I think it is pointless to change bitcoin to ETH or back. These are very similar coins. If you really Want to sell bitcoin and buy other coins to expand investments, then pay attention to any of these coins Nucleus Vision, Shivom.

I don't only hold my assets on bitcoin, I allocate some of my capital to ethereum so I have both of these coins in my wallet so I don't have to move on from bitcoin to ethereum, because the two coins I have.

If I was better at programming, I would make something like a simple web dashboard which shows things like temps, fan speeds and hash rates.  Some type of notification if the miner stops reporting or if the hash rate drops would be nice.  My miner runs Linux, so it has to run on that.  Python would probably be a good choice.  I suck at python programming though.

Once or twice a day. I do have some restarts and I'm not sure what's causing it. Maybe Windows update.
But I have my miner on startup as well as overclock in software. So if it restarts, it's all back up again usually at full speed without me actually having to do anything.

Some of my 1060 rigs are mining FTC, VTC and ZEN. Actually the profit is not much now, but I mine and hold coins maybe in 6 months.

I only mine on single gpu and i check it 5+ times aday lol

Both are good, if you have already a mining RIG then it worth a lot because if you have reached the ROI then you are earning money like a boss now.

But even though there is a lack of motivation in the mining rig because people are saying that Ethereum is going to be moved to Proof of Stake which stops the mining and people will move to another coin.

Investing in bitcoin also is a good thing because the ethereum price has been increased too much recently, few months the price was ~$50 and now the price is $280

Hope so there is a dip,but what i did not understand still is why is that the price of ETH and ZEC had a big rally despite i did not see any rapid changes in their protocol,is it simply because the price of bitcoin is still having a rally and now people are investing into alts or is there any specific reason for these price rises,i really cannot make any sense with all the alts rallying like this.

Many are still waiting to buy ETH at $4-5 and others at $1. I'm not saying it will continue to go up but there seems to be a very strong support at $40-42 that was tested like 4 or 5 times already, there's no reason it will go below that unless there's a big issue. If you are looking to get into ETH I would start dollar cost averaging buying every week or month.

To be honest that's the best way to invest for many, timing the market is impossible, yes you can get lucky buying the bottom and selling the top but honestly...you eventually make a bad trade and your gains are gone or you end up buying higher because you missed your buying opportunity waiting for a better price.
