Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Partnership with JAXX and ZelCore!
by

About the question: "why someone mine and sell BTX now?" Unfortunatelly we can't see the whole picture. It could be that early BTX miners-investors sell because of they practically reach non-loss level. It also could be private BTX miner with better hashrate. Or smth else. Who knows...
FPGA. Though I could not imagine any nerd skilled enough waste his time on creating a bitstream for TimeTravel10, to mine and dump an illiquid altcoin that is traded solely on Cryptopia and sets ATL every day.
FPGA and professional ASIC miners don't care about "muh narrative, muh decentralization, muh technology". Well, they fare better than holders and traders that did not realize timely on what phase of the market cycle they are.

Edit: sorry, BTX is traded on other markets as well. I was thinking about another mineable Cryptopia altcoin (sole market reference).

Re: [ANN][Main] Bitcore- BTX - Hotfix for CVE-2018-17144 Online!
by

i think the perception of the "absence of a use-driven demand" is the issue. Many people are not aware of the places where bitcore can be spent :

1. Living Room of Satoshi ( https://livingroomofsatoshi.com/ ) . for paying bills in australia.
2. KAMoney ( https://www.kamoney.com.br/ ) . for paying bills in brazil.
3. LuckyGames ( https://luckygames.io/ ) . for gambling online in a form other than investing in crypto Wink
4. Games4Coins ( https://www.games4coins.com/ ) . for playing Steam video games
1, 2. Interesting, kudos to them they created an instrument for miners and holders to liquidate crypto. Do you understand that such payment processors drive prices down? They acquire relatively illiquid holdings, then market sell them (BTX>BTX>USD or other real currency).
3. Nice, gambling is a great niche for crypto - censorship resistance, fast and cheap transactions, ability to validate payment history. I like it. "Gambler's vision"  Wink
4. Nice, as long the discount is legit and worth the hassle. Games4Coins admin, if you are reading this, consider adding popular MMO games.

You stated many good points there, but there are a lot of other PoW coins that did not fall in the price this much! And there are very bad PoW coins that people are still mining and dont dump them this much. I think that btx have their own mining farm with nvidia 1060 cards so they will mine it if noone else does.
Those coins are either fully mined, or have supply-restricting features, as masternodes and their varieties (hypernodes/supernodes).
I agree there are many PoW coins with zero utility, but they are backed by pumpers, that move them 100-400% once in a quarter.
I would suspect that Baikal has some FPGA development for most of the chaining algorithms - from custom X11 to X17. TimeTravel 10 is a custom X14, AFAIK. Adding an algo to a chain or shuffling them is no innovation, all it takes a good FPGA developer is a couple weeks to rewrite the bitstream to mine 10-100x more efficiently vs a GPU.

You could choose any reason you like or all of them:
1. Bearish market in crypto
2. Lack of enough liquidity market
3. Lack of buyers
4. Not obvious progress of BTX development
5. Despair period in BTX price cycle
All these are effects, not causes.
The real cause:
This shitcoin was distributed for free to Bitcoin holders, and further airdropped to registered Bitcore holders. Increasing selling pressure in the absence of a use-driven demand.
Byteball and Bitcore are siblings - bottomless shitcoins with interesting technology ideas and absolutely no reason for holding.

PoW mining does not make Bitcore any more valuable - the share of mining reward to existing supply is very low, rational miners don't hold coins below their average cost of mining - they dump them.

Yeah, I am salty about the price...

What's the difference between this project and ETH or another forks like UBQ/EXP ? Of course this is no ICO and have no premine?
And why I must to use Ellaism instead of ETH chain?
How many devs are in the team?
The most important purpose of the Altcoin ANN thread is to help marketers scammers distribute their useless "utility" tokens to unknowing retail. We help both sides, engaging in signature campaigns and making some visibility of activity on these God forgotten topics.

realbminer,
I am concerned with the power draw stability (sawtooth) on Bytom's algorithm. Could you increase the implied intensity or introduce a configurable intensity parameter? Russian miners also complain about this issue.

