want it?
by

Cointext launches beta release allowing users to send and receive bitcoin cash thru SMS without internet, and you don't even have to be well versed with cryptocurrency to use it.
How badly would wish this to be available in your country?
 Grin

The idea is good but what I'm concern of is the security itself. We all know that hackers can easily access SMS data. I read a lot of hacks that is being done via SMS even in SMS 2fa.

It is obvious that those who give positive comments here are getting paid. Majority of comments are non sense and has no basis why they say it is great, successful etc.  If this continue, this thread will be reported to the admin.

Re: Important Before following the bounty
by
VanKleiss
on 29/03/2018, 07:16:41 UTC
Hello, all. I am from Indonesia. I want to share, before you follow bounty, you must read this.

1. Before you follow bounty, you should find the coin information at icobench.com and or icomarks.com. If the coin is found, then I think the coin is good, probably not a scam.
2. Read carefully the rules given by the manager, not until you do not get the stake or point.
3. If you meet the rules, please follow and register the bounty.
4. You should monitor the thread, and monitor your stake or point spreadsheet.

May be useful.
ICO rating are not reliable because this ICO listing are being paid to be listed in their website. But you can use it as reference together with a research on their team and their whitepaper.

Re: ICO ban and #deletefacebook
by
VanKleiss
on 29/03/2018, 04:22:45 UTC
First was banning crypto currency ads specially ICO's.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/facebook-bans-cryptocurrency-ico-ads-because-of-deceptive-promotional-practices

We know its reason is to stop the scammers and also for misleading advertisements. But there are also good ones that are affected with it. Scared investors will withdraw if they see it came from a trusted or powerful person/company.

Now, #deletefacebook came. Looks like he found his rival and is somehow giving him a hard time.  Grin
What are they really? Fame whore? Facebook have been shaking the internet consecutively now. What is the purpose behind all of this? Is the money that he is receiving not yet enough from advertisements and now he wants to look cool?

https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/mar/23/elon-musk-delete-facebook-spacex-tesla-mark-zuckerberg

What else must the crypto world face being dragged by this? Of course we are affected, we are talking about the WWW where crypto is injected and cannot get out and we need those advertisements as far as we could to reach out those people that haven't heard a word about crypto currencies.
If it is a good ICO they will not get affected with this because there are many ways to advertise their ICO. Ot is lo a good step to clean u the mess or shitcoins in cryptocurrency. It is time to regulate ICO to avoid more scammers to made new coins everyday.

by

Will you encourage others to invest in crypto and explain to them that this is not a scam or a pyramiding activity?
I don't encourage others to invest in crypto unless he/she is interested in it. Encouraging and convincing them will only irritate them specially if they have a negative thought about crypto.

Re: It could take 2 years for the market to recover

I wish I was joking but this market will take at least 2 years to recover and build momentum again.
Market fundamentals have changed!
I don't think it will take 2 years to recover specially bitcoin. Cryptocurrency is different from stock market. The only affected by this are the  ones who hold shitcoins from the beginning. This kind of FUD will not affect long time traders except to those who invest last quarter of the year.

Re: AIRDROP HUNTERS!
by
VanKleiss
on 27/03/2018, 14:38:13 UTC
Several times I heard about airdrop hunters. They create many accounts from different IPs and participate in airdrops of different ICOs. But as soon as exchange starts, they sell all those tokens/coins. Did i understand correctly?

What is interesting how they affect ICOs value on the market?

For example, I am participating in KickCity’s airdrop today because I want to invest in this company. But I don’t think that all participants are eager to do the same. How it may affect the company’s future?

Btw, do somebody know about avaliable now Airdrops?
Airdrop is one way of advertising their ICO as long as there are only few token that is allocated in airdrop, it will not affect the price of ICO too much. It will ony happen if their is a huge allocation on airdrop and expect that even the dev will also dump it.

Re: Would you sell your Bitcoin 10% over the current market rate?
by
VanKleiss
on 27/03/2018, 11:37:26 UTC
If you had the opportunity, would you do it?
For example, you buy 1 Bitcoin for 8000$ and sell it for 8800$ but the money goes to your Paypal account?
And you could do it over and over again?
Nope. 10%  is so small to b converted in fiat. You also need to consider the fee since it is paypal. Since bitcoin is good for long term investment, it is not a good idea to convert your Bitcoin into fiat because it will not appreciate overtime.

