Hello guys ... need some help or directions 
My configuration:
Motherboard: Asus Prime H270-Plus
GPU: Asus GTX 1070 DUAL 08G x 6
PSU: Gigabyte XP1200M - 1200 w 80 plus platinum
SSD: 128 Gb ADATA
RAM: HyperX Fury 8 gb DDR4
OS: Win 10 Pro
I have installed all the latest drivers + CUDA
All cards are on power risers VER 006C
So far so good, but ... when i try to mine with EWBF or Nicehash miners it does not take too long for the rig to reboot.
I`m using MSI afterburner in order to over/downclock the cards.
I try them one by one and they work very well ... i can get 470+ sols/s per card, but when i put them all together they are starting to crash the configuration. Everything is fine with 4 cards , but when i add 1 more and the reboot repeats. First i taught that the problem is in the PSU, but i try ETH mining with huge overclock and i was near 1000 W and it was running ok. After that i underclock and start zcash mining and until it gets 800 w it is ok ... after that it starts to crash. If i underclock all the cards and set the power limit to 70% for example it works. I think it also worked for 75% of the power limit ... after that it crash. For ETH i set the power limit to 98% for all cards and still no problem.... no crash... so from here i just decide that the PSU is not the problem. Also the cards when tested one by one are not crashing. The temperature of the cards is not more then 70 C ... usually 65 C. The temp of the CPU was under 45C.
I`m really out of ideas. It will be nice if someone can help me with this. If i forgot some information pls ask

I have the same problem. But i have enough PSU and rig was working fine 1 month in a row. i have 2 PSU . 1 is 750w Corsair for motherboard and 2 gtx 1080 and second is 850watt Corsair for 3(4) gtx 1070 (i cant put the 4'th cause windows error on the boot). After i tried to put the 6th one i have this problem too. It tooks 10 minuets to freeze or restart...It was doing well before so i dont have any clue why it does so. I toggled of overclocking and updated the drivers but the problem remains... who can give any advice?
Yes, im using SSD as a boot device.
Can you give me some instructions about disabling ports? Im not so good at using BIOS but if you tell which ones to desable i can try. (As i written before i use headphones, will it be desabled if i disable sound port? or it is only for sound dedicated cards? (I use only motherboards standard green input for sound).

1) The version of bios is the last one
2) I updated bios exactly for 4g function and yes- it is on
3) No, never tried it before. I use 1 gpu for personal things like movies games and work so i also use headphones. Will this funciont take off all the sound or it doesnt matter?
4)I have UEFI bios by standard. Didnt reinstalled windows yet. Its official windows 10 (updated couple days ago).

Hello everybody. Finaly i recieved my 6-th gpu for full rig and i encountered very strange problem that i never saw before anywehere. I have z170 gaming aura, i7 6700k, 16gb ram, ssd samsun Evo and HDD Sata. 4 gpus are 1070 and 2 are 1080. System and 2 1080 are connected to 1 750Watt Corsair and other 4(3) cards to 850watt Corsair. 1 of gpus (msi 1080) is on the motherboard slot (for work stuff and games).When i try to run the system with all 6 cards ,at the end of the loading of my desktop - 1080 is like disconnecting and i have a black screen.
I tried to reset it couple times and after that i have a windows Error 0xc0000225.
When i unplug 6th card back to 5. Its working as it was...
Also after these "hard tryings" my zec miner 0.3.4b stoped to run. It just dont start at all. At the moment im using nicehash but i woud be glad to fix my zec miner too...
If you have any other questions about the problem i will respond you immediately!

hmm, you got an answer already. In you .bat file add --cuda_devices 0

I know that it is possible, but i never did it before and im not a programmer. Can somebody give me a good advice how to actually do it with using EWBF zcash cuda miner 0.3.4b?

Hello everybody, i have a gpus mining rig on 4x Asus rog Gtx 1070 and 1 gtx 1080 Armor (MSI). The thing is that couple hours of a day i need to use 1 of gpus to render some video, do some benchmark, play videogames ecc. Now im mining zcash with 0.3.4b miner for zec.
So the question is - how can i disable 1 gpu from mining for couple hours to use it by myself and then put it back to work?
(Maybe its a very stupid question but after googling it i found only some specific information about AMD cards only).

Hi guys, i got some results, you were wright, its not 2psu problem, i coud run the system with 3 cards. Something is with BIOS on the motherboard as someone said. What shoud i do with bios to make it work? I heard about restarting it by tooking off the battery. But then i need to setup the bios , any guide for how to do this? Thanks a lot.
Hello everyone, im quite new in mining. i Have a rig on Asus z170 motherboard, intel i7 6700k (took it from my gaming pc as a motherboard). 4 videocards gtx 1070. 1 psu is Corsair 750w and the second one is Be quite pure power 9 -600w.
The problem is that im running now on 750w 3x 1070. I bought a add2psu to synchronise both psus but, when i connect everything and run the rig- i have nothing on the monitor but the rig is actually working. I see black screen with white stripes in the top left corner as always and then it just turns to black.
Im sure that i connected everything as it must be- Main psu holds motherboard with 24pin and cpu, ssd drive, 2 risers and 2 cards in it, the third card is in the motherboard.
What i coud do wrong and how can i run my rig? Cause its rly frustrating after waiting 10 days for that add2psu and my 4-th card is still waiting for nothing...
