I've been away for quite a while and suddenly remember this section of the forum. I am not sure if you are agreeable to accept a car as collateral, but I am just in desperate need. I have bills to pay and a mortgage on the house, so the banks are trying to foreclose my house. Problem is, I am an uber driver and I need my car to generate income and the banks don't want to give me another loan. So I turn to people here on the forum. I've read the threads of the other lenders, and it seems they are not accepting any physical collateral. So I am hoping you can help me out since I did not see anything about this.
My car is about worth 14k USD, and I know it's lower than my asked amount. But I hope you can consider this, or if you can offer the highest you can give.

Hmm, sorry to hear about your predicament, but I can't say that I can help you. It seems like you are implying you are in the USA, yes? That would mean you are half way across the globe from me, and there is really no security for me to give that loan. I would accept a valid physical collateral, but probably if it would be within my vicinity, but I would be more inclined to not really accept one and would rather prefer something digital which is easily secured like altcoins.
Another fact is that a car would be extremely hard to sell as second hand, unless you under price it by a great margin. So the price would be way lower than what you are asking, and probably you can only get up to half what you are saying it is worth though I am not sure about the veracity of the price you stated it is worth.
I know it is a hard life, but sadly I cannot help you. Please try other lenders who are in the US and thank you for your interest in my service.
I see. That is unfortunate. I hope you can reconsider my offer as it would greatly help me in my problem. I just need a little breather, so I can catch up with all the bills, I know getting a loan is just postponing the inevitable, but I think I can work over time so that I can get back up. Local loan sharks charges really way more than what people are asking here, I hope I can get someone to help out or else I might risk getting a leg broken with the sharks.

I wouldn't accept a car as collateral either but I just want to let you know used cars sell like hotcakes especially Japanese brands (Toyota and Honda retain their value the best).

Just buy bitcoins, they are extremely cheap right now. That would be the best bet, just hold it till the end of 2018 and for sure you won't regret it. Then probably just short the alt coins like DOGE which is extremely artificially pumped right now. A short position on that is the best right now since the pump and dumpers has already stopped pumping it.
For now it has settled around $16k falling from $17k-$18k and has been there which is making people panic, and altcoins are rising for some days now. So, by the year 2018, the price will rise up again (mainly by January) above $20k, and I pray it does not affect the altcoins this time.
Altcoins will always get affected by what direction Bitcoin moves into, which should be clear by now after all the time we have seen it happen. It makes sense as well, because money moves from one place to another based on where people think they will be gaining the best possible profits. If you liquidated Bitcoin at near $20,000 levels, and took positions in the altcoin market, you have done exceptionally well. It's smart and logical thinking that allows you to utilize Bitcoin's volatility. If you have done it right, you have ended up with more Bitcoin quantity than before the correction from near $20,000 levels till where we stand right now.
True, and prices may go up in the next few days since after the correction the alts have been pretty high since you are correct in sayin that altcoins are directly affected by bitcoin prices. I do think if bitcoins are this low and alts this high, then there is no longer equilibrium. So I think it is high time for people to switch back to bitcoins just to get ready for the pump for $20,000 as a start to the new year.
I don't think so. Gold has still a place in this world and it will not yet be obsolete. But in the future I think it would be, however gold still has a use for electronics and stuff. maybe that would be the future. Gold will no longer be something that holds value but more of it would be just a raw material for production.

I don't think this kind of strategy won't work anymore due to its price and popularity right now. Unlike before where the price is very low because it isn't known by people and and a few want to use them. It's better to wait to some things that is newly launch like altcoins, maybe, that will last years.
