Quite plainly, i couldn´t give anything what you think about it.

Is it overpriced price per GH? yes.

More than other hosted gh? no. As such, the price seems fair and will most likely mirror the one per GH on cex.

Cex.io is even more bonkers, Ill give you that. You'd also have to be an idiot to buy hosted mining at cointerra, but they charge $3M/PH for 12 months or 5.11 BTC/TH per year
Peta mining is currently 4.66 BTC/TH
but you have to factor in the loan 538 BTC /1150TH =0.47 BTC/TH
and you have to factor in hosting fees 73 BTC/week  / 1150TH * 52 weeks= 3.3 BTC/TH/year

Total 4.66 + 0.47 + 3.3 = 8.43 BTC/ TH/year

Heck, its actually even more expensive than cex.io!

CEX.IO: 7.4 BTC/TH + maintenance cost 0.26 USD/GHS/month = 3120 USD/TH/year = 5,2 BTC (@600 USD/BTC)

Total 7.4 + 5.2 = 12.6 BTC/TH/year

Re: [HAVELOCK] SCRYPT 10 GH/s hosted scrypt mining project by CRYPTX - IPO 7 MAY
by

I am not quite sure I understand why the share price is dropping like this.

The operation is barely 4 weeks old, dividends coming in regularly and at a level which is as expected for the exchange rate between ltc/bt.c dividend yield was more than generous with ~70% at ipo share price given the project is run by the same people that run peta-mine. They are not nobodies, the risk of them running away is far lower than some of the other projects around here. They have a track record of being able to actually run something like this. Still shareholders are backing away and are selling (presumably) at a loss after only three weeks of dividends.

What am I missing?

Or maybe it's just these same people who first sold their PETA shares for ridiculously low price to buying SCRYPT and now their risk tolerance has come to it's end and they are selling again in panic? Just guessing...

But also have to say that the communication level of CryptX has recently been unforgiving poor on there, that could be part of the reason?

So at the moment there's no explanation at all for the PETA, this is pretty weird indeed, some "new strategies" are coming beyond the all...?  Huh

edit: now it's there again, but a shorter version of the original...

I feel that some news are coming shortly...?

When it comes to reddit this is where we need to be

Reddit.com/r/bitcoinstocks

But it needs to be pushed more as an investment.

Things like increasing dividends
Our own PCBs
Hundreds if not thousands more to come
Doubled in size in the last week alone
Undervalued
Link to havelock
Ect ect

Edit: infact let me do it. Just need to find a computer

+1

explain the situation with bitmine please

thanks

don't worry, this is my territory  Grin

edit: http://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinStocks/comments/240sm3/the_holy_grail_of_mining_securities_petamine/

this is a subreddit full of investors of bitcoin securities.

if you don't have an account it takes 20 seconds to create one. lets get a good quality discussion going. This is the subreddit we'll make the biggest impact.

+1000

Very well done, thanks for that!

btw. I'm a graphic designer by profession, so if we/CryptX need any kind of visual material for supporting the marketing, I might be able to help on that...

At this week, we should take an additional level to our betting game:

Will we hit 500TH/s before Friday - YES/NO?

I would say YES!  Cool

Good job on the custom systems.

@Cryptx

As Bitmine´s production remains low and they didn´t meet their contractually stated deadlines again, would it be an option to simply convert the order of rigs/desks into a larger order of Chips?
(larger because assembly cost, PSU cost etc., aswell as compensation for late delivery...)

Assuming you can produce a decent amount of units per week (which this week has shown us) this might be a faster, cheaper solution with considerable advantages for both us and them.

I dont know the leadtime for parts used in your system. However, i think hat bitmine might also be happy with that agreement,
as they would no longer need to compensate for their continouing delay.

Totally agree with you.
Convert those orders into chips would be great. And by doing that maybe we can hit 1 PH/s very soon.

I also totally agree if there's not any contract points with Bitmine which could prevent that. There's certainly a lot of well capable companies out there who could do the job with better cost-effectivity, if CryptX's current resources are not enough...

I don't expect to see any big surprises in payouts of this week.

I also believe that the noted 23.3 could be anything else, but it's simply too much to be from these chips by the current rate.

So my current week estimation without chips is: 0.000615 in divs (including 27 BTC hosting fee).

