I get confused that every second opennic's server does not resolve emercoin domains, flibusta for example Any solutions?
I think the peering with OpenNIC was ended very recently, by this relatively secret vote by OpenNIC https://wiki.opennic.org/votings/drop_namecoin in which Emercoin seems to have been removed from peering with OpenNIC along with Namecoin. I think the lack of disclosure and notice given by OpenNIC, especially in terms of mentioning Emercoin in this vote, and limited effort made to resolve the underlying spam issues in a more constructive way shows that OpenNIC weren't really a valuable partner to have. Perhaps I am incorrect about OpenNIC and one of the Emercoin developers can correct.
The decentralized DNS is one of Emercoin's most useful features, and I hope Emercoin is able to get through these times and continue to a good future eventually.
For someone who invested time in Emercoin because of it's practical and opensource innovation record I feel you have done a huge wrong by targeting Emercoin so heavily in your scam accusation campaign over the last several years, which really should have been directed toward those other projects you have an issue with and not Emercoin. I did not invest time or money in Polibius/Hamster/Hashcoin yet you've dragged my investment and hopes in Emercoin along with them.
Please, don't call Emercoin a scam project. We provide many services, including: EmerDNS, EmerSSH, EmerSSL, EmerDPO, EmerLNX, ENUMER, EmerMAGNET, and EmerNVS. Also, among companies using Emercoin technology are Deloitte, UnaDesk, PROVER, Authorizer, Foundico, VINCHAIN, Microsoft Azure. So, all of these mean that Emercoin isn't scam project.
Founder sold all their coins and left project . Look at this rank of EMC on Coinmarketcap,it's very bad. Don't try lie everyone about news of EMC same like list Okex. This is scam project
People calling it a scam are mostly just immature trolls, in my opinion, or involved in price manipulation.
However, the fact the team have yet to reply to communities repeated requests for clarification about the Emercoin 1000 ideas contest giveaway doesnt help generate much sympathy, or public trust. I hope emc team can work on improving the public image in future.
At Geek Picnic in Moscow Kostiantyn Bigus, MP of Emercoin, presented a report on blockchain and Emercoin technology and met Marc Taverner, one of advisors for Emercoin and head of business development at Bitfury Group to discuss plans and forecast for the future.
Thanks for your support! There will be some changes in mining/minting - granulation by subcent, not cent. Also, the POS-period is taken into account with an accuracy of a second, not a day.
Thanks for your answer. When running the new emercoin-qt wallet it now also lists Unobtanium among the list of copyright credits (in addition to Bitcoin, PPcoin and Namecoin). Do you know what part of Unobtanium code was added to Emercoin, or what it relates to? Thanks again!
A little reminder about the new version of Emercoin wallet. The update is required, especially for PoS mining. New rules in Emercoin blockchain come into effect when the consensus reaches 85%. For now, 49.70 % of the network members have accepted them. It is time to update your wallet!
Good work with all the progress Emercoin has made this year! Can you please explain how the POS consensus rules are proposed to change in the new version? This can help users to decide whether they wish to support the new consensus rules... Thank you.

Emercoin already offer .coin domains as part of their emcdns decentralized domain system, although you need special dns browser extension to visit them.
