how do I start mine? I do not understand this code, where to insert it, and how to edit it? what -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.friends-master.net:4233 -u YOU_GAO_WALLET_ADDRESS -p c=GOA ? what si neoscrypt ? this all for url in browser ?
download miner necessarily ?
use a program like ccminer.  downlaod it and edit one of the default scrypts with the above line and put in your wallet address
i downloaded ccminer for my windows. but - green label (exe) don't open! please, help me !
"edit one of the default scrypts" - which ?

Add that code in text file, which you need to create in ccminer  folder. After adding code save file in .bat extension, like "goa.bat" and start this file.
did. but the file does not open for nothing, just like the green label of the miner.

Make sure that miner is named same in your line of text, as it is in the folder. Then start .bat file, not the miner.

Go with Neoscrypt, best algo for GPU's and no big value coins on this algo to put PASL in a shadow.

Anybody knows why SPK block explorer shows lower net hash than is coming from Bsod alone?
At the moment it shows 18Gh/s Net, and 28Gh/s from Bsod ?
Is it a bug?

Is it normal?

Got some news from Bsod admin, their engineers working and coins lost in yesterdays ddos attack should be transferred in about 8 hours from now. That is estimate time of course.
Thanks for good news!
Looks like admin have already added some funds to my bsod wallet approximately an hour ago.

Yes, I got mine too, thanks devil for that Smiley

Why is the block reward on it's third semester all ready, even that only around 2.1M BWK out of 14.5M first year BWK is mined?

Block reward is still currently 50.

Masternode rewards increased to 25% of the block reward, meaning 12.5 BWK of each block is going to masternodes, and the remaining 37.5 is going to miners.

Though it's important to keep in mind that in approximately 17-18 days, masternode rewards will increase to 33.3% of the block reward. Then another month (approximately) after that, they will increase to 50% as the quarterly block reward decrease takes effect.

So essentially we are just making masternodes rich? I am not sure i understand this seesaw effect. Do we (miners) get the bigger portion of the rewards when the block reward decreases? 50% is a pretty gigantic reward imo. The way i understood it the seesaw item was only for the POS portion of the coin.

Miners win from this model too. To start a masternode you need 5000 coins which are locket from the market, that means coins are extracted from market and not just flushed into exchanges, hence bigger coin prices, and bigger profit for miners..

Just before nist5 disappearing from Bsod I had 35 BWK unconfirmed, and now it shows just 16 BWK.
19 BWK just gone somewhere, but no payments into wallet.

What other coins do people mine with nist5 today? I see sometimes nicehash power is used somewhere else, but can't find any alive nist5 coins as TAC and UPM looks like both dead now?

There is ECTAM but it's not a popular one. It will only have mining for a few more days anyway as it ends at block 15000 and we are near 13000

No, something else. Ectam has tiny net hashrate 0.004TH, while nicehash hashes 2.3TH now, while BWK difficulty stays intact at 60k.

Something doesn't add up. Did you notice something strange while mining BWK?
Net Hash is 2.060 GH and I'm watching 3 largest pools - BSOD, Unimining and Umine. Last hour they had average 0.940 GH + 0.296 GH and 0.280 GH so totaling 1.516 GH. Nethash was 2.06 GH so those three pools had 73% of network, but found only 15 blocks out of 37. That means somebody with 27% of hashrate managed to find 60% of blocks.
And I can see this happening all day today.
My miners mined 2.5 times less today than supposed to according to whattomine calculations, therefore i decided to investigate.
How are your miners doing?
P.S. BSOD having 1.6 TH now managed to find a block in 24 minutes !

I've ordered mine 3 weeks ago, paid bank transfer, and my order is still not confirmed - shows as "paying/valid"
Contacted Bitmain twice, first answer was to read FAQ, second is still not replied.
So I have £6000 gone from my bank account and no assurance what is going on.
How long you guys had to wait until order is processed if paid by bank transfer?
I went through this on my first order. DO NOT WORRY. International wire transfers are slower than anything on earth. The Chinese bank has the funds and until Bitmain picks those funds from the "intermediary bank" and credits it to their own, they do not recognize the payment. I put myself through all kinds of Hell because was not aware of this. Bitmain gets SO many of these requests they just largely ignore them because there is nothing they can do until they see the money on their computer screen. It took 28 days for mine!! I know it's scary but I promise you, you are ok. They are  not ripping you off. Once they see the money in their system, they'll update your order status.

Thanks Ben, I'm just hopping they reserved several antminers, for my order, when I ordered they were still selling them for more than a week, and now they are sold out.

Just made a test buying 1 ETH at $229.12 and selling at $228.94 with $0.18 loss.
Account was deducted by $1.10
So fees are $1.10-$0.18= $0.92

Percentage of fees works out as - $0.92/$229=0.4%
