i have the same issue ! I talked to Baikail support and they send me a new controller board ($20 + shipping), hopefully its working much better. Otherwise i have a plug socket and can control tje power over an timer and via WebInterface.

Мастерноду в любом случае нужно настраивать.
Если не хотите - то воспользуйтесь сервисом хостинга МН от самого проекта.

У меня есть виндовс  VPS, а тут только настройки на убунту, на винловс есть у кого настройки?

You need a computer to enter the miner's dashboard.
To make the settings / input the pools / check it from time to time.
You can do that only by inputting in the browser the miner's IP from your LAN.

So a computer is not needed 24h / 24h, only when you want to set or check.
