Isn't 1gh a version of p2pool? I don't have a worker and I am using my hvc address....

What's being tested? GPU mining or something like that?

So I am running 5 gigabyte r9,270s on this board with windows 8.1 and catalyst 13.11 beta 9. The cards are also undervolted to 1.000 and stable. The issue I am having is that gpu 0 is always running 7-8c hotter than all of the rest. My first idea was OK, bad thermal paste so I plugged the card and rebooted. Windows now sees 4 cards, I start mining and boom the new gpu 0 does the same thing. I only pulled 2 cards out in my test but each time I did gpu 0 would move to another slot but would behave the same way. Gpu 1,2,3,4 all run around 68-69c but gpu 0 (no matter which card it is) runs between 75-76c. Also interesting, I excluded the device from config and sgminer sees that its off but still the temps shoot up.

Anyone have any ideas.


Here screenshot of what I am talking about. I haven't test taking more than 2 cards out but so far whatever gpu gets seen in sgminer as gpu0 gets hotter than all of the others.

2 questions for you. First, if plugging these into a windows do they require a separate power supply for each unit or,can I just use a powered usb hub. Second, how many of these can be ran from a windows machine, third, is there a modified cgminer that will utilize these?

Been going for 8 hours now and I have 8 HW errors. I'd like to get to the point where I don't have HW errors at all but I am pretty satisfied with where I am at right now.

whats your config for the 270 (non x). I cant seem to get my gigabyte 270s stable with any of the settings in this thread.

So I am trying to get my gigabyte 280x's going and I am using the following config

GPU 0 runs is basically not hashing

No clue whats going on.

Reboot fixed it...

Have a 5 card gigabyte 270 rig and I keep having either of the following things happen.  Display driver crashing constantly over and over like this

or I sgminer.exe will crash.

I tried your settings and it ran longer without a crash but I was getting hw errors. For the 3 hours it ran gpu 0 had 1 and gpu 3 had 10.  Starting to wonder if gpu3 is shot....

Will this work with sgminer?

Dogecoin has a varying block reward. Coinwarz averages it at 500,000 because right now the reward can be up to 1,000,000 coin per block. If you the pool you mine at has a run of sub par blocks meaning less than 500k per block average then the calculation will be off. The difficulty fluctuation also come into play as well but it's mainly the random block reward.  You could have block hit for 900k+ then 4 more after that below 50k.  You just never really know.

If they're mining ltc it'll mine any scrypt.

Memory coin can be gpu mined as well.

So using the 4x slot and the 3 1x slots does not work either. This board must not support 4 card. Looks like I am returning a 270.
