Re: sales of the crypto currency Petro
by

on 12/03/2018, 13:54:08 UTC
The initial stage of sales of the crypto currency Petro, collected $ 5 billion. In its course more than 186 thousand certified purchases were registered. Nicholas Maduro explained that the money received from the preliminary sale of the crypto currency will be used to "service everything that our country needs." According to him, the money is part of a broader "economic decision", which the Venezuelan government united. In addition, Carlos Vargas, the country's chief crypto currency agent, showed that more than 83,000 people from 127 countries tried to acquire Petro.

That Petro won't be successful coin, it's centralized as hell and looks like a bad version of Ripple. At least Ripple was hyped by clever people but Petro is just a disaster

... What do you think of my investment move? ...

I think that is a kinda often situation on that forum when somebody is trying to advert his project playing a role of a newbie and involving people into discussions about it. You didn't invent something new.

All of them simply ask for your ETH address and want you to join their channel on telegram. I mean, it doesnt make any sense.

Why would people buy when a lot of people are getting them for free.

You're right, most of them are useless trash and cost nothing. That's one of the reasons why they're on airdrop: the creators are trying to get more attention to their coin. Also that might stimulate people to buy the coin.

Also they're doing that for getting more people on the Telegram channel so it would look like their project is a good one and popular one so it would look more reliable and trustworthy.

Re: Google too closing crypto ads

Oh, I think this is very good because most google adds were just shitty ICOs. Now we have more room to do campaigns here in Bitcointalk where people know more about cryptos.

True that, most of them are literally scam and we should get rid of them. it's much better to have less ICO but with a higher quality.

Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ?
by
Vik_the_Carpentner
on 12/03/2018, 13:20:22 UTC
forums, twitter, and reddit in my opinion is the right place to promote and announce the existing ICO, as many players and investors often open these three media.

I don't agree with you on Twitter, most of people who's hanging out there are using the site as a platform for making money so they just won't read your posts. Better spend more time on Reddit and Telegram

Install on USB, throw USB in some dark hole. PROTECTED.

Yeah, I have the same opinion on that. Why doesn't people understand it's simple to protect your wallet? Also we can use removable hard drive and keep the wallet there.

Re: No more facebook campaigns?
by

I think this is a big disadvantage if the facebook campaign stops, because everyone is facebook now, they may not have any twitter or instagram or other social media, but surely everyone has facebook,

Believe me, if the people been using Facebook for bounties they will definitely create a twitter and any othre profiles. That people won't loose their profit.  Smiley

This week we see a drop in the rates of all coins. Once again, the market reacts to the fall in the price of bitcoin.

But as I heard when the Bitcoin going down, then altcoins are going up really fast. What is your predictions and explanations for the current situation then?

Re: Does investing on ICO now is a good time?
by
Vik_the_Carpentner
on 08/03/2018, 12:50:26 UTC
I don't see too many good ICO's right now, also when you consider the market is going down I don't think it's a good time to invest in ICO's. Unless you don't find a very good one just wait for the right time/project to come.

The point is there are less ICo than a year ago just because the market is turning at the mature phase and you can't just create a silly ICO with stolen Whitepapers and get money
Nowadays you gotta work really hard

Re: IS JOINING BOUNTY MORE PROFITABLE THAN JOINING AN ICO?
by
Vik_the_Carpentner
on 08/03/2018, 12:47:40 UTC
Depends on the amount of investing, mostly the ICO is much profitable than bounty. Some people are mixing that two ways but you got to be sure that the project is going to have a bright future otherwise you're done.

Re: Electroneum mobile mining

Electroneum released mobile mining App on Android and Apple. That's looks pretty cool. Have you tried that and what do you think about that?

Never tried really ... is it ... is it enough power in the mobile processor for a mining of a +\- profitable coin? I mean you can't use mobile to mine BTC, you have to use a mining farm for that. Is it profitable anyway to mine some trashcoin that cost $0?

i am sure xlm and xrp be the coins of the future

many will support it because the platform is good

U're wrong, lot of people doesn't like Ripple and I don't believe it even has a bright future. The Waves or DeepOnion is looking much more trustworthy to me.

As we see, the market are growing up not only in numbers, but also in it's quality. That means the rapid changes are going to happened less and less. So I don't think that top-10 coins are going to change crucially.

Re: Do you believe in Dogecoin future?
by
Vik_the_Carpentner
on 02/03/2018, 10:01:47 UTC
Im sure never doge will reach 1$..I don't believe in the bright doge future, because nothing special behind this coin - fork of BTC with small modifications.  But I still see some benefits from using - very cheap and fast transactions between exchanges.  In other points - doge is more dead than alive.

Your words have a sense but I still believe Dogecoin going to make it and survive on the market. It's one of the best coins if you need quick and cheap transactions, really useful.

Hope we will see next bottom soon) Krypto don't need weak hands, for now, at least. So if prices will drop to about zero value, I will buy a lot of coins)

Feel you, I think same way. When the prices are falling I'm buying lot of coins. And the newbies start panic selling all their coins.  Grin

Re: Tokens from Campaigns
by
Vik_the_Carpentner
on 27/02/2018, 16:43:26 UTC
How long does it usually take for a campaign to actually distribute the tokens of the participants?

You mean bounty or airdrops? Always after the end of ICO, mostly it takes about 1-2 weeks. If more - forget and go on, they're scammers.