Re: Do you think CMT will pass ETH to become the king of ICO base token?
by
VanKleiss
on 27/03/2018, 09:30:06 UTC
As you know, Cybermiles claim that their transaction speed is 10000 TPS which 1000x times faster than ETH because it use POs method.
Also it use the popular programming language (Java, Go, Python) compare with ETH(Solidity is very unpopular), so more DAPP can easilly development based on Cybermiles protocol.
So in my opinion, CMT will pass ETH if the test-net is sucessfull.
What do you think, is it a good time to buy CMT now?, the price is so low. Please share your ideal about this.
I don't think CMT will surpass Ethereum. Remember that Ethereum is the first Smart Contract and DAPP Platform and a successful and reliable platform until today. It also have a lower coin supply compared to CMT, one reason why it cannot reach Ethereum price value.

Re: Ripple new partnership
by

on 24/03/2018, 20:08:36 UTC
Banking group Santander will be partnering with Ripple to release an international money transfer app using Ripple’s Blockchain xCurrent and RippleNet platforms, Business Insider reports today, March 24

 "source : https://cointelegraph.com/news/santander-well-launch-intl-payment-app-with-ripple-this-spring-if-no-one-beats-us-to-it"

In your opinion is this good for ripple ??
It is good for Ripple but not good for its partner. As you can see even there are many bank partners, the price continue to drop and those partners can withdraw anytime they want. Don't you realize that they already have many partners but still they don't use Ripple as a main use in their transaction or even a third party for transaction?

Re: If your coin increased 40% - 200% in value over night. What would you do?
by
VanKleiss

Do you continue hodling or sell? A lot of people say to hold no matter what happens and I'm not advocating daytrading but I think in a situation like this, it'd be advantageous to sell.

Thoughts? What would you do?
If it is a sudden pump better sell the half because there is a big probability that it will correct itself again. If it continues, at least you still have a coin to hold and you gain a profit and at the same time you already get your initial investment. If it gets dump you can buy back again.

If you are a legit ICO there is no reason to be afraid off. Besides Facebook and Twitter are not the only Social Networking site or Advertisement that are available. There are many ways to advertise it to reach the public awareness. I know many ICO that doesn't deleted by facebook, I think the one they are deleting are a shady ICO that has a complain and didn't comply with their rules.

Re: Is there a point in having 1 NEO, 1 LTC...
by
VanKleiss
on 23/03/2018, 20:21:57 UTC
So I can only invest small and have put some funds in some cheaper coins. Then there are these more expencive ones. Is there a point of owning 1 or 2 of each or is there just no chance to make any significant profit that way? Sorry if this is a really stupid question, I'm a noob.
Better invest on cheaper one and trade it with caution. NEO and Litecoin will take time before you make a 100% profit. But if you want a less risk investment, just stick with NEO and Litecoin.

Re: Is this the end of the ethereum coin?
by
VanKleiss
on 23/03/2018, 15:46:06 UTC
I have a small amount of ethereum, I've noticed since january 2018, the price of the ethereum is at $1000, but now it already lost 50% from its recent price. Is this case normal for ethereum coin? Or it is the end of ethereum. (Sorry my intention was not to create FUD, I'm just curious and new to cryptoworld).
If you notice, even other altcoin suffer greater loss than Ethereum. Even bitcoin suffer 60% loss from its all time high. This event is normal even if you checj the history in the chart. Just calm yourself and enjoy the scene. If you have extra bucks, better buy now to cover your paper loss.

Re: ICOs are getting attacked and banned everywhere, ETH is dumping hard
by
VanKleiss
on 23/03/2018, 13:31:05 UTC
i just realized this very interesting relationship here which i wanted to share with everyone and know what you think.

everyone knows that ETH price has only been going up because of all the ICOs that have been using this platform. but we all doubted how effective it was.

right now that ICOs are under attack, their ads are being banned on biggest platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Google,... and they also are getting banned in many countries and right now they are illegal.
with all that ethereum price is also falling pretty hard.

so it seems like everyone was right all along, ETH price has been pumping only because of ICOs...
what do you think?
ICO ban has a slight effect on the price of Ehtereum. The reason why it is down because bitcoin is also down and it is also a scenario with all the top altcoin in coinmarketcap. If you  believe this you will soon regret selling it once the market recover.