I bought VeriCoin for 2$, now staking, but I have a lost of money by investing into Vericoin Sad
by investing gambling

Wait for the next wave of greater fools. I thought PoW coins would be relatively stable from a price perspective compared to PoS coins or premined tokens, as miners incur real costs to generate new coins. Well, most of PoW coins are still in the lengthy period of high inflation.
High inflation+fading gambling interest+low liquidity on Bittrex=you already feel the consequences.

Did the scam-ICO finish?
Guys, just tell your investors they are free to go to school. No free lunch for them.

Why do you say that it is a scam?
Their bounty signature campaign was conducted awfully. Caesar V was their bounty manager, @JoeInvests on Telegram.
They did not count several people into the total bounty allocation, neither were willing to accept their faults.
Stupid staff, bitchy team.

It was a nice pop. No surprise. This is how coins with extremely low circulating supplies move when there is a little buy pressure.  The volume was relatively low when compared to other coins in the top 50.

The volume is high, the mc is high and it is the best marketing for coin. So, we will see.  We hope 200+
0.2-0.5% as Volume/Cap, while all the volume happens on scammy exchanges - yes, scammy, as they are used only by short-sighted bagholders, absent Value Proposition and absolutely idiotic community is the right way to 200.

This has to be most obvious pump and dump scamcoin so far still bagholders won't see it. Your scam starts with stealing bitcoin name then it moves to bigger scam territory but taking low supply ZCL to 7 times higher supply poop coin, obviously dump all developer bags while doing it. Nice scam, developers dump and bagholders pump lol.
You are the man! I was contemplating a recent tweet - what altcoin has the dumbest followers, akin to Flat Eathers or Deniers of Global Climate Change? Is it Tron, Verge, Bitcoin Cash or Ripple? I'd rank Zclassic pretty first or second place.

Now 32th...... now we have to expect large exchange offices
Yes, exchanges are going to accept BTCP more easily. That's good!
Is BTCP going to be pumped like ZCL or Bitcoin Cash? That's the question...
BTCP has already been the stupid pump of ZCL. Move on to another trashcoin.

Viewing the development team to continue to grow in the number of employees and expertise,
enabling to build an ambitious tecnology-driven roadmap.
very interesting, successful implementation of the planned roadmap will enable private Bitcoin to deliver superior value to other Bitcoin hard forks, especially around privacy and transaction speed.
Yeah, disingenuous BS. Except any of the things you mentioned brings value.

I do not understand why they say these people are a scam. The wallets work great, transactions are fast, the interviews show just how real the devs are.
They are very transparent, including drama with Exchanges, hard fork dates, expectation setting.
Good luck thinking about Rhekt and Co as of honest, innovative and hardworking cryptographers, economic system builders and competent developers.

Just say "thanks" to me for unloading at 1/10 of ATH. Don't bother invoking the missed profits or "alleged" opportunity cost. I'm better off morally, getting rid of toxic waste at any cost.

Excuse me.  Which questions are we not answering?  It's a very common thing within crypto space to not comment on exchanges, as we don't want our token classified as a security.
Cut the BS. Your token is an unregistered security on objective reasons - all 4 conditions on Howey test are realized, just like for any ICO or crowd-sold token. You shy away from discussing listings just to make an illusion that "our token is not a security".

For some reason, I'm not on the list. Neither facebook nor twitter of telegrams (with an avatar) and signature (which is important) are not taken into count.  Joi said that I did not fill out the form-although everything was done according to the rules. I do not want to believe that the administrators of this project are scammers.
I second your words. Same situations, everything done by the requirements, yet I was not counted.

Hey team, get your shit together and reward all the people that contributed to your campaign.
I was attracted by the idea of your ICO - to rate projects and flag the appropriate ones as scams. Not counting bounty participants correctly - you become a scam yourselves.

once they made that coin and price a lot drowned... and nobody interested in "whale". ok, they r going for a new scam - BTCP, but i rly would glad if someone will take zcl project to good hands, because those developers can only make that trash coins. at the begining they wanted to work with ZCL and make "Whale" coin and what now? maybe they think if it will have BTC in its name, all will be ok?)) BTCP its absurd - i completely agree with like-minded people here
One of the few reasonable opinions throughout the entire thread.

Hasn't yet anyone coined the term "ZCL'ed" or "Rhekted"?  Grin
