Personally, as long as I joined cryptocurrency I never participated in airdrops. I focus more on the bounty campaign. I think the bounty campaign program is far better and more promising. Although the process that must be taken takes a long time, the results are clear and satisfying. Even so, caution must always be applied wherever you are so as not to be hit by a scam.
I never tried to join in an airdrop before, I only join in bounty signature campaign, and my experienced joining in it I can say not so good, but not so bad also. Why? because I have earned money in it already but not so big, only enough for my daily expenses and cannot make a support to my family.
Yes they are hackable. desktop wallets even more so. I am yet to be convinced about the security of hard wallets also, as I know a guy who lost a ton of money during an update of his hard wallet.

Bounty will exist as long as there will be a competition in cryptocurrency. I also feels the same way and getting disappointed how most ICO ended. Most of them are having hard time reaching their softcap, extending their ICO and their bounty program. In the end, we are giving so much time for a cheap and lesser reward. Ofcourse, there are still profitable and got a potential ICOs but they are very hard to find. We can't blame these ICOs and bounty programs since the market still on the correction process.
I didn't blame these bounty. I just blamed the bad root. I think it is caused by too many scam icos and unrealistic projects. Now the biggest problem with blockchain development is that there are many concepts, but implementation rarely.I do believe that even the bounty has dropped so badly, for sure it will be soon ok.
