Managed to load it. Seems like it is going to take ages to download the blockchain.
Another issue, I replaced my wallet.dat with my previous wallet. When launching the wallet it modifies the wallet.dat file to a new one.
Any idea how to prevent it from happening and use my old wallet file?

For the first time, you need to launch it manually because windows defender message.
You need to go at C:\Users\$user$\.eccoin-daemon
Managed to load it. Seems like it is going to take ages to download the blockchain.
Another issue, I replaced my wallet.dat with my previous wallet. When launching the wallet it modifies the wallet.dat file to a new one.
Any idea how to prevent it from happening and use my old wallet file?

Neither Yobit or coinexchange have synced their ZEIT wallets , so their are no ZEIT deposits or withdrawals on either,
Why anyone trades on either of those exchanges when they can't bother to sync their wallet with the network is beyond me.

1. Block explorer shows last block was 1481954
2. My wallet is up to date but not staking even though it is unlocked. All my coins appear as 'pending' for some reason.

by replace the private key, you mean load it up with a new wallet.dat? or importprivkey from console?

While yesterday I had the wallet working but couldn't unlock for staking, today I'm having trouble making it work.
Installed the latest version, working good, but as it will take forever to catch up, I downloaded the snapshot, and after following the instructions, when loading the wallet it is just stuck on ' loading block index'
Any advice on how to make it work?

With the latest wallet, click 'Settings' and then click 'Unlock'. Check the box for 'Only Unlock for Staking' and then enter your password. Do that everytime you close and re-open the wallet.
I am using the latest version. And no 'unlock' option under 'settings'

First you need to Encrypt your wallet, then you get the option to unlock it. makes sense....