But because I don't really want to be that pessimistic in these dark times, I predict that next week will the best ever! Smiley When Jesus Christ will rise up from the grave, so will shares of the PETA! Wink (and all you who will be deeply disappointed to divs tomorrow, please sell your shares to me for ridiculously low price, thanks!) Wink)

Btw. 257 TH/s 15 min / 242 TH/s 1 hour!

Dividend:

103.46617467 BTC in total from mining:
- 46.09390765 as Dividend (0.00057136 BTC / share)
- 24.81979643 Reinvestment
- 32.55247059 Hosting Fee

Status Update:
- Units bought with last week reinvestment funds will arrive on Tuesday, we will buy additional units with this weeks reinvestment (4TH for 24 BTC).
- 350 A1 Chips are still for sale.
- Production of our own systems started and we expect first units to be ready by next week.

Dear CryptX, thank you for the update and all the good news!

Hosting Fee is indeed pretty high, as expected. Could it be possible to give a little more specific information, what are these main factors, that affects to Hosting Fees and how much (except BTC price)? And for example, if BTC will drop some 30-40% more, could we have a situation, where Hosting Fees are more than Dividends? Or more than Dividends and Reinvestments together? And could there be any method to reducing this currency volatility effect for Hosting Fees?

So I don't asking you to give your most confidential company information and definitely do not want to say that you should attempt to offset the possible losses of your investors from your own pockets. I just want to ask a little more transparency on this question, if possible? I would appreciate very much! Thanks again!

I don't know how much we really can trust to this new monitoring... It was just a moment ago over 200, right now 183... At least 15 min interval leaves a lot of inaccuracy.

We will visit them next Monday to discuss ongoing issues and delays in manufacturing and delivery as daily production volume remains low and is of course directly impacting our project.

That was last Friday (or Saturday 29. March GMT+2 time) so they should have been there already, right?

It could be some kind of a turning point for this project right now - when short-term "investors" are probably jumping out because of the current uncertain situation and long-term real investors, perhaps with also better risk tolerance, are increasing their investments at current cheap rates (both BTC+PETA)... At least I hope so. In long-term, this could mean slightly more stable volatility, as long as anything catastrophic won't happen out there... Does anyone agree?

Thanks for the update! And I suppose that you guys have made some little background work about the LK Group Ltd. before you sent that 108 BTC to them, right? At least their website raises more questions than answers about the company itself... Huh

Edit: there seems to be an another company too in China with exactly the same name but doing slightly bigger machines: http://www.lktechnology.com/?page=product

Looks legit, these are aka dragon miners

see this thread : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=523634.0

What did you expect for reinvestments ?

Yes, you are probably right about the LK Group, it seems legit. I did not expect anything and miners from China is not a problem for me. Actually Chinese manufacturers have kept their promises better than any others so far plus their prices are of course relativity cheap. It's because these products are always less or more just copies and many of the single parts are coming in anyway from China, so they can just wait until someone brings out completely working product and then use their very effective production lines to copying them, or just the best parts of them. Bitmine could ever have such capacities in Switzerland. But it's still worth to remember that there's also a lot of scammers on the market and losing some 100 BTC or more in this situation would be like a hard blow below the belt for this project at the moment... And that was my actual point. Smiley

Latest developments

- Deployment:
So far, Bitmine systems are coming in slow. We will visit them next Monday to discuss ongoing issues and delays in manufacturing and delivery as daily production volume remains low and is of course directly impacting our project. We remain in day-to-day communication to follow up on progress and speed up things wherever we can (we purchased our own PSU’s for the desk model as Bitmine ran out and has a delay with their PSU manufacturer, do part of assembly ourselves, use the fasted available shipping, etc. )

- Reinvestment:
We have purchased 18 new 1TH systems from LK Group Ltd. for a total of 108 BTC (6 BTC / System). These systems are also based on the A1 chip and should be available by end of next week (April 4th).  More info can be found on their website http://www.lketc.com/engoods/show/252.aspx

- Mining Pool:
It is our opinion that our hashrate is still too small to go solo and set up our own mining pool. We will evaluate this further as we grow, but are of course not bound to Eligius. Besides stable revenue / frequent payouts it is also important that our hashrate remains transparent and can be easily monitored by unit holders.

Although things are not yet at full speed, we are glad to have crossed the 150TH mark this week and provide steady revenue. We will continue to work hard for the growth and success of the PETA-MINE and keep you updated on new developments.
